I have never had a better experience with a U-Haul, or nearly any facility. The people are incredibly friendly and the facility is nice, as well. I returned a truck there from out of town and the man who checked me in couldnt have been friendlier. I also have a storage unit there. I had an issue with billing and the woman who helped me on the phone was fantastic. Also, the unit was nice and clean when I moved in, as well as the loading bay. I also like that there is a community donation center in the loading bay (we had some nice stuff that we no longer needed, so it was convenient to be able to leave it there. Came back the next day and most of what we left had already been taken, so that was a win-win for us and someone else.

This 5 star rating is the bare minimum of a praise to the hard work of William B.! He was continuously helpful and high spirited despite being the only employee working a Saturday afternoon. My reservation had been incorrectly changed in the system but he took the time to straighten everything out and even found us a better deal. His amazing customer service was a true God send to our moving process and I hope his employers know what a wonderful staff member they have! Thank you again, William!

Came in January 22, 2021 to have a hitch installed. The job was supposed to take 1.5hrs. I was advised it could take 3, I was understanding and patient. At 3 hrs, job wasnt complete. I asked if they needed help, since I am a mechanic. Only reason I chose to use them instead of doing the job myself was because I already had a vehicle I was working on and didnt have space to do this job. When I got home I noticed that things werent reassembled correctly, and parts were missing. I went back to the shop, was given the managers business card with his cell number on it. I called and let him know what was going on, and every time I mentioned something about the job, he denied it. He was the one working on the vehicle at rhe time with what looked like 2 or 3 other people over a 4 hour period. There was also a small child running around distracting them the whole time. Well, as Im on the phone and taking pictures of everything to prove to him that I knew he was lying to me, I sent them to him and was told I would be issued a refund for the work that I paid for that wasnt performed. They didnt tighten the nuts on the hitch over 20lbs, had double washers on one of the nuts, bent my exhaust, drilled large holes in my frame, didnt secure the wiring properly according to the detailed instructions it came with. As of today, February 8th, 2021, I still have yet to hear back from either the store manager or from the insurance claim for getting the worked fixed and inspected and parts broken replaced. I have text messages and emails with all this information. This needs to be fixed now, it doesnt take more than 3 weeks to admit you were wrong and refund someone their money, especially when they have more than enough evidence.

Incredible experience with this U-Haul establishment and especially the manager, Chris. I had accidentally left a very important item in the last truck that I rented out (and returned over a WEEK ago) and he was nothing but patient, kind, and accommodating to me during this endeavor, even though I felt like a crazy lady for checking in every hour. He was able to track the truck down and contact the current renters about its whereabouts!He’s also incredibly knowledgeable and efficient, his commitment to helping me out was not without recognition!

We were sold insurance policy when we rented a trailer to move sound equipment for a event the trailer leaked water in the rain driving it. We contacted repwest they said water damage is excluded from U-Hauls policy it is the locations responsibility they determined it was the trailers fault. Going on 2 months they said it was leaking trailer and will make it right but still no resolution keep making excuses (trailer has mold in corner from leaks)

I did the mobile check in and when I went in to get the key I stood there for literally over 30 mins waiting for this rude guy to ignore myself and a line of other customers waiting as he tried to figure out how to check in vehicles over the phone with someone. Finally after getting off the phone he is going on and on about how ridiculous things are there and tosses keys at me after telling me my rental isn’t ready. It was clear he had no clue what he was doing and it is the reason I will be not returning to this location again.

U-Haul doesnt honor their guarantee or their reservations. They show no concern for their reputation as when you make a promise you keep your word. A guarantee is a guarantee, if you dont intend to honor your guarantee dont put it on the website. You lost a customer, hope youre happy!

Chris the GM has been a big help with my move from Houston, TX. I was in a bigger truck then I thought I needed and when I went to utilize my 1st month free storage he realized I needed two. Chris made sure they were across from each other and when I was charged $120.00 for the fuel which was a mistake he made sure I was refunded. The staff here was super friendly and helpful. The check-in tech hardly let us get out of the truck before letting us know he would take care of checking the truck in so we didnt even have to go back inside to check-in the keys!!

My van broke down. Contacted all the rental places in the area and they wanted $400-$500 a week. Im a single parent and cant afford that plus get my van repaired. I remembered U-Haul has trucks they rent. I got one for $144 plus tax plus .59¢ a mile. Basically paid $233 for the week. We had a little trouble in the beginning. 1st guy (young guy) I delt with sucked but the other guy I delt with after him was amazing. I wish I could remember his name cause he deserves recognition for his greatness. I will definitely use them again if needed.

Poorly run uhaul facility. If you want a truck with no gas and the cabin smelling like old cigarettes this is the place for you. When I received my truck I was never given a contract showing how much fuel the truck had and to list any damages i noticed. The truck had a 60 gallon tank and i received it with just 2 gallons of fuel. I was charged a fuel service fee of $60.The staff were unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. Every person i talked to there sounded like it was there first day. If you have to rent a uhaul in the Tulsa area i strongly recommend any other store. Save your money and time and avoid this place at all costs.

General manager, Chris Munoz, was working front desk, but was nowhere in site when I entered sales area. Then after bringing van to me, he never offered any delivery information I needed to know. Did the online check in trying to make that process go smoothly. Employee with no name tag checked me in but was rude to me because he couldnt find my name in system. He told me he needed the van key to check me out/van in. I wanted to pay cash for rental but it was charged to the card. Not my best experience with U-Haul.

Nice store and UHaul is a family name. But after being sent by 3 other locations around town who were out of propane I landed at this one. The staff was clueless when I got there. But thats fine, its an entry level job and they werent certified to pump propane and didnt know if the Manager was there or not. But was taken back when I came back inside after waiting at the propane tank for awhile just to be met with hostility from the Manager no less! When he got outside he was rude and dismissed legitimate concerns and even argued with me. Very poor customer service. I know from my years with this company the local President has higher standards than this. His integrity and expectations he has for his stores is far beyond what Ive experienced visiting this branch. Was extremely disappointed with the entire experience at this location.

I scheduled an appointment to have a hitched installed on my car for April 26 2021. I dropped my car off and when I went to pick it up 4 hours later after not receiving a call (number mix up) the hitch hadn’t been installed because they did have the right part. I was told the the part should be there within a few days and I also then requested wiring. Christopher said it should only take a few days for both parts to arrive and that he would give me a call in a couple days. I heard nothing from him for over a week. I called and left a message, but no response. Keep in mind, that I had already paid about $311. So after not getting through, I physically went into the shop on Friday May 14th. He went to look and said he still did not have the parts but he would contact a different store the same day and call me so that I can drop off the car to have the hitch and wiring installed. I heard nothing from him. On Wednesday May 19th, I contacted Christopher via text message and phone and left a message to have my money returned. I still have not received a refund and am really upset about the service I have received. As I plan a move across states and had planned to utilize uhaul trailers and storage, I truly feel discouraged by this

This company is the worst in the world i rented a trailer and blew a tire and they left me on the side of the road with no way to get anything to drink or use the restroom for 7 hours over a simple blown out tire!! That is just ridiculous

RENTERS BEWARE. I rented a truck for my employer, used Uhauls encouraged Truck Share 24/7 service, where you check in on your phone upon arrival and go through the process to gain access to and return the truck remotely. I do not recommend the process, it took 3 times longer than walking in to check in - over a 30-minute process, then you still had to walk in to get the key from the counter, which defeated the whole purpose I think. Returned the truck 23 hours ahead of the due time, attendant took the key and said he would take care of it and send an e-receipt. 2 hours later the receipt showed a $30 fuel service fee and a $31.88 8 GL fuel charge. A $41 rental turned into $111 real quick. I took photos of the gas gauge before and after, right at 1/4 tank. The mileage out was 71164 (turned to 71165 pulling out of the lot), mileage returned was 71167. We literally drove 2 miles total, just needed it at a neighboring business to store event items in it overnight. The return receipt showed the gas centered right between 1/8 and 1/4 tank, which was a misread by the attendant. When I called immediately after getting the receipt, I called and spoke to Mike on Sat. 4:30pm and requested he go read it again before it was rented out again. Mike was friendly on the phone and explained that they were training new employees and that they would get it fixed. I attempted to call Mon. to follow up since I did not have a corrected receipt yet. The hold time was over 20 minutes, so I gave up - I dont have that time to spare when at work. I called Tues. 5/25 and spoke with Keisha (sp?), who was also very friendly. She said she would contact Chris, the general manager and that he would check out and call me back. As of 5/27 1pm (48 hours later, and 5 days later from my first call) I still have yet to receive a callback or corrected receipt. So I tried to call again, and again am told the hold wait time is 20 minutes. This is beyond frustrating because: 1) we rent these trucks 2-3 times per year for such events, and Its inconvenient to have to change rental providers due to lack of Uhauls integrity and customer service, especially when they are right next door to us, 2) I am wasting a lot of my time and my employers time trying to fix a $60 mistake, 3) They are making me, the coordinator, look bad to my employer for wasting their money in exorbitant fees, of no fault of my own other than trusting Uhaul to the agreed terms of the rental. For all of this, I believe it now merits public reviews to warn other renters to beware. If they dont care about me, just 1 customer of a many, they wont care about you. Maybe they will care if they lose a handful of potential customers with another bad review. Its sad public shaming has to dictate a response vs personal integrity...if they even care to respond. But then again, maybe the Uhaul corporation doesnt care. I will gladly update this review if they would reach out to multiple requests for service and respond fairly.

When Enterprise gave away my rental and all the rental cars in town were unavailable I remembered that Uhaul rented pick-up trucks at a reasonable rate so I checked into them. After going thru their process I secured a nice new 2021 Chevrolet Silverado with 420 miles on it, I was blessed. I do my walk around inspection and am on my way. They were supposed to email my receipt to me but never received it, had I gotten it I would have noticed the $100 CDW charge on there and had it removed immediately but it wasnt until 3 days later when I went to re-rent it that I noticed the charges and inquired as to what they were. Come to find out its for full coverage insurance, which I already have, and dont need for their truck. But in order to have this fixed youve got to check the truck back in then re-rent it back out again. The guy that helped me the 1st time just happened to be there when I came back in the 2nd time so he took care of me 100% wish I knew the guys name but I dont. He was very professional and understanding and helpful with the whole situation and even fudged the check in paperwork to read like it should have because the truck wasnt ready to be checked in yet, I hadnt planned on having to check it in or re-renting it, it was dirty and I had just filled the tank but he logged the fuel level as being the correct level to check in so that didnt cost me anymore $. All in all an excellent experience so far. Their mileage is a bit on the pricey side but theyre running a business to make money not donate equipment...

Do not get a hitch installed at Uhaul. I made an appointment online to have a hitch installed at 11:30 4/26. I drop my car off and received a call at 5:30 saying he was just now starting on my car but he promised to have it done a little after 7:00 pm. I arrived at 6:30 and waited until 8:30 pm. When he found out it was the wrong hitch. The manager left a message for the morning person to find the correct hitch. He also gave me his cell number and said to call him at 9:00 am because I had to be on the road at 9:30. I show up and the morning person is completely clueless. She texted the manager and he answered her and said he was looking for the hitch. He said he would call me a bit. I let at 10:30 am and he never did call. I called again that afternoon and he still did not answer his phone. Here it is Thursday 4/29 and I still have not heard from them.

Went in on a Saturday to pick a trailer up. It was busy and the owner was by himself. Ive never seen anyone move so fast. He had everyone taken care quickly and all the time he was polite and courteous. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My comment is not location specific but related to the booking process.When I booked the truck it indicated the truck was available at my requested location.The email I received had that address in it.My contract had that address on it.Logging into my uhaul.com account had that address.The morning of my move I just happened to look in the app and noticed a different address.I called customer service and was told my location changed because the truck was no longer available at my requested location.I was never notified.I went back into all of my texts and emails. Nothing. If I hadnt looked in the app I would have shown up at the wrong location.I was not very happy.

I received the truck with 1/2 a tank but did not realize this and filled the truck up out of habit with other rental agreements I have had in the past. Had I known, I would have returned the truck as I got it.

Upon arriving to sign for truck, Lucas (worker)advised me that he couldnt find my original truck, so he would have to adjust the mileage and fuel level manually in the system and on my contract. He told me not to worry about the initial check in online with the truck since it didnt match original truck. I said ok. Then when dropping off truck through the app, discovered that he had not changed anything and I was about to be charged over 2,000 dollars because mileage claimed I had driven over 2,000 miles. I had drove aproximately 12. I called CS who noted my account and I never received a call back. Then 2 days later I called again and was told the manager would call me back. Never received a call. The billing system is messed up so I dont know what is being held or charged but im getting texts about putting in reviews!

The interior of the truck was slightly older and worn then I would have liked. The windows were manual, which is fine, but the knob was broken off so it was hard to roll down. The owner was very nice and helpful. Very quick check in and out.

Definitely not worth the trouble. I was offered the free 1st month of storage. Just received a bill with a late fee for my free 1st month. Also I was there less than a week ago to pay a bill. After doing so I looked at the receipt to see that I was only charged for a disc lock that I had already paid for. When I inquired about a refund on the lock and owing anything else I was told nothing was due and the lock fee that I had paid would be applied to the next months rent 🙄Go. Somewhere. Else.

After previously having a not so great experience here, I was pleasantly suprised this time. They were Extremely fast and friendly service for my trailer rental. Other employees that weren’t helping me asked me how I was doing and the guy that hooked up the trailer shook my hand and wished me a great trip. Came here year ago play Help Me by installing the backup cameras to the hitch so I could tell my stuff came here A year later and they still great people help me with what I need and actually communicate with you and not try to just sell you a product would actually try to work with you and help you out and make you feel welcome and actually get what you really need instead of forcing you to buy packages and other stuff that you dont need so that really push me to give him a 5 at 5 because you want to place where you dont get her rest as much and just come in to get what you need and asked you if you need something else and if not to leave you alone and that makes me want to recommend these guys over and over again because I kept coming one year in a two year and I helped some of my buddies move and will still come back to this U-Haul place that makes you feel great about just going in getting what you need no making fun of how much money you have or budget they just give you what you need and you walk out feeling unembarrassed appreciate it. Thank you guys

Worst experience ever with a uhaul rental, and we havent even gotten the uhaul yet. We made reservations a week ago to pick up the uhaul at 8 a.m on Saturday morning. We have been sitting here for an hour waiting to get our rental, along with about 8 other people. Store opens at 7, no one was inside when we arrived or for the first 25 minutes we were in there. The guy working acted as if he could care less that people were waiting and he was the ONLY one there. We reserved for 8 because we had some big furniture items to move and wanted to make sure we had time to do it all before my husband had to be at work at 1 PM. Theyve now cost us over an hour of moving time that is likely going to screw up our whole plan for the day. Had we been aware that they were not prepared or equipped to honor our appointment/pickup time, we would have gladly reserved at another location.Do yourself a favour and reserve your truck elsewhere.

Unsatisfied with the customer service at this location. When we arrived to pick up the senior attendant told us he doesnt have time for us and passed us to a new employee who had no clue how to proceed with our rental. After being assigned q trailer that was npt at the location they told us to attach to one available and ybey would correct it on the contract. After hooking up and getting ready to leave the senior employee told us to wwit to see if its a transfer trailer, after 5 mins I went inside and was told to change trailers. I no longer had the patience to wait for thwm to unhook the trailer and recieved help from the area manager who was doing work at the store. This problem is not the only one as seen on other reviews. Go to different locations if possible.

Worst service and under staffed. We used the ubox and because they did not have the appropriate staff we had to wait 4 days to access our boxes. plus they could not deliver them and made us rent a trailer to and go ober on our mileage on the truck to get them to the house we moved into. It was a nightmare. I will never use the Ubox system again!!!!!!!! We were promised they would work with is on the mileage, but since the guy that made that promise was off when we turned the truck in, they screwed us over. We are very very very mad at Uhaul. They had the date wrong in the system for pickuo and access. and for some reason could not figure their own system out! We were carged more than quoted price, and told (after we had packed and dropped off) that we would not be told full lrice until it arrived at destination. They DO NOT SHIP ANYWHERE! They ship to store near you then want to charge you hundreds more to deliver it at their convenience, when they decide to have enough staff!!! The location we picked the truck up from could nkt even deliver it to us from the beginning because they were understaffed and we had tonpay to rent a truck and trailer then. So we paid more than we were supposed to to begin with!!! This is a scam DO NOT USE THE UBOX. They will give you the run around and overcharge you!

They had a very poor selection of trucks and trailers, and not enough help. I rented a trailer to move to OKC, and they made me return the trailer back to Tulsa. Very inconvenient. The woman working that day was a pleasant person though.

We rented a 10 ft truck in Tulsa and since we were paying with cash and returning the truck in nlr AR, we had to put a $100 deposit down, to be refunded when we returned the truck, BUT, when we returned the truck were told that our deposit would be MAILED back to us... WTF??? Its been 7 business days and we have not received our deposit yet???? Just wondering where our $100 is????

The truth is I am very disappointed, this Sheridan branch is the second time that they make a mistake and they deduct the wrong amount from my bank. Apart from the $ 45 for the rental of the trailer they made me an extra charge of $ 359.40 and I dont know why? Im still waiting for my money back
