I have used this facility for nearly six months. I have always had fast friendly service. Well not today! Dedrick the manager has the worst customer service ever! When I politely asked if I could pay my bill. I got a ridiculous face that was obviously meant to appease the customer being helped. And then blatantly ignored! When there are two employees standing there. And obviously the customer being served is going to take a moment. And may I add i have been standing and walking around waiting for a line to go down for 20 minutes. Dont you think asking to pay my bill really quickly is a fair question? I moved my belongings out immediately. On the way out, and i may not have been the most polite customer by this point, I let them know my problem. You know what I got? Raised voices with lots of BS excuses. And derrick or whatever his name was wouldnt give me his name for this review. Absolute trash customer service.

Great, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and new equipment rented for a quick weekend yard cleanup job and was well taken care of from start to finish. Will use again. Definitely a great option for a truck share type situation.

I rented a specific van online. When I arrived, the woman working attempted to give me a much older van covered in dog hair. When I asked for the van I ordered, she proceeded to lie to me and say your company doesn’t carry that van and no one in town rents it either. I then said if this van is my only option, I would like a refund. At that point, a man pulled up in the van I originally tried to rent. Another woman helped me switch out and so I would have the one I originally rented with the features I had paid for. I also brought the van back with significantly less miles (they quoted me 750 for some reason but I only drove 300) and more than half a tank of gas but wasn’t refund for anything. Seems a little shady to me. Won’t be renting from you again. Thanks.

I was given a different truck at the very last second with no chance to update the paperwork, the truck had no gas in it, I couldnt be confident I would even get to a gas station. I ordered a hand truck but again at the last second was told there was one on the truck so they took the one I had and then charged me for both. So, I paid too much for equipment, too much for gas that I couldnt use in ten miles, and too much for mileage. having the general managers kids walking around and sneezing on people was totally unacceptable in this covid environment. Sending her daughter out to find trucks and keys was just not professional. It is truck rental or day care? If I cant depend on timing my move by knowing I wont have to deal with running out of gas in the first mile, then I cant be a customer. The environment is all so bad that I dont even want to go get my overcharges back.

The truck itself was perfect. The staff however gave incompetent information which ended up costing me way more money for 2 rentals instead of just 1. Plus our move soaked up the entire weekend instead of just 1 day. Staff acknowledged their mistake but declined anyway to help make up for it nor did they seem bothered whatsoever. No apology, nothing. Pretty ridiculous way to operate any type of business or treat people in general.

Here is an honest review. STAY AWAY FROM U-HAUL, and go to Penske, they have newer trucks and a great customer service.They sent us an Email guaranteeing the 10 FT truck, yet at the pickup they lied and said they wanted to upgrade us to 15 FT, which we did not want because of gas and difficulty driving through the mountains with as few as 40 boxes. This was not an upgrade this was a rip off.We spent more money on gas, driving 1100 miles, and when we asked to refund the difference, they refused and were so rude.U-Haul trucks are not reliable and their staff are rude, especially (Keri or Kerry.)Their truck almost killed us because brakes were not functioning right and the truck was so old and dirty and their blankets smelled musty.We will never ever use this company again.

Purple hair... Dont care. Eats up your time with no concerns.very bad customer service.. made mistakes with two other customers while I waited they closed, and she argued with other employees while I waited 20 minutes for a 2 dollar refund instead of just giving me the correct lock. try Budget or Penske first.. not helpful. I suggest you run. Online says available.. but its not.. however Sequoyah is helpful though .. even with purple hair yelling at her and other customers. Very rude to at least 3 people while I wait for my refund I asked to just change lock and not get 2 refund.. and giggles while I am waiting. Again.. Sequoyah was very helpful and polite despite being yelled at by purple hair. Psst #uhaulfamous

Our experience started with average if not cold service. The truck worked well and did what was needed. We had some issues when checking out, but thanks to Dedric, we were well taken care off. He was personable, capable, and was able to resolve our issue satisfactorily. Thank you, Dedric!

I went to this location helping my sister who was moving and my gosh... the service I received was phenomenal. Dedric was the gentleman who assisted me and he was friendly, polite, a great conversationalist and very informative and helpful! He told me everything I needed to know about returning and my contract. The process took about 20 minutes including walking around the truck and taking photos (As I do when I pick up rental vehicles). Not sure what is up with the rest of the reviews showing for this location but my experience was excellent! I personally would recommend this location. As this experience was during COVID-19 I was pleased to see the two reps working cleaning and sanitizing trucks. The store itself was neat and well stocked, and had opened on time. Overall two-thumbs up experience.

Horrible horrible horrible service. I was there for about an hour, only 1 person working. She was working with a family. finally someone was able to show me a unit. I was ready to rent the unit, only to be told, after an hour I needed to have a copy of a bill in my name. The young lady working there then told me she was new and her boss was on the way. she called the boss who, apparently, was no where near on the way. it is not the customers fault you can get help. This company needs to hire someone quickly. They are in a prime spot and cant handle the volume I guess. Anyway, I will never patronize this location again. Very poor service. i really dont want to give you guys 1 star - more like no stars. Maybe its not always like this because apparently some of the views have a great service from you, but yesterday was not your day. Inconsistent customer service will drive away your customers. I went about a 1 mile to another company, got a unit, NO BILL TO PRODUCE, way better service and better deal, and it is air-conditioned. Thank you

I love coming to this location, the people there are very nice and do their best to help out anyway they can. I went in not knowing what sizes truck I would need for my move and they help me figure it out. The Amber the person helping me, made sure that I got the boxes I needed for my move. Then showed me some storage units that I might need when my move is over.

I needed propane for the company I work for and I stood at the front counter for 20 minutes before anyone even said hello how you doin or anything! It wasnt like it was busy or anything it was only one other customer, then when the young lady came to my service she wasnt certified to fill the tanks witch I can respect that.. but at the same time meant me waiting another 30 minutes before the, only certified person to help me.. So uhaul train your workers on customer service skills and get them certification on propane tank filling.. now the one young lady with the nose ring was very helpful and showed a bit of concern on my taken up the company time I was wasting on getting 3 propane tanks filled. Its been a hour now and still waiting.. uhaul has been around over 50 years my boss is calling me and whats taken so long.. this is BS

Three months ago, I noticed dirt leaking from the ceiling of my storage unit on to my West Elm couch. I notified management, and they said they would take care of it. Three months later, it was still not fixed. So, I let the employee know at the front desk. She took a picture of it, and said she would text it to her manager, and call me first thing Monday morning. Lo and behold, its now two weeks later, and it still has not been fixed, after calling management and the Corporate Office every day. This business is unreliable, dishonest, and the level of unprofessionalism is absolutely appalling. I have since removed all of my belongings from the storage unit, however my couch is ruined, and I am left fiscally responsible for it.

I ordered a trailer hitch from these guys and it had yet to arrive 3 weeks after I placed the order. They told me it would only be a few days before I could pick it up, a week later I called them. They were unable to find my order and told me it would be in by the end of the week and that theyd call one way or the other. When I wasnt called, I called them but got rolled over to corporate. I told them my tale of woe and the lady I talked to said that she would get in touch with this location and have them call me about the hitch. I was never called. I gave up and went for a refund. The owner was very nice throughout the ordeal but, I shant be returning to U-Haul.

Only giving one star because i have to. I had a 20 truck reserved for today at 4 p.m. cst. I set up moving help for tomorrow morning in anticipation of having said truck. I received a confirmation number about said truck. I was then called at 3 pm cst saying that i would be able to get the truck until 12:15 tomorrow... TOMORROW! I then asked if maybe the was a bigger or house to the same size truck available, i was told sure... for 5 pm tomorrow NIGHT! I then asked how could this happen? I was told extremely rudely that i wasnt the only one that had rented that truck for that time! I them and how can you rent one truck to multiple people for the same time slot, i was then yelled at that he was trying to explain that Im not the only who rented it.... seriously??? I will never use uhaul again ever!! Ive never been so disrespected.

Downtown location offers the service of refilling propane tanks, but they have no one qualified to fill them. This is the second time we’ve had an issue with this location. The first time they tried to charge us a fee per tank that the 11th St store said was bogus. This one is closer to me, but I’ll drive the extra miles not to have to deal with this location anymore. Very poor service.

Very friendly staff and very helpful on questions.On moving out of the unit day, we had 24 hour access. The elevator acted up and I had to call the after hours number to get help. Talk to a guy named Chris. He was there within 15 minutes and fixed the problem . Thanks uhaul and Chris. We will be back if needed.

Showed up after reserving the truck on the phone, told wait time just to get the truck would take an hour if even at all. Called manager RUDE, RUDE, RUDE the store had customers waiting and the manager unwilling to address the issue. Also told by manager this happens frequently sometimes clearly the haven’t addressed over the past year since this is a frequent complaint.

Stay far away from this location. Totally unmotivated management and horrible bad rental units that look like they need to go to a junk yard. Had a truck and drove 5 miles and the gauges died..couldn’t tell how fast I was going and no horn took it back and they were out of trucks so couldn’t exchange it...they refused to refund me...they also charged me 30.00 fill up fee plus a gallon of gas to top the whole experience off! LOL!!!!
