We went in pretty late tonight knowing it was a close call on if they would have any plant based options on hand after a busy pie night at their sister bakery, Antoinette’s. Fortunately, there was plenty of chocolate ice cream left! I definitely recommend upgrading your ice cream by making a giant sandwich with these homemade cookies! There is very limited seating available but I think the idea is to grab and go. The area is very much a walking area with lots of night life.. The staff was overall very helpful and sweet. The shop was very clean. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some ice cream made in Tulsa!
So I came here a few months ago and had the lemon lavender ice cream. It was the best ice cream I have ever had and constantly think about it to this day and each time I crave it, I get upset because I live no where close to Tulsa. 10/10 ice cream.
Drove to Beatrice’s looking forward to trying some awesome ice cream. We walked in to the counter with two employees who did not acknowledge us at all. We waited a couple of minutes while they were moving the tops on the ice cream. Neither employee uttered a word to us not even a smile. We left.. poor service
Holy smokes was the waffle cone huge!!Cool little shop, upstairs was closed so we didnt get to explore much.Kids had the vegan chocolate and strawberry. They liked it!
This was my first (and last) time here. So disappointing. The ice cream was overly-sweet and left an awful aftertaste, and was barely firm enough to scoop. I paid $6 for two, two-bite scoops - this coming from someone who usually eats her ice cream with a sample-size spoon. The staff had the collective personality of a wet napkin. Now I understand why this shop is always empty.
Best ice creams (including vegan) in town by far!
While they don’t have a crazy number of flavors at any one time (8 while I was there), everything they did have was delicious. The waffle cone itself was as good as the ice cream and that is saying something!
My husband & I ordered two pints from Beatrices this week from Doordash and we loved our flavors. He had Brown Sugar Black Pepper with Grape Nuts and I had the Brown Butter. We loved it. Its a little more expensive but the flavor is super unique. Also, other ice cream seems to ve filled with air where as this ice cream was thick and rich. It was a great treat!
This place is definitely aligned with the Antoinettes baking co. feel. Its adorable and quaint. The ice cream is very artisan and theyre a small business so if you are looking for ridiculous portions go to braums or some other ice cream dump. If you want to support a local business and satisfy your vegan ice cream needs, visit here!
Great service from the people working there, the answered questions and gave an entertaining introduction. Great, high quality ice cream and with really unique flavors
Amazing!!! The cones are absolutely amazing!!! The Peanut Butter Pretzel is amazing!!! The Lemon Lavender is amazing!!!
Thx for the Awesome shop:)
Great place! Delicious ice cream!!!To counteract the irrational one star review left by someone, let me remind everyone quality over quantity. The ice cream is definitely more expensive than Braums but if you are an ice cream aficionado like I am, you expect that. The ice cream here is homemade with the best ingredients. It will obviously be more expensive because the quality of the ingredients and the time put into the process is more. It is worth it. A word of advice coming from someone who has worked at 2 different ice cream parlors (not this one): the one thing we hate the absolute most that customers do is when they complain about the price of the ice cream and compare it to somewhere else.Overall 5/5 stars! Friendly, good quality, good sizes, and most of all... DELICIOUS!!!! :)
This is a great little ice cream shop. It is my favorite place to get ice cream in tulsa
I would like to apologize to BIC Co. for the reviews by the embarrassing people who complain about the portion sizes and prices. Theres a Braums at 15th & Lewis and youre better suited going there. Beatrice is a local gem and the ice cream is delicious and the employees are beautiful people who deserve to make a living wage. There is literally zero decor other than the unique flavors and friendly people and thats all that matters.
DisappointmentLet me first say that my family is a HUGE fan of Antoinettes Bakery. For any who dont know (from what I can gather), Beatrice Ice Cream Co is a sister company of Antoinettes. Regarding Antoinettes, they have been a very important and delicious source of vegan baked goods for my plant based family.Moving on, when we learned that Beatrice Ice Cream Co was opening and would have vegan ice cream, we were very excited. By the second day of their opening, we made it over to enjoy their offering. We had frequented another ice cream shop downtown (I wont mention the name) that had vegan ice cream, and we were always well pleased. But we were excited to have another option downtown.I arrived to have a customer ahead of me in line. I saw that they were partaking of the vegan chocolate. I noted that the serving they were given was scanty. I was concerned that may be the standard but waited for my turn. They have two vegan options: chocolate and cookies and cream. The price for two scoops is $5.50 which isnt cheap but its acceptable if the dessert is worth it.I placed an order for my wife and I: I had one scoop of chocolate and one of cookies and cream. My wife had two scoops of the cookies and cream. To my dismay, the offering for us was scanty as well. As I was waiting for the scoops, the woman who appeared to be the manager and I struck up a conversation. We briefly developed a nice rapport. So, after accepting my ice cream and paying a, by comparison, hefty sum of money I ventured to the manager that the other ice cream store downtown provides more for 2 scoops. She stood expressionless, then replied by asking if I was referring to the previously unmentioned ice cream place. I said I was, and she informed me that she loved that place. After an awkward pause, I departed. On the ride home, the poor experience continued. My wife immediately remarked at the small portion. She then went on to barely force down the cookies and cream. She had several remarks which are better left unsaid. The sum of it was that the cookies and cream had essentially no flavor and a poor after taste.Again, we LOVE Antoinettes and believe that they will overcome early challenges in opening the ice cream shop. We also felt it was important to communicate the weaknesses apparent at first taste.
Great ice cream and charm. You have to have to have Brianne serve you, she is wonderful at it.
Salty Waffle. Thank me later.
The grand opening of this cool little shop did not disappoint! Unusual flavors, vegan options, fantastic staff, and a fun atmosphere. I had the Antoinette and it was as delicious as it looked on Instagram. Will definitely be back!
Just finished eating a perfect double scoop of their Peanut Butter Pretzel in a waffle cone. This place should become a must-stop for any Arts District walk. Also, ice cream sandwiches!
Unique ice cream offerings, clean store, great service
I had there chocolate from there ice cream truck and it was excellent. Prices were good and I appreciated not having to pay with cash.
Awesome Ice Cream and Wonderful Workers......
