I was visiting Tulsa & asked a police officer at the mall which was the best gun store in Tulsa? He said Tulsa Firearms on Garnett. Danny the salesman was very friendly and helpful. They have a large section of hand guns and rifles. I picked up some hard to get ammo and a couple of knives. Ill be back.GOD Bless America!!

Were fairly new to firearms and have been looking for a one-stop shop. Weve definitely found it with Tulsa Firearms! Daniel immediately made us feel comfortable, offered great tips and information, and hes a pretty funny guy! We purchased a handgun, a membership, and signed up for a class all in our first visit! I took my wife and son for a firearms safety course and was very happy with the course. They took special care with my wife to ensure that she was able to safely operate all features of her pistol and we had a great time.

They have really good customer service when you are paying for the gun, they are attentive, they listen, they are helpful. But after that it all goes downhill. Im so disappointed in the customer service after purchase, the membership doesnt even seem as valuable to me and I was so excited at first. The gentleman who answered the phone, whoever it was, has little problem solving skills and doesnt put out any effort to help. Anyway, complete bummer from this experience. I feel a little hustled.

I took the handgun class and stayed after to purchase. I found the guys to be patient with my questions and helped me make the right purchase for me. Looking forward to making regular use of the range.

Danny was absolutely amazing. I have no experience with guns whatsoever. Danny made sure that I was comfortable with what I was looking at and gave me advice on what to look for. Took their beginner gun class and learned a lot from it. They answered all our questions. Nothing was rushed and it was very fun and informative. Everyone is nice. No pushing for sales. They offer nice discounts on things and are all very nice people! Will definitely be coming back for the concealed carry class and am going to get a membership. Danny was very knowledgeable of the firearms he showed us and took his time explaining different aspects of the gun. I definitely suggest asking for him next time you are in the market for a new gun.

Tried to to see if I could shoot my gun before purchasing it but found out they dont do that at this time and that is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. The staff was real friendly but a little too persuasive, just kept pushing me to buy a specific kind of gun when I wanted another. Great store overall great gun selection too.

Great place. Thorough and respectful. Only thing I would suggest is including a “Holsters” section to be able to view them when looking at their website.

My husband and I took a class here and they did an amazing job. We also purchased our 1st gun here and everyone was extremely kind in explaining things and answering all our questions. We cant wait to come back.

My wife and I took the Handgun Fit and Safety course and it was really well done - lots of very valuable information and included the opportunity to do some target practice on the Gun Range. Dan did a really outstanding job teaching the class - very knowledgeable, very patient, and very responsive to questions. I highly recommend both this Course as well as the Gun Shop itself.

I bought two guns there last week, they are very nice and great service, but I should have done my homework. I found both guns for 50% less this week at other stores. I feel massively ripped off. My fault but just warning, don’t buy guns here.

My late brother brought me to the range and with his membership he was treated as an old friend as soon as he walked through the door (which he loved) as a non Member, I was treated even better . Great place to shoot... to take the wife and/or daughter. Wonderful selection and colorful and knowledgeable staff. You can take your Conceal/Carry training here as well as other shooting and safety courses.

The man behind the counter was extremely rude to me and my friend who came in looking to use their range. Also they are charging 50$ for a box of 50. Thats highway robbery.

I took my wife and her mother in to buy guns for home defense. Dan is THE MAN!!!! Ive been in several gun shops locally and Dan was the first one that didnt try to over sell me something I didnt need or want. He listened patiently and answered all of questions. Not once did he become frustrated with our novice knowledge (or lack there of). If you are looking top notch customer service and expert knowledge in firearms, I HIGHLY recommend you stop in Tulsa Firearms. Not only did they lead us in the right direction, but they had great advice. I was looking for a sign sauer 365, but was concerned because I had heard they were difficult for women to work. Dan showed my wife and her mom the best way to handle the weapon (with emphasis on safety) that allowed them to feel comfortable and confident with what they were doing. 5 stars is not high enough of a rating in my opinion!!!!

Staff goes out of there way to be rude and sell price gouging amno. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, buy online, or even a garage sale would be better.

First, let me say that the gentleman that was at the counter was very polite and responsive. The issue that I have is with the price gouging. I understand that the pandemic has caused prices to skyrocket, which has been passed on to the consumer. However, there is a difference between raising prices and gouging. I was in town from OKC and I figured I would poke my head in to see if they had any 5.56, 9mm, 300 BO, etc. The salesman was attentive and told me that they had .223, which was $20 for a box of PMC FMJ, which is on the high end for a retail establishment but still within the realm of reality. Then he told me that they also have frangible self defense ammo (not really the same thing) for $49.99. 50 dollars for a box of 20 frangibles. That is Cheaper-than-Dirt-level price gouging. I respect the higher prices and the two box limit, but selling a box of 20 rounds for 50 dollars just to make sure that ammo is technically available is not cool. Also, just as a side note, nothing has prices on the tags, which is super inconvenient. If Im interested in something but the tag has no price, Ill just walk away from it. Who knows - maybe its to avoid sticker shock. Personally, Ive got plenty of ammo stacked up, but the less fortunate are getting absolutely screwed right now by FFLs with a lack of sense of community and it really sucks to see.

This place doesnt want anyone to train for self defense. 1 second between shots is an actual rule here. Silly and unrealistic.... looking forward to the petulant, condescending & arrogant response from the owner.Any open and honest discussion of your policies are invited, but Im sure I wont see that.

Im arrived as a first time gun owner with NO experience. Danny listened and helped me purchase what was best for me. Then i took the Gun Fundamental class and learned a lot. Have known the brothers for years. Great guys. The range has been updated twice in that time. The membership fees are very reasonable. With trades I’ve had better deals elsewhere. Generally gun prices are a smidge higher than other places, but the service you get for a couple dollars more is superior. It’s simple. I buy from them because they have always been great to me, I absolutely enjoy the convenience of the location as well.

This is a very good place, even though I did not buy a product from this place. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. They allowed me at a accommodating price to shoot a gun. That I recently bought Within a few minutes of here. I will be back and I will recommend other people. If I didnt live so far away or what about me a year or two the gun range pass.

Walked in and just happened to have the gun I wanted. However at 689 dollars thats insane. The gun all day is max 550. How do i know? I have been in the gun biz the past 17 years owning my own shop 11 of those years in Florida. The guy then tells me that the distributor is charging them more so they have to charge more. Thats an out right lie. Never is thatmany years had any of my 10 distribtors try and charge me more.

They do not sell ammo unless you are using their range at this time. Staff was rude.

Had a great corporate team building event. Riley did a great job ensuring everyone was safe and gave very good instruction on how to accurate shoot. Most of our group had never shot a firearm before, yet Riley had everyone shooting amazingly tight groups @ 10 yards within 25 rounds. Great facility, great employees, and a ton of fun. Our team continued to talk about the experience days after the event.

I took the handgun fundamentals class with Dan. I was consistently shooting my micro compact down and left and now have corrected with hand pressure and trigger finger placement. Good general class.

I dont recommend buying anything from this business!!! I went in to buy a handgun of a particular type (XDGEN2)They sold me the wrong model (XD) and it was used and sold it to me at NEW price $200 more than what it is worth! Paid over $500 for a $300 handgun! Tried to call them back to see if they would rectify the issue and they made up every excuse in the world not to make it right, so here as my review about Tulsa firearms. Horrible business ethics!!!!

Bought a gift certificate for my wife but she couldn’t get away from the kids long enough to use it before it expired. So I come to use it before it expired and was told I could only use it for a class or a membership. They don’t tell you that when you make the purchase. Wasted $160.00. Certificate expires worthless. Great job guys! Way to go! Don’t waste your money here.

Just completed a beginner handgun course. Staff was great. The owner taught the class. He is an excellent teacher.I had only shot a pistol once before, and did hotrible. After this class, I now can handle and take care of my gun with confidence. To top it off, his simple shooting techniques took me from hardly hitting the entire target on my first 25 shots, to hitting a 10 on the last 24 shots, and one just outside and it was a 9.HIGHLY recommend !!!

I took the concealed carry class here nearly 10 years ago, and have been a member of the range ever since. This a great indoor facility for both pistol and rifle practice. Very helpful staff and a good selection of new and used firearms for sale as well.

Tulsafirearms is the most professional and safe shooting range in the Tulsa area. Every employee has military or competition shooting experience. A great place for instruction, purchasing or a special order firearm. Ive been a member for over 4 years and I have always have enjoyed the facility and the professional staff. They have a rifle and hand gun range which is ventilated and well maintained. The owner Riley Gilmore is a world champion shooter. So if youre wanting special instruction he is the clearly best one on one instructor in the area. Rileys private class will improve your shooting no matter what caliber.

Ive been forced to darken the door of this place on multiple occasions and have found the staff rude, condescending and with little knowledge of what the customer wants and needs. If you are looking for your first firearm or information about selecting your first firearm, youre time would be better spent elsewhere. I actually witnessed a guy trying to sell a custom firearm that hed had built there, back to the store owner and he was only willing to give him a quarter of what the gun had been sold to him for. Buying back their own custom made $4,000 1911 for for $1,000? No thanks!

I was impressed with my safety class given by the owner however, when looking at the guns to purchase with his employees and also asking questions on the phone as a first time purchaser. They dont want to answer your questions and if your not just ready to run in there and buy they dont want to be bothered. Terrible customer service although owner and wife were nice during my class

Went and used the range to site in a gun. Staff was friendly and helpful, not sure what these other 1 star reviews are about, my only guess is these people had no business handling yet alone firing a gun.Went back again to shoot and trouble shoot some issues I was having with a fire arm. Made some adjustments and talked with the staff and they took the time to help me get everything lined out with my custom built rifle. Great folks down there!

This gun store has limited selection on firearms and even smaller selection on accessories and cleaning supplies. The indoor shooting range needs some major improvements. They need a new air filtration system, new lighting system. If your looking for a FFL dealer to help you with a firearm transfer, this gun store will not help you. They require you to order the firearm through them. That will cost $50-100 or more, that doesnt include sales tax.2A Shooting Center on Admiral has a modern indoor shooting range.

Been about 3 times in past few months. Staff was very helpful and even took the time to help and examine an issue I had with my slide stop during a range session. They solved the problem and were very friendly along the way. Made my decision easy to purchase a membership with them going forward.

I went Tulsa Firearms, much better overall.Started at 2A Shooting on a Sunday with over an hour to close (4pm). It was crowded, it took 30 minutes to finish paper work. After completing the paper work I was told there was no time to shoot. We had 3 shooters and they didnt have any stalls open and wouldnt allow more than 2 shooters per lane. .I ended up going to Tulsa Firearms. The staff is much friendlier the paper work was much faster, they allowed 3 shooters on a lane. This was incredible because we had a first time shooting. Thank you Tulsa Firearms you rock.

Happy with this range. Helpful, friendly staff. Accommodating.When they are really busy, it seems a lack of organization shows a little, but overall they really are doing their best. When they arent too busy, and you have questions or need assistance, they ALL jump in and help out and you get a lot of professional knowledge for whatever you need. Normally I have access to other ranges, but needed to test a repaired pistol and didnt want to drive to them. Used TF 25 years ago and was always pleased. I rang as soon as they opened and staff were friendly and answered my questions. I showed up, paid my money to a helpful woman, went on the range and did my business without a problem. It is what I expect of an indoor range. A little surprised by the negative reviews and wonder what those folks were actually expecting?
