Disgusted. Beware!! I have never done a review in the 28 years of my life I went recently to sell a Necklace wish I knew for a fact it was 14 carats gold. Whenever the security guard did his test he says its 10K that’s when I said no it’s 14. He was in process of doing the other test where he rubs the metal add pours some type of acid & told me “ well this test telling me Its 14k let me run first test again Oh It iS 14 karats” SCAM. Last time I went to Sell 14 karat Jewelry, they told me it was 10 it was stamped 14 I ended up selling it for 10 carats. I had a strong gut feeling that they were lying after i sold it” scam . Beware!!

Don’t go there they will rip you off. They told me they’d pay 10 cents under or over spot price for silver. At the time it was $16. I brought my pure Troy silver coins in. They gave me cash. No receipt. Later on I counted up the ounces I gave them only to discover they only paid me $15 an ounce. But there was no way to prove it.

If you dont come in this place on a weekly basis and sell coins, they really have no problem just leaving you standing, waiting, or just flat walking away and never coming back to you. I found your competition out in South Tulsa my new selling spot. Friendly, professional, and safe.

I do not recommend using this place to sell your precious metals, coins or currency. The gentleman I dealt with was rude and dishonest. Told me that he bought 10 cents below spot but offered me much less below spot and rounded down on the change of each transaction. Educate yourself before you deal with this place. You would be much better selling on eBay and putting vultures like this out of business.

I had never sold gold before, but did my homework beforehand. I was only selling one ring (no diamonds) of 14K gold, so not really a big deal, but I still wanted to get as much as I could. I stopped by a local jewelry store on the way and watched them weigh the ring at 2.79 grams.I was greeted immediately and the clerk took the ring and weighed it behind the counter. He returned in a few seconds and told me it was 14K gold, and they would pay $30 for it, saying that todays rate was $15 per gram. I then asked if he could explain how they come up with their rate at which they buy gold, to which he responded 15 times two is 30. I asked him to re-weigh the ring, knowing it should weigh much more than 2.0g. He did so, and reported that one of their scales read 2.4g and the other read 2.6g. He did not give a straight answer when I asked why he told me it weighed 2.0 g just a few minutes ago.I continued to ask about their rate of $15 per gram. He couldnt tell me anything more than it is based on the price of gold, which I already knew, but he did offer to ask his manager if he could get me a better rate. They did finally offer me a better rate after I showed that I knew what I was talking about, but I still felt like the store was shady, so I left and went elsewhere. The clerks that helped me were impatient and rude with me when I asked questions, which made me uncomfortable doing business there.I ended up getting $48 at another Tulsa gold buyer (I have written a review about them also), which is 60% more than the first offer of $30.

I shopped around various locations in Tulsa and Tulsa Gold & Silver not only paid me the most, they were the nicest, most customer friendly folks in Tulsa. I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future. PLUS, they have beautiful jewelry for sale!

I have dealt with Tulsa Gold & Silver a few times and all I can say is the staff was very professional and extremely helpful. They let me know that one of the items I was selling was worth more because of rarity than price of scrap. They could have taken advantage of me but didnt. I will only do business with Tulsa Gold & Silver in the future.

Talk to a man in the jewelry section who told me my coins were worth less than I knew they were. But while looking around in the coin section another man talked to me and looked at my coins and gave me almost $20 more will go back good overall experience

****UPDATE**** A little behind the ball on this; so sorry. I went back in the next morning, and saw the same guy I had been doing business with the night before; I had come in literally 5 minutes before closing time and so everybody was in a rush, but he remembered me and swapped out for the correct coin without any hassle whatsoever. The Gold marketplace can be pretty shifty, and usually once you leave with something the deal is done o take backs; but since it was an honest mistake and these guys are honest everything came out ok... Thank god I would have been pretty frustrated had I been shorted a half ounce of gold.You gotta watch these guys, a couple years ago they sold me a 1oz gold coin that had a .1 gram sliver missing; and today I went in there and bought a few gold coins, and when I got home and took second look at them I noticed that one of them was 1/2 an ounce and not a full! It was right before closing so I will have to return in the morning to see if they will make it right or not. I will update the review after that time.

Been there a few times for coin holders and outher supplies. They have a lot to offer and are worth a visit if you need anything and or have something to sell.

Went in with 33 grams of gold . the mexican guy weighed it and tols me there was 12 g of 10k and 9 g of 14k. Which is only 21 g was in a hurry so i accepted and left to pay bills. Later i realized that was not 33 but they were closes. I went the next day to resolve aske d to see my reciet and there waa also 18k they wouldnt pay for the other 12 g of gold i wasnt told of or the portion that was 18 k. They offered to sell it back but i had to use the money on bills. I just wanted the difference of what i was cheated put of . im sure this has happened to others. There are spme workers in there that are honest but i would watch closely if you take things there. They will tey to ripp you off.

If you think about selling your scrap gold or silver to these people...PLEASE do your own research first. Take you gold or silver to a jewler and have them weigh it first. The scales at this establishment are always off, and the fact they weigh everything behind the counter where you cannot see, in itself is shady. They work on commission and will try and undercut you if you dont know any better. I will never go there again and will sell my scrap on ebay where I get a way better price for it. They offer you based on the paper price of silver and gold which as everyone should know by now is nothing but lies traded at multiples of 100 times the underlying physical. So for every 1 ounce of silver there is 100 people that have a contract that says they own that ounce.

They will spend as much time on you as you need to make you understand silver and learn as much as possible
