This store has many tables to play board games on or run D&D sessions. They have a modest selection of board games, figurines, and dice to purchase. They carry magic the gathering card packs and other collectable card games Im not familiar with. Theyve got a lot of card and dice storage options for purchase and they have a very nice snack and drink selection. The owner is very friendly and the store is spacious, well lit, and clean. Its a very nice place to spend an evening playing board games.

Overpriced singles and the staff ignore you. Also, dont go here and hope to have a normal conversation because there are always D&D campaigns happening where everyone yells instead of normally talking in this small store. I will say that the main positive is that this store is close to Fat Guys burgers.

My first time here. Wanted to check out the local tcg store. Cards were decently prices. A little over market value but hey, I get it. Bought a few cards but would’ve bought more but felt rushed. All he kept asking was “do you know what you’re looking for?” I answered yes but still would like to see what they have. Most cards that are kept in binder don’t have a price tag, so I kept asking for prices on cards and he walked off rudely like he didn’t want to check prices. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever.

Had stopped in previously to find out if they had gaming tables available for Dungeons and Dragons. They have a good turn out for Magic the Gathering and other Tabletop Card Games. We played in the afternoon to avoid the crowd for our game. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The snack selection was good, and the prices reasonable for a game shop. :)Overall we had a great time, and were looking forward to playing there again.

Place has horrible trade in value, you will get better prices at Dice Addiction and other places. Store owner was rude and didnt seem to want to help at all when I was there a few days ago.

Stopped in to see what its like, July, 2021. Nice store, clean with several gaming tables. They also have a large area for video games. I stood in the center of the store, in front of the counter, and about 12 feet from the door, for over 7 minutes. Not one single person looked me in the eye or spoke to me. Additionally, I dont even know if employees have certain shirts or name tags to identify themselves or to ask for help. Horrible experience, will never be back!

Theyre trying to make people wear masks rather they want to or not. NOT!!! Our Governors already dropped the mandate himself a few months ago and even the mayor is on his side saying its not really necessary yet they want to make it mandatory, anyways...so dissapointed in this place. In case they havent noticed theyre losing alot of business from what was their main customers because of it. My Son and other locals has not only dropped off because of it but are considering not ever going back!!!

Message them using Facebook ask the hours. Said they would be open till 10. I finally was able to make it there around 9. Walked to the door locked. 3 employees inside one finally came to the door said they were closing early because of no one coming in. I understand that but I messaged them about a hour before that. One asked if I want to come in and look. I replied with I know what I want if you dont mind me coming in. Get in to be treated as if I was a burden on them to have to sell me something. Not a good experience. I would have bought more items but after the way the employee spoke to me in the tone he had I was only going to get one thing. Normally I would have just left and found somewhere better. But Ill will put up with rude people for my kids. Will not be returning after this experience from a business.

I am do glad that I found this shop a couple of years ago.STAFF are amazing! Everyone is friendly and open. Dan has been very great to my wife and I. Staff are very knowledgeable.PARKING is good, there is always parking near the front of the building.PRODUCT is always stocked and organized. Events are fun and good for all ages.My only grip for Dragonslayer is the store is small. I really wish they could expand, but I know that cant happen.

Dragonslayer is a pretty nice place, the people there are generally very helpful. They are quite pedantic about everyone wearing masks, though.

Ive been coming here since the store opened. Daniel is extremely friendly to his customers, and is more generous than most shop owners in this field. He also tries his best to handle problematic customers without making things worse, but sadly some people cant help but act like children when theyre told no(you only need to look at the 1 star reviews to find these people).Best place to play in Tulsa, period.

Ive known the owner for a while now. He is a nice guy. This was my first visit there and I bought some Magic boosters from him. The store was clean and there was a Magic tournament happening. The selection of product here is small. There is Magic and Yugioh, a small selection of retro games, and a small selection of non-hasbro, non-milton-bradley board games. No miniatures. I do not know anything about the video game lounge he offers, but it is there and there appeared to be a decent selection of soda and snacks. It was clean and surprisingly quiet. Despite the selection, it is worth going back.

Best selection of MTG singles and the best price of any store I have been to. Fridays are always well attended for modern, standard, and draft. Sunday commander also usually has a good turnout. Staff are helpful and friendly, same with most of the customers and players. Overall good store.

Not a bad place. Smells a little funky. They could use a good shampooing of their carpets. Overall just a good cleaning would help make if more comfortable. If your living in Tulsa and want to participate in a smash tournament, go here. There are always tournaments for smash games, card games and more going on here. The community is pretty big and everyone is so friendly! If you ever need help with anything, there will always be someone there to help you. Overall a fun place to go to on The Weekends.

This is a great spot for Magic: the Gathering players. They have a great snack bar selection, but youre still allowed to bring in outside food/drink. Their toilets are clean too, which cant be said about another game store in the community (rhymes with Hot Peck Dames). If youre looking for an MtG draft night then join this community!

Only place I know of in Tulsa that host magic the gathering commander nights every Wednesday, first off it’s my favorite style of play, second off it’s free!! I just sat down with a group and played! Super great! Though to make things even better the store owner randomly gave everyone a free promo card for coming in. Truly a great experience and planning to go up every Wednesday now. It’s become one of my pleasures I look forward to after a hard work week.

The owner is a really cool guy who knows just an insane amount about cards and trading card games. He is also super nice. Besides that the store has the best prices I personally have found on magic the gathering cards. And the commander days have a decent turn out. I havent played yet I group commander there just because the time hasnt lined up yet but I really love this place, I would give it an extra star if I could.

Very friendly environment. I have only been a few times, but I really like the shop. Layout is spacious there are tons of friendly people around and there are a variety of things to do. The owners has been very fair with trades and are generally laid back (which I like the most). My kids love it too, they have a video game lounge, computer area, board games for days and people bring their own games to play too. So far I have seen, Force of Will, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, all the way to the silly fun game apples to apples. The merchandise is unique from what Ive seen in other places. Highly recommend this store.

Ive been going to this store off and on for almost two years when i could come in to play. theyve been friendly and the atmosphere is good. But recently the owner accused me of stealing and lying and I wont go back or recommend this store any longer. It was very odd of him because he has been friendly in the past but the experience was so appalling it truly has ruined this stores good name.

This place has awesome merchandise, multiple tournaments for different card games and video games (including Magic. The gathering, super smash brothers, etc.) The staff is very knowledgeable about all things gaming. They also have a gaming lounge where you can play games there for a monthly club fee, or by session. Overall, a great place to play card games and board games, and to meet new people to play with.

This is a great game store. They have weekly video game and Magic the Gathering tournaments here. You can also just sit down and play some card/board games with your friends if you want. They have a good selection of Magic singles to choose from as well.

Amazing place to Hangout or compete with other gamers. Only $3 To play a console for the day or $5 for an hour on the Computers. Or for infinite play on both for a year grab a membership if you plan to visit often and quickly see its worth returned for the better. They also have a cheap snack bar with drinks, snacks, and chips. If you love gaming and want to do it with others this is the place to visit!

Checked this place out yesterday for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was fine until all the card players started rolling in and I don’t want to be rude but they might need to implement a Bathing, Laundry and deodorant policy cause the place was almost unbearable to sit in once all these folks started to show up. It was like Armpit and butt sex all rolled in to one. On the bright side Once you sit in it awhile you get used to it..... Tim and the rest of the staff were great and really helpful. The room and the business is clean and well kept. I will definitely go back but if there’s anyway to fix the issue with people coming in without showering or using deodorant it would be much appreciated.

To their credit, DSG has at least two or three games (MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Pokémon) prominently featured in their store. So “games”, plural, is fitting. But it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. Most game stores I’ve been to have a large selection (dozens) of board games, miniatures, card games, accessories, etc. However, what DSG does, they do well. They have tournaments a few times a week that are across multiple formats (many shops only doing standard or modern), they are super knowledgeable about their product, and for what my opinion is worth, it’s been clean and well organized when I’ve visited. As a new MTG player, Daniel took time to walk me through the basics and he even helped with the construction of my first deck. I’ve gone back multiple times since and built my collection almost exclusively with DSG. I understand that sometimes he gets distracted, but if you could see how many people he has to deal with at once, and how long it takes an average customer to choose items/ask questions, you’d understand why he has to split his attention. I’ve seen customers take over an hour of his time (myself included) in order to purchase multiple cards. He’s extremely knowledgeable and you’re almost always guaranteed that he’ll know what they have in stock (which is tens of thousands of cards in hundreds of boxes in the back room). I’ve seen comments saying he’s unhelpful, but he’s run to the back dozens of times in a single card-buying session for me in order to see if they had any inventory that he may have missed on his first pass, so I have the feeling those comments are untrue. The crowd is typically friendly (to the point of being a little much at times, but they mean well) and will always offer to help new players make card-buying decisions and learn different formats for different games. Additionally, they do card pricing better than any other shop in Tulsa (IMO). They sell lower and give a larger amount of cash/store credit than a lot of shops I’ve seen. Overall, I’ve had an excellent experience here, and should the day come that they decide to have a full-blown board game/miniatures selection....I would not like to be a certain other game store near 71st and Mingo....because DSG may just put them out of business!

I’ve been playing games in this area for quite a few years now and after the shop I frequented closed down, I tried Dice Addiction, Wizard’s Asylum and Dragonslayers and was by far the most impressed with Daniel’s shop. He keeps the atmosphere light with a heavy hand on anything that would kill the vibe. Absolutely would recommend to beginner or advanced gamers.

BOTH of the workers were a quite rude when I asked for a welcome deck and was refused in a really awkward way. Selection as far as cards is a 2 out of 5 with their selection of board games being a flat 0 out of 5. The ONLY silver lining is the other customers are extremely friendly. Its decent fun to play a game of magic here, but interactions with the staff sucks.RESPONSE TO OWNER: well Ive been playing since March and still learning so if thats considered new then sure, but I wouldnt consider myself new. Ive gotten welcome decks from here before so not sure how new this policy may be. While its cool you demo the game for new or returning players (I assume you demo for returning players), its not putting anyone out being able to give a single deck to a person who asks. Maybe consider haveing 2 of each set aside for demoing and just give 1 per customer for everyone else who asks. As of now Im looking for a blue welcome deck to finish this set (as I said in store I collect the welcome decks). Regardless its not the best feeling being so close to finishing and not really being told no but being expected to just stand there for 15-20 awkward seconds just to tell you guys well guess Ill leave. A concise no would have been more appropriate then what happened.Just sayin

The staff are friendly and will answer questions. The store is clean and organized. However, it lacks products. The main sell point is tournament play. They also do Twitch Streams. If this place would sell more products I would be willing to go there more often.*UPDATE*After participating in the Ravinica Allegiance Pre-release, I am impressed. There was a huge turnout for two-headed giant and all the players were friendly. Staff were approachable and always willing to help. The only thing keeping me from giving a five star is not even store related but player related... The smell. Bad body odor. Could be from having over 40 people in a medium size store, but still. It was bad. But will be coming back more often.

This place smells like old sweaty balls mixed with the ever so subtle essence of vomit. Not to mention that the service is available only to certain people. Cards are over priced. Staff are rude if you dont know everything about what you are looking for, which makes buying gifts painfully difficult. I would Not recommend this establishment to anyone, there are many different card shops that are happy to work with you and figure out what you need.Dont go save yourself trouble.

Awesome place. I took part in a fighting game tournament during my first visit. Clean store, nice setup, all the people there were friendly and cool. Definitely going to return to play more fightin vidyas when possible.

One of the best, if not the very best place in Tulsa to play Magic. Prerelease events are always packed and FNM gets off the ground every week. Theres a large group of Modern, Commander and Draft players and while the Standard group is smaller events still nearly always fireThe store also has large groups of tabletop players in on a regular basis and videogame consoles set up for tournaments and casual play alike. Theyre a really cool store and Im proud to call them my LGS

Staff is super friendly. We came in while an event was happening and was still able to get support from staff with great recommendations both for what they had in stock as well as another store for what we were looking for.

I went back into Dragonslayer games and talked to Daniel about the situation, and he couldnt have been nicer about everything and we both apologized to each other.. This guy works literally every single day this place is open, and is super knowledgeable about everything he deals with in the store!!! He even knows a little bit about dryers.. (inside joke) lol I will totally be coming back to Dragonslayer games in the future!!! Thanks again Daniel for talking to me about it..

Horrible service, I went looking for singles and was ignored by the owner for 45 min. before I just took the hint he didnt want my business, when talking with other card players it seems that this is a common thing for Daniel to do. It was also mentioned that hes asleep in his office often instead of helping his customers. I will never shop here or play here and I suggest you think twice as well.

This place is awesome for table top games and he has a very great computer set up for online gaming.

The guys behind the counter were friendly enough, but their stock is pretty lacking. They had one small stand for board/card games, while the other side was set up with pop culture figures (Funko Pop or something similar.). There was some role-playing stuff on a spinner rack (D&D and Pathfinder), then a few retro games in a glass case and some CCG supplies (packs, singles, sleeves), but that was it. As someone who plays regularly at my own FLGS, I try to pick something up at one when Im out of town to support the hobby, but there wasnt much to choose from. Im sure that they could order something if you really wanted it, but its important to have stuff on hand for impulse buys and the like. One solid day of sales could pretty well pick them clean.

The store offers Monday night standard, Tuesday night modern, and other casual events for MTG, as well as FNM. This store is great for any nerd/geek.
