Why did I rate this Hotel with a five star( 5⭐)!? Due to the fact that it doesnt make much to make me happy & I really dont complain that much about nonsense that really doesnt matter to me like most people do today, You see, I was the total exact opposite about staying here, I am blessed & highly favored & always had that belief instilled in everything I do, but on a day to day scale. You see, I am homeless & I was rescued by a guy named Joshua & he along with Mrs. Julienne Kitten & a Company called, Housing Solutions & a team full of Awesome people who volunteered their time & effort to provide us with everyday issues & help the homeless population of Tulsa with the resources, to get back up on our feet & gently back into society, So the government provided some funds for the Covid-19 pandemic & what a better way of utilizing these funds, At the same time providing the homeless population of Tulsa a way we can quarantine also as well, I have signed up for getting vaccinated tomorrow, Iam actually excited & nervous about it at the same time! Plus since arriving to this Hotel, I have understood what Housing Solutions goals & why they thrive on helping the homeless like they are doing is because they care about getting the homeless population of Tulsa housed, they are not giving us a hand out, This is a hand up! They are providing us with shelter, food, & somewhere to take a shower & a place to sleep without being scared to close our eves cause were scared about what would happen if we let are guard down cause were living outdoors or that so called buddy that says you could stay the night at their place with the understanding that you gotta pay them with some form of payment with drugs or alcohol, which then isnt a good place to be cause you just caused yourself with a unstable environment to be getting any rest due to the fact that you have no self esteem left from always being mad at yourself for being in this situation, dealing with other people that actually are in the same boat as you, that you lost yourself in the situation that you dont recognize where you ended up saying to yourself, Well if ya cant beat them, Might as well join them! When in actuality, You might have been better off sleeping outside & saved your money, Now on top of everything else that I am fighting on keeping somewhere to lay my head & at same time, I am a drug addict trying to hide from that, at the same time, I am mad at myself for getting like this that I feel like I deserve this kind of lifestyle cause ahh goody thats what I get! So then Im stick in a rut, but not anymore, I have got potential, I have found that theres not just me out there alone, theres lots of others just like me & so I know that Im not alone! Theres others just like me & I see that they have what it takes to be a member to society just like me, Housing Solutions has provided me with the basic necessities, So I can focus on the other issues of why I became homeless like I did in the first place & that is why I am not complaining one bit, I am working on myself & taking some time looking outside my own box, Everyday I am learning something new & I have figured out that my box can lose its edges if I dont look at it & ignore it likebI used to do before cause pretty soon my box easily turns into a circle in no time & thats where it can roll downhill pretty quickly & you are in no way prepared to chasing it cause it goes so fast that you never know it was even mishaping like that in the first place cause you stopped looking & checking outside your box, years ago! With that mentality, No wonder it took off & ran from me, I would to if I treated myself like that to, So this is me finding myself & getting rid of the old me & developing a new Me! Thank you, Housing Solutions! I like the new Me & I can wait to start showing me off, I have my own place, I now care & you still wont hear me complaining about nothing yet cause Im too busy being the new me!

If I could give zero stars I would...before I start my list of issues I do want to say that the poor guy at the front desk was polite and made an effort to fix things, however his resources are limited due to the overall condition of the hotel. The first room we were assigned was already occupied so we had to go all the way back downstairs with all of our bags to get another room. The hallways are filthy, the hotel smells like mildew and cigarettes, our room smelled so bad we bought candles to try to cover the smell. Our AC didnt work, the toilet took multiple attempts to flush, the little fridge was leaking all over the floor, the fire alarm sounded every time the bathroom light was turned on, the bathroom had hair everywhere, and the hotel was full of screaming kids and swearing adults. I cleaned the bathroom and then took a shower. Big mistake. No ventilation in the bathroom. So the room was even more humid and hot. My daughter and I were so hot and thirsty we decided to go get ice...ice machine was dismantled. I was done trying to stick it out at this point. Called the front desk. The guy said they have issues with the air so he would put us in a completely renovated room on the 10th floor. What does that bring to mind? So we packed all of our stuff went back downstairs, got a new room key and drug all of our stuff back to the 10th floor. Key cards didnt work. While daughter went back down I went looking for ice, we were both sweaty and dehydrated at this point. Another dismantled ice machine. Threw our stuff in the room and went down to ask for water/ice. He knew all the ice machines were broken (didnt bother to mention that the first time I complained) and said i could get ice in the bar. They dont provide any kind of bottled water, just soda. So I got ice from the bar. Went to the room...shower was broken, toilet still took multiple flushes, fridge was broken, bathroom had hair and mold everywhere again even on the ceiling. Nothing in the completely renovated room was new. It was after 10 PM at this point so we just crashed. Went down stairs in the morning to get our free breakfast the guy at the front desk offered us as an apology. The hostess had a long list of people who were getting free breakfast that morning and every time we went to the desk there was someone else there complaining about their room as well.
