This is usually my go to Pharmacy. Today the Pharmacist Jeromy refused to give me my flu shot because he “didn’t have time” and requested that I come back later. It is alarming that a fellow healthcare provider would deem my request not as important as other requests. He sent the gentleman away that was in line in front of me also. Doesn’t seem like a great way to run a business or provide customer service.
I was always under the impression that a pharmacist was a health professional, who filled the role of dispensing medication that came in from medical doctors and nurse practicioners -who are both uniquely trained & highly specialized. That being said, the pharmacist at 61st & Yale decided NOT to fill my wifes prescription, due to the fact that it came from a nurse practitioner.
I have always had a pleasurable experience. Staff helpful and friendly. Store clean and appealing. My favorite Walgreens for racking up points.
Very close to the hospital which is convenient when you have forgotten thongs for a stay you didnt realize you were having. For the most part everyone is well informed and friendly. The options are sometimes limited but great.
Well stocked
The shift manager Jeri needs a promotion and raise. She is amazing and a hard worker!
