Wife was told they closed at 7 and then I showed up at 6:15 and Serena was at the front desk staring at me but telling me that my wife was wrong and nobody told her that. She said they close at 6. She then said it’s past 6. I explained I knew what time it was. I wasn’t sure why she felt it was necessary to be some hateful over the phone. I wasn’t confrontational. She never even made eye contact with me the entire time I was outside. I even called my wife to verify she wasn’t told differently. Good customer service would have been to apologize and try to find a resolution. She just kept her back to me as I stood at the front door in the rain. Customer service is important. Clearly Serena doesn’t have any invested interest in the store and it’s customers. She is hourly and she was clocked out. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but you are who you surround yourself with. Not the best person to be the first fave you see at your store.

Needed an emergency dress for the 3 year old. Got it, shoes and some back up sneakers for $12. Nice gals behind the desk.

Ive been to several of these stores before. I was disappointed with some of the quality of the items they took in at this one. Some of the shoes I looked at were garage sale quality at best, and Id have been reluctant to ask $1, they were marked down to $4. Great selection, but really check what youre getting because they dont do very good quality control.

Great store and prices as far as customer service, horrible even the manager or leader has been rude every single time I come in, you can see the attitude from a mile away . I have a couple mom friends that have been and told me they had a similar experience. yeah no thanks . once upon a child do better for your store.

I was glad to know she took the time to find out what happen and so she can make it right.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Tried to sell here twice now !! I have drive 2hrs one way!! First time the lady was soooo rude !!! She told me they ONLY did appointments!!! And thats no what the phone message says when calling !! So wasted that trip !!! Then the second time they said they could get me in a a time but I could bring it early. So I did!! And than came back 3hrs later and STILL NOT DONE !!!! And did I mention I LIVE 2 HOURS AWAY !!! So now still waiting !! Ashley was there and very helpful but the other 2 ladies were sooooo rude !!! I would NOT recommend selling here !!! Nothing but a headache!!!

Great prices on most stuff. Found $1.50 summer tops & 4th 9f July kids clearance items. Yet, the staff could definitely be friendlier. Otherwise theyd have 5 stars.

Went in to sell 3x and they would not take my stuff. First time we have to much to go through not enough people, come back. 2nd time, we are already at our capacity. Clean, layed out, even in the right container, like they ask. 3rd time they tell me my license is expired and they can’t take it because they are under pawn shop laws….Ridiculous, made my appt for my real id back in may & they couldn’t get me in until sept. If cops are not penalizing us for not being able to get them I’m sure you would be ok for letting me sell my stuff. Dumb decision. I spend hundreds of dollars in this store yearly. Not anymore.

First time getting out in public due to current circumstance so I was excited to go here with my child and then encounter this very negative experience. I will be going to Children’s Orchard from here on out.

I love this place. I always sell and do an in store exchange or credit for what I sold. I’ve always found pretty cute stuff and a lot with tags you just have to do some searching to find the good stuff for a good price. I read a lot of reviews where people complained about rude staff but they have always been so sweet to me. I also read a lot of reviews about the buy counter not paying much but to be fair you are selling all in one place and don’t have the hassle of selling online. Overall I think it’s a pretty cool place and I’ve been coming here for almost three years now!

Does Not have good customer service at all I went in there to sell about 30 toys and they went small toys and they were in great condition and they tried to give me $35 for all of it. And I told them can I get some help taking back to my car bc I had my baby with me and they said no we are to busy I looked around they was about 5 people in there and about 10 employees so another customer helped me and then the ended up buying stuff from me. They bought most of it and they paid more then what that store would of given me. This is the second time this has happened to me and Im not happy with them at all they are extremely rude, customer service sucks I really dont think Ill ever go back there again. I work in Customer service and Ive worked in it for 10+ years and they way they treated me is not good at all!!!

I would recommend you let your clients know that the bathroom are off limits. Yesterday I took my 3 year old son to buy some clothes for him and he needed to go to the bathroom, the bathroom was closed. When I asked if I could use the restroom the staff told me that the bathroom was off limits. I had to drop everything and run to Big Lots (they had their bathrooms open and cleaned). I felt so guilty because my son could not hold his pee and he peed in his pants. As a customer it is so inconvenient that your restrooms are off limit. But I learn my lesson I will not go shopping there again, instead I will go shopping to a more kid friendlier clothes shopping store.

They offer a decent selection of clothing, but their buy counter is a joke. I have bought things from here, my kids never wore them, brought them in and they reject that exact item. I have also brought up 100s of dollars worth of baby items such as brand new toys, exspensive bouncers, etc and be offered literally next to nothing. If taking them clothes I carefully pick through and make sure nothing has stains or tears and is freshly laundered, folded and organized. They will still say the same thing they do to everyone: they cannot buy due to stains, holes, etc. They have even seperated sets to just buy say the shirt or the pant out of it. They make zero sense and honestly lost my business. Youd be better off taking your resell items to a different platform if you actually want your money worth from them.

Heres a suggestion for the store.Fire all the workers and start over.Hire people that are humble and have respect. Very rude workers!

Hannah was terribly rude and didn’t help my mother and I at all. I asked for a recommendation and she dismissed me completely, making me feel like I shouldn’t spend my money. I was in the area shopping for a relative’s shower and decided to leave because of the poor service. I also felt really unsafe because no one was wearing masks. Won’t be returning.

Hannah was incredibly rude, I went to get gifts for a friend and was given NO help, when I asked for suggestions I was passively brushed aside, making me not want to purchase anything, the staffs refusal to wear their masks properly was incredibly disconcerting, and I felt unsafe in the store because of this. DEFINITELY WILL NEVER RETURN. I would rate lower if I could.

I have bought/sold at this store many times & have always had a great experience!!! I have sold many, many tubs of my children’s clothes, and have always received a fair price. You cannot beat that they hand you cash (& the fact you don’t have to wait on them to go through your items to sell!) Additionally, it’s so easy to sign up for their rewards system and earn coupons for % off future purchases. The store is organized extremely well, and it’s so easy to go to the size you need and find clothes that you like. I really appreciate that they color code their clothes - makes it so easy when trying to make sure we have tops/bottoms that match! The employees are always very helpful & kind to me & my daughter. Highly recommend!!

I love this store for both shopping and selling old clothes of my kids. I was going in to shop and figured I’d bring a small container of my kids old stuff since I was going anyways. They offered me $100 cash and didn’t even take half the bin of items. I love that they are so organized and typically only take good condition and quality items. I have found so many amazing, high end clothing items here. I love their selection of headbands and they have an awesome selection of shoes. The toys are clean and well kept and the entire store is so clean and organized which is unusual for a consignment shop. I will definitely be bringing our kids old clothes here! I also love shopping for holiday outfits here. They put them right out front organized by size so it’s easy to find what you need.

Always nice and neat and makes shopping so enjoyable. The employees who go through your belongings to see if it meets criteria are fast and fair .

Horrible! Took a huge bin of all Abercrombie and North face clothes some still with tags, and a $200 jacket that had never been worn. $26 for all. I will never go back to them. I had heard nothing but good things about them. Yet I’m severely disappointed.

I love OUAC! I come here sometimes and only find one or two specific things in looking for but then some times I find SO MUCH we need and want! The trick is to come often since everything changes every day. The prices are great and the employees are always so friendly!

I would give them 0 stars if i could. Worst place to sell children clothing, they will literally give you nothing near to what your stuff is worth. They tried to offer me $10 for a brand new baby bassinet. They wont even offer you the bare minimum. Go to uptown resale in Broken Arrow you will be more pleased.

Love coming to once upon a child to shop or consign! We can find a few items every time for my daughter. They also give you money for your unwanted clothes so if you need a little extra cash def go here. Sometimes you dont get a whole lot depending on what you bring but its always been helpful even if we just bring a box we get atleast 20-30 for everything in it.

I could spend all day in this cozy little shop! It has everything you would need to care for a child. Clothes, shoes, underclothes, toys, the whole 9 yards. My daughter and I were only going to brouse but I couldnt resist buying for my granddaughters especially at those super prices! If youre looking for gently used items this is the place to visit! I dont think one would be disappointed.

I was researching all Consignment Stores in Tulsa and I was a bit worried about Once upon a Child due to some of the bad Reviews. I emailed the Store to ask how things work and got a super fast nice and very helpful Response! I wish someone would delete these FALSE bad Reviews because they are not true at all! Everybody in the Store is very friendly and helpful. I got very good money for all the things I brought in. Today I went and bought some clothes for my daughter and they have great prices on Gap jeans and other name brand Clothing. I can only recommend going to this store!!!

Every time I’ve came here to buy or sell clothes the workers have been rude. They wont help you. I stood there for 30 minutes at the register while 3 workers just stared at me and talked about how I was standing there waiting to be helped. So I was definitely seen. I don’t recommend this place one bit.

Definitely check them out if you have babies and young children, though they do have clothing for older children. Loads and loads of clothing, very reasonably priced for those pinching pennies. Lots of other baby related items, which dont tend to get used very long, so they are in good condition.

Love this place... If they are selling items for a very low price they cant pay you a fortune for yours... Come on people get real.. This store has to make some profit to keep open and to be able to keep providing great deals on quality clothing. Some people crack me up with unrealistic expectations.

This place is packed full of quality clothes at super cheap prices. I love taking my kid in there and telling her she can get whatever her heart desires. She got 15 things for 45 dollars.

I was referred here by friends and was pleasantly surprised! It was clean and nicely organized, and I was able to find some beautiful dresses for my infant daughter for special occasions we were attending. Im going back soon to get more clothing for her since their prices and quality are GREAT.

I have absolutely grown to love this place! Unlike others it doesnt limit the amounts you get back due to having a limit per day that you can be paid! I have stop going to other places because I certainly get more money for more things. Not limited to $55 each time I come in! They are honest and completely fair when it comes to paying you! Not only do they pay great, the prices are exceptionally low for the name brands you would spend crazy money in the other stores new! I shop here and I am also one of those who pays crazy money in those others stores too. Not only are their prices great but they also have a rewards program! They get 5 thumbs up from me!

Awesome place to grab kid clothes for cheap. The shoes are sometimes worth looking at, but not always. Regardless, it is hard to beat kids t-shirts (often namebrand) for short of $4.

Nice party supply shop. We visited because it said they have halloween. They did have some halloween decor and costumes, but not much. Comparatively, to the other shops in the area. But for basic party supplies, this would be an excellent store.

Terrible experience. First time I went to sell items, the employees were very rude. After waiting for hours, I finally received text that my offer was ready. When I got there, they gave me back 95% of my items and offered me a few dollars for the items they wanted. I refused their offer because it was well under what I considered fair.Decided to give them a second chance. Once again employees were very rude from the moment I entered store. I was first in line and had only a small tub of clothes. They said 30 minutes. One hour later I received text, went to store, and was once again handed back 95% of my stuff. Their excuse for not wanting them was too much love, stains, and older styles. There were no stains, everything I brought was like new condition, and brands like Guess, Levis, and childrens place. The items i brought were in much better condition that most of what they had for sale in their store. So waste of time!!! There are other resale shops in town that treat you fair and whose employees arent rude.

I would give this place 5 stars because they have a great selection but I bought a stroller there and left my old one for them to purchase. They said they Were busy and would get back with me via text the next day on their offering price and had me leave my stroller there. Never got a text and when I went back the next week when was the first time we had off, they said they got rid of our stroller and that it was our fault for not coming sooner and never paid us a dime for it. When we asked for compensation they refused and said it must have been donated to somewhere for being in shabby condition. In reality the one we bought from them the same day was actually in worse condition than our old one being dirtier and missing parts but we bought it because it was a double stroller and it was only $70 vs hundreds in a store. So thats pretty shady.

I have shopped here for my daughter for years. Today was the first time I have brought clothes in. I was disappointed with the attitude of the associates. They were borderline rude and not helpful in general. I was not aware of the process(maybe I should have done some research on my own but, I thought friendly customer service would help). I had to drag information out of them, only to get snobbish answers. I understand that they deal with hateful customers but, would have liked to have had the chance to show them that Im not one of them.I was not looking to make a fortune and even offered to donate the clothes since I didnt bring the ones i had in an approved container.I will continue to shop here but, will not attempt to bring clothes again.

I was disappointed. I was looking for a high chair and toys. There was no real furniture type items, nor space for any. There were toys but it was obvious some were not childrens favorites because there were a dozen or so of each. Lots and lots of clothes and if someone wants high end labels they can be found there. But I didnt think the mid-priced things were much cheaper than a full priced store. In all, helpful for clothes if its in your neighborhood. Not worth driving across town for.

I use to love this place. However the staff is very rude and seem annoyed when a customer comes to sell clothes. They basically only pay you .50 cents to $1.00 for any item they want to buy from you. I understand its a Consignment store. However the way the staff talks to customers when they dont take an item of clothing is very condescending. To all parents wanting to sell kids clothes please just wait and consign with Rhea Lana. They do a spring and fall sale. I just did the spring sale and made over $200 selling my daughters clothes she outgrew. Its more work on your end but the staff is super nice and they give you 70% of the money to you. Please dont waste your time at once upon a child. Rude and condescending staff members.

This review is based on the retail of the store, I have seen negative reviews when selling but I only went to shop. The selection is fantastic, prices are incredible and the store is very well organized; aside from clothes they have swings, carriers, books, toys, and more. I will definitely be returning.
