To be honest, they do have one of the best selections of rare and hard to find comics I have ever seen. That said, it feels more like a museum showcasing a private collection than a comic shop. The prices are all a bit high(some are astronomical), and the low lighting makes it hard to really evaluate condition. The staff is friendly and helpful, however, so that is a plus!

Shadow Mountain Comics is such a unique comic book store. Every month they have a different consignment sale on long box comics, prices usually start at $10 a comic and then drop to $0.50 by the end of the month. I have always been very pleased with the customer service and the willingness of the staff to help in a purchase or make a sale. One example recently was that I had made the decision to buy an Amazing Spider-Man 347. The shop didn’t have one in stock but the owner knew he had 2 or 3 in his inventory. He said he would be right back and drove 5 miles to search his inventory. He came back with 2 well preserved copies and I was able to determine which copy I wanted to purchase. The price was comparable to market value and I was very pleased with the entire transaction. I was also able to find some Frank Miller Daredevil, Brian Azarrello/Jim Lee Superman, Marvel Zombies 2/3/4 complete Limited Series, tons of older Thor Keys, and Barry Windsor Smith MCP Weapon X comics in the long boxes. This shop is super awesome.

I was just the ride, but the owner (I think is who he is) was really cool. Hooked my buddy up with a good deal and they have some top shelf choices.

Went there to meet Jason David Frank, traveled two hours, and the staff very impatiently tried to rush us along. While my brother and I got to talk to him, my friend did not. You werent even allowed to shop during the event so you just had to wait outside in the heat or if you wanted to go there and didnt care about the event you were screwed. This was due to the size of the store I think but a comic shop shouldnt be smaller than your living room. Overall, cool looking store but very rude staff

Was finally able to check this place out today. It’s amazing! One of the best comic book stores in Tulsa . If there’s a key you need to check off the list I would definitely check with these guys first.Nick was very helpful and just fun to chat with. If you enjoy comics you need to check this place out

Great comic selection friendly staff

This is the upper end comic store for Tulsa. High end, classy, sold me a venom number 3. No where else in Tulsa could I find that book. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. The sales that they have, are more like events and are fun. My family and I had a blast. Thanks

Chris is the most knowledgeable dealer/collector Ive met in decades. Drove from Oklahoma City to price a Savage Tales 1 first Man-Thing and left with the book marked as mine. Traded a few lesser books for cool things for the personal collection. The BEST comic book store Ive personally visited in my fifty years collecting. I highly recommend this shop for all your comic books wants. Tell Chris I sent you... and hell have no idea who the Hell youre talking about. But tell him anyway.

Friendly, helpful service, but I was disappointed in the selection of Star Wars comics and the organization of the place.

Not from Tulsa, but came across this gem. Thought Id check it out. Ended up hanging out and shooting the breeze with Chris for nearly an hour. Cool guy. He showed me a bunch of cool stuff in the store and shared a lot of stories about stuff in Tulsa and old comic books. Definitely worth the visit.

Just recently found this place. I was blown away by 2 things. 1 its super clean, 2 there is more silver age and key issues here than any store in the region. Ive been a collector for 30 years, this place is legit, in fact they are too legit, I hope they wont quit.

Place is incredible. They only carry high-end books and keys. If you have a list with some hard to get books on it, they probably have it. The only common stuff they have is in their $2 boxes. Some unbelievable books at this place. Definitely a serious collector’s destination.

This is a great shop, owners were very friendly. If you are looking for a key issue this is the only place to go in Tulsa. They also have lay away which allowed me to get a truly special book for my son’s Christmas present. If your a collector you need to check out this store.

Visited yesterday 7/18/19, and was very impressed with the shop. They fill a niche for comic shops in Tulsa by focusing strictly on high-end and graded comic books. The staff working was knowledgeable and friendly. I look forward to shopping with them again.

The owners were so kind to my 4 year old son. My son had been begging to get his first comic book and we stopped at the perfect place! They were very patient while my son talked their ears off about superheroes but they made his first comic book experience a blast for him and even gave him trading cards that he was so excited to get. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my son ☺️

Wow! Incredibly impressed with this comic book store. Completely unique and a fantastic selection of hard to find comics. The store is unlike any other. I appreciate the sleek decor and the mirror in the bathroom is cool. Go here first!

This is an amazing experience! I have never been a comic shop like this. Most shops dont carry Golden or Silver age comics but Shadown Mountain has a great selection of high quality classic issues. All I can say is Shock and Awe! Well done!

Has the hard-to-find Silver age comics, in the nicest condition. Books are fairly priced. Looking to fill a hole, or upgrade a book, SMC is the shop to visit. Store is super nice, organized, and clean. Even my wife likes going there. The owner Steph is super cute, and she really knows her stuff!

While traveling home from Dallas to Missouri found the shop via Google, after looking at the pictures decided to do a quick stop and check it out, glad I did!! Ended up being there for over 2 hours just talking comics with the owner ( sorry Im horrible with names lol), great experience with great people at a great shop, wish all shops were setup this way and will be a definite stop when ever I come thru that way!!
