Was a nice pleasant shopping experience. Found several bargains that werent announced. The clerks were pleasant and friendly.

One of the anchor stores in the mall. Not as busy as Dillards but busier than Macys. I got the impression that the store had some of the lighting turned off but it may just be my old eyes.

My favorite store for womens plus, vacuum choices to pillows. The cashier found coupons on her phone to let me get the best deals they offer that day. So thoughtful.

I found a silver and black formal wear jacket for my husband that I love! It was priced right because you dont wear formal entire often.

Frustrating experience. We got there just before 7pm, figured an hour would be plenty of time. The place looked like a tornado hit it, clothes everywhere on the floors, empty racks, it was so disorganized. I found a black dress I needed for my dads funeral tomorrow and got in line to checkout at 7:30. There was only 1 register open for the entire store, the line of people went almost all the way to the escalators. My grandmother and i stood there until almost 9pm, all of us were in the dark waiting since they turned the lights out on us when they closed at 8. Only one shown over the register. Everyone in line was like my lord this is unbelievable. It felt like black Friday or something, we all started sitting down, introducing ourselves and telling stories to pass the time. When we finally finished they said we had to leave through the doors next to the register since the mall was closed. I had parked on the complete opposite side of the mall. There was no way my grandma could walk that far so I left her sitting on the curb in the dark night as I walked the very long trek across all the parking lots and climbed the steep grass hills to finally get to my car. I can feel blisters already forming on my feet. Im giving 3 stars because I found a good dress on sale and Im sure theyre understaffed and thats a big part of the problem but it was just such a frustrating experience to get 1 simple dress. When I got home I mentioned what happened to a few friends and they all said they had waited around 1 hour to checkout when they went to jcp recently too.

Used to be one of my favorite stores tried to find shoes not any good choices very pricey lost my business after 60 years of being a customer

If you dont have time to rummage through the mess then stand in line for 40 minutes this isnt your store. No help leads to bad experience!!!!

How this store has gone downhill. I went to pickup some bedding I had bought online and the lower level was a ghost town. Hardly any product on the shelf and empty packages stashed everywhere you looked. Just evidence of the amount of theft that is happening. Very sad. The one lady I found working downstairs was very friendly and there were some good sales, but dont expect a selection and check the product for defects or missing items before you leave.

The store West clean and the employees were very nice the only problem I saw was it wasnt enough registers and so people have to stand in a long line

I always shop the foundry for my tall clothing. Janet the cashier recommended I check the website for a holiday coupon and saved me over $50 on my transaction. That great service is why I keep coming back.

One person working and a line of customers. 2 custo.ers were sorting their order and questioning each other if they should keep them while holding up the rest of the line trying to pickup their online orders.

It saddens me what I saw at JCPenneys. The management is rude, the store is in complete disarray. Its dirtier then a thift store and they are in low supply on everything. They dont have any dressing rooms open in the entire store due to low staffing, how hard would it be to have a single dressing room open? Im not purchasing a $200 dress from a filthy store with rude customer service and not even be able to try it on. Any other dept store in the mall is better then this one which is genuinely sad because jcpennys used to be my favorite store.

I needed a coat for my granddaughter, so I thought I would check out JC Pennys. They usually have a large stock of coats. Not this time. I needed a juniors coat. The selection was very slim. I tried looking elsewhere. I found kids coats that were to small. She wanted a long coat. So I went back to the womens coats. I searched all the racks. The coats were expensive! I found 1 medium, long coat among the womens coats. The tag said $74. I took it to the register just to see how much it was since they were having a sale. It rang up $34.99. I also had a 30% off coupon. So with the coupon and tax, I ended up paying $26.58 total. I would give them 5 stars, except the selection of coats was not good. I think I was lucky finding what I did.

I havent been in this JCPenney in almost 2 years so I was very surprised when I was there last weekend and noticed that the place smelled really moldy especially the clothing area.I actually stopped in there to find me some clothes to wear to a wedding and I was very unhappy to see that there was only one little bitty teeny tiny section of plus size clothes and they were all for people that were over 100 years old..

JCPenney has a good selection of many things but I was looking for some kitchen curtains and they were way too pricey .

I am confused at why this store looks like a tornado hit at when the mall opens at 10:am. Its 10:30 as walk through and clothes are everywhere on the floor not folded. I worked at department stores in the past and we would have to clean and fold before we went home and during the day. This JCPENNEY should go ahead and close up just like the one at the Promanade mall. Horrible !

Found dresses we liked but dressing rooms closed. We are not going to spend 200$ and not try it on. Others have figured out how to open theres

My fiance and I found some slacks online that said thus items were also in the store and neckties we wanted for our wedding. However once we got to JCPenneys, it looked like a hurricane had hit the store. Items for very limited and the items that we wanted were not even available. But by the time I have never liked to shop at the Woodland Hills Mall area anyway, but now I will never go back. Very disappointed in the store oh, and the sales Clerks.

They do have good collection of clothes.

Best shopping experience in a while. Bought a few things from their discount markdown section. One top wouldnt ring up and another was missing its tag. But he kept his cool, tried to find another one to get the price. But got a manager quickly and solves the issue very fast. Really sweet young guy wearing a Pennys Mask. I missed the name tag. But very friendly, very helpful ans overall gave very good customer service. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Impossible to shop at a store that isnt open. Store only has ONE set of doors you can go in, and now they dont even open untill 11am.No wonder on-line shopping is putting stores out of business. So went Sears, so goes JC Penneys

I went in for a robe for my husband for Valentines Day and found several good deals on other things. They had several clearance racks for 50-70% off. I found my daughter a very nice winter coat for 25$. The regular price was over 70$.

Store temperature was hot. Lines were very long I was 12th in line. Could not find anyone on floor to answer question about a price. Had to wait wait wait in line to ask question. Not a good experience

Omg I don’t know even where to being... the store is a complete mess, the lines are super long and I can’t Believe I have to leave my first review for this store. What is going on is horrible I remember two months ago the i came to this store and it was probably the best experience I’ve ever had and now I see new employees who are very rude and don’t seem to care for the customer, management does nothing either, I really miss the lady who was from Puerto Rico and the Hispanic gentlemen who where always working with her. And I plan to never ever come back i am so disappointed

Over priced. Vans were $50 bucks, but in the Vans store same shoe, $10 less. Some things are priced decently, but having a huge sale sign and only getting $1 taken off the overall price is not a huge sale.

Rarely go to the mall, but every time I do, a department store reminds me why. Only 2 registers open at one kiosk at the back of the store with a long line. There was a register at the front. I have to wonder how many people walked out with merchandise since I circled the floor twice and saw no employees except at that back register.

2 check out, one up one downstairs. One cashier at each. One of lines had 10 guest in line. Two items did not ring up with the sale price on the rack they were on. I am surprise Pennys still have any stores still open

Walk in on top floor if you have a return you have to take an elevator down bottom floor to return or exchange. Was okay other than that. And very short handed!!

No one was interested in helping me out. Dont recommend shopping here

JCPenney I love 💜 their clothes

My daughter and I ventured out to get our hair done at JCP Salon (#2237 at Woodland Hills Mall) and we had a WONDERFUL experience. My daughter had her waist length hair cut by Rie Haan and Jennifer Thompson gave me a head full of ringlet curls. Both stylist did exceptional work and we left feeling like a million bucks. If you want to turn heads with your hair, go and visit Jennifer and Rie at JC Penny Salon located at Woodland Hills Mall in T-Town. Youll be glad you did!

Signage is incorrect, store was horribly disorganized. When I checked out it took 20 minutes just to be waited on. Turns out my purchase was not on sale after all but the signage was there.

The lady that was helping us was very knowledgeable about suits and successfully helped my son get one he was happy with. That says a lot because we went to 4 other places today.

There were plenty of staff, place was clean and organized. None of the meat looked dry and disgusting. I got a bowl with a tortilla on the on side, only complaint was my tortilla was very hard and brittle. I got the lemonade and the strawberry/pomegranate tea mixed, very good.

Great shopping experience. Great quick exchange & service for Christmas gift that was to large. Was able to exchange for same just smaller. Amazed.

Literally the worse. The store doesn’t have AC. 70% of the customer service booths are closed.. you have to stand in line for so long because only one worker is manning them. And the store is messy

Seems like it is going downhill

The customer service representative who helped with my return was very good. The store hours are horrible. According to the website they dont even open until 11:00 a.m., it used to be 10:00 a.m. which is still late for people who like to get up early and get things taken care or like me who came from out of town and have other appointments to take care of.

Easy exchange. Found same items smaller sizes. Amazing. Safe shopping, great service.

Great customer service

Customer service at this jcp location is very slow, bordering on non-existent. Clerks are friendly enough when you are finally helped, but the response time, especially in returns is excruciatingly, methodically slow. Clerks were visit with one another or with the customers they are helping, but there is no concern to the very long line of people holding large packages, or those with crying, tired children waiting to be helped. This jcp location has provided only one desk for returns which is absurd this close to after Christmas. I am a very patient person, but the three experiences I have had within the last few weeks have been very trying.

It’s no wonder retail stores are closing, especially this one. Customer service is severely lacking. Apparently I was standing on the wrong side of the register and no employee ever told me. So, after I’ve waited 15 minutes the employee tells me I need to go to the back of the line that has apparently been growing as I waited on the wrong side. Also, for my pick-up order the email instructed me to bring the email and my photo ID but the cashier demanded I show my credit card and never asked for my ID. All she could say was “I don’t know” when I asked her about the discrepancy. This store also has no directions about where to go or where the different departments are located.

I like the deals and the brands are nice. The people working their can be some of the rudest people. The sephora inside much nicer team, and thats really saying something.

They had some great sales but the store is in disrepair and stock is really low. Also skeleton crew so not many around when you need help. The employees that were findable were helpfull.

Everything is up to date except store building.The fitting rooms are always dirty and out of date. But they always have excellent selection of clothes, I shop mainly for dresses here always have had a great experience, Except fitting rooms. The staff are always friendly I shopped for my prom dresses and even my wedding dress! Excellent staff

Horrible customer service. Shut down to one register. Stood in line for 45min and never moved with only 7 people in front of us and each person only having maybe 5 items. In the 45min I stood in line not one person was checked out. I will no longer shop at JCP.

Used to do all my Christmas shopping at Pennys. very sad to walk in & store isnt full, no associates in sight, & a forever wait to check out & only 4 people in line in front of me. Then they rang stuff up wrong, tag says $20 but they charged me $60. Had to wait thru line again to get it corrected. Very sad.

Pretty good experience. I felt that the management did not really care about their customers and did nothing to help the employee. I think her name was Maria or something similar. Couldnt buy an item we wanted due to poor labeling.

I had my hair cut in the Salon. I told the stylist to cut my hair however she wanted to and the results are beautiful. I have received many compliments. She also offered a treatment for my over-bleached hair: my hair is now soft and manageable. I would return to this stylist if I didnt live out of town. Her name is Meg.

Buyer beware when purchasing a mattress. The process of purchasing the mattress was wonderful but they use the most unprofessional delivery service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They missed their appointment for delivery with me and there was no call to explain that they would be late. When I called and someone finally answered, they stated that they would have the people from the truck call me and it took an hour and a half to get a call. I have been waiting nearly a month for my mattress to be delivered and am not at all please with this delivery company’s service.

I attended the JC Penny Suit-Up event on tonight (3/1/20). All of the staff was extremely helpful with making sure I had the correct measurements and that I found EVERYTHING needed to be successful and to my liking for my future professional career. I walked away knowing that whenever I’m in the market for more professional wear while here at school I know where to go because of the outstanding help I’ve received before.

Love JCPenney. Affordable fashions and always has sales. Been shopping here for a long time with my family. Good rewards program. Just wish there were more people working the checkout lanes sometimes. But that just shows how many customers they have!
