This place is incredible. I want in right before they closed. They helped me get an alignment on a corvette which is tricky job because what I needed was not in the computer that normally tells them what to set it at. Everything had to be done custom and that takes special skill to know how to do it. Very technical. Most places never would have even tried, especially being so close to closing. They had to get creative to figure out how to get my car on the machine because my corvette sits so low to the ground it wasnt able to drive on to the ramp. Most people would have given up right there, but those guys thought outside of the box and figured out how to get it up on the alignment rack without damaging my car. I am so proud of that team at 81st and Yale. Tim there is a real problem solver.Because of their hard work I was able to get my car aligned just in the nick of time before heading to the race track the next morning. Not all heroes wear capes.

The good: They were friendly and was in and out in about 30 minutes.The bad: When I was calling for prices they quoted me the price received if I applied for or used their credit card but failed to mention that part. It was $10 more than the quote I was given, and I’m not even sure I got the correct oil. My receipt says 5w30 but my car sticker says 5w20. Also, they claim to check tire pressure and tread wear but oddly enough all of those numbers were exactly the same for all 4 tires. I know my tire pressure isn’t 33 for all of them because my car tells me. I drove an extra 8 miles out of my way to find out I was lied to on pricing and now unsure I even received what I paid for. For those reasons I probably won’t return. You earn repeat business by being honest with your customers and I don’t feel that happened today.

This was the 3rd time that I’ve taken a vehicle there and that do excellent work. Efficient and great communication through out. Brian was personable and professional. He kept in communication with me every step of the way and he earned my business for anything I need done in the future. I have been to this location a few times. The first visit they repaired a flat tire using a patch, not a plug. There was no charge. So later I bought new tires and gas and oil change. The service has always been excellent. They are efficient, do good work and never try to up sell me. Today I had them rotate the tires. They did the work and there was no charge.

Went in yesterday to see if they could help me out with a simple thing. Timothy was very gracious and helped me with a smile.Unfortunately, the simple fix wasnt the complete fix, so this morning I had to take in my car and have some work done... well, its 1pm, car is complete and running great, and I didnt have an appointment!Stopped by yesterday mainly due to vicinity, but, will be back because yall are great and I appreciate the quick turn around!

This is my first time trying out the oil service. Walk in is welcome and the first impression is great. Clean facility with friendly greet. In and out with less than an hour. Ill update the next oil change service and if Im going to purchase the tires.I believe they do offer free wheel alignment/ rotation for free with oil change.Update 08/20/21So my under engine guard panel came off. I might have hit something, and the staff took care of it within a few mins. Great service with a great smile!Thanks again, i will come back for another oil change and a set of tires soon.

I came in with a nail in my tire. When I walked in the lobby I was greeted right away. After some information exchange, the technician took my van and began working on it right away. Within 15 minutes of my arrival my van was ready to go. The best part is that there was no charge to repair my tire which surprised me. Great people and quality work. Thank you Tate staff

I was very impressed with the whole experience from the moment I walked in the door to the time I left. Just stope in to get an oil change and my tires rotated and was amazed how quick and professional they were. The store felt amazingly clean and didn’t at all smell like most car service centers. I had a sudden but minor problem when my Low Tire Pressure alert signaled just before a long trip late Friday afternoon. Not only did the Tate Boys offer to check my tires for free, they discovered that one of the tire sensors was defective. Even though my car is 13 years old, they had the correct part in stock and were able to replace it in no time and at a very reasonable price. Not only did they save my trip, they saved me a lot of anxiety. Truly first class.

My first visit this morning for a Monday tire repair and these guys took care of it quickly…and at no charge. What a great surprise!!

Brian at Tate Boys treated me very well. He warned me that they had gotten busy just before I arrived. However I went ahead with an oil change/tire rotation and his time estimate was very accurate (not a fake, overly optimistic one to get you stuck there). I was very happy with their service and will use them again!

Really great place to get your oil changed, new battery or tune up! The staff there are very courteous, efficient and on the ball! Prices are reasonable too! I really like that they run diagnostics on your car to let you know if your fluid levels or need to be changed! Highly recommend. Although they are very busy so expect to wait a bit. They are worth it though!

A mile away, while turning at a light, I hit a bungee cord just right to get the hook stuck in my tire. I pulled in 2 minutes before they opened and asked for the tire to be repaired. Bryan at the desk was extremely friendly and had them fix my flat and even rotate my tires (upon seeing the notification on my car)... all for free! It took maybe 20 minutes and I was on my way. Made my day!

Came in on Wednesday with a Buy 3 get 1 free coupon received in mail Friday. Was told coupon was expired. When said it was just received in the mail was told it was only good on major brands. Received General Tires which is a major brand. Feel like the mailers they send out are just scams. Do NOT recommend going here expecting any honesty up front.Edit: for those curious. They did not reach out. I am leaving 1 star. I dont believe it would be my responsibility for attempting to rectify issue either. This should have been addressed at time of service not to remove a negative review.

Here we gooooo, they broke my door handle (how do you brake a door handle?) and didn’t tell me just left the handle on the ground,they lost one of my center caps. They have now grinned 3 of my wheels and put bead sealer on there. Because my wheels wouldn’t hold the bead? But after they still don’t hold air.All because they don’t want to admit the tires they sold me are junk! Just want y’all to honor your end of the contact like I did. I’m so disappointed in the trust and service.

I blew a tire between Stillwater and Tulsa, and AJ and his team went out of their way to get a tire they didnt have in stock and put it on the car. I was back on the road in 90 minutes. Excellent, friendly service!

Have been loyal to Tate Boys since moving close by. Bought tyres, had oil changed, shocks replaced... Last time I was in I was talked into getting a 3 year alignment package, seemed like a good deal (not told of the fine print) its been less than 6 months, I havent used one of them, sold the vehicle it was attached to, and am unable to get a refund or use it for my current vehicle. Upset seeings Ive invested quite a bit at this shop thought you guys would look after your loyal customers

Had a tire replaced here. Micah and Brian were great. I called at four in the evening and they were able to have the tire in store and put on before 11 the next morning. Really helped me out in an emergency situation. Would recommend to anybody. Great customer service and fast service

The customer service was great. The young man who helped me was courteous. I purchased 4 GoodYear Assurance tires. First time buying Goodyear. Compared to the old tires, the ride is very very very rough. I hope the ride improves as the tires get broken in.

I sent my SECOND email to someone at Tate boys and still have not gotten a response and it’s nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone. I got an oil change and also rotated my tires(never said anything to them about doing that) next day I noticed a hubcap was gone. I called they said they would replace it. This was in February and it is now May, I believe that is more than enough time to resolve an issue.

Just left Tate Boys. Was getting a tire repaired and Juan one of the sales managers, I believe is his title, is the best. He is literally always knowledgeable about the cars I bring in or he generally knows how to get the info for me or where to direct me if they do not handle the type issue I may be having. Hell use his hands to illustrate or explain to me how something works or should work and why it is now likely not working. This helps people like me see (why) something needs to be replaced or repaired and then you can have more confidence you are not being hustled into a deal you (did not) need. Which most of us are familiar with shops like that.Thanks Juan, Ive learned a lot from you.

We use Tate Boys regularly and have always been happy with their prices and service. Matt is good to deal with. I would have given 5 stars but I’ve repeatedly noticed that when I enter the office area, I’m routinely ignored. Unless Matt is working, I can stand there for several minutes before anyone acknowledges that I’m there.

DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO HAVE YOUR BREAK DONE. They will reap you off. I paid to have my breaks done a year ago. Breaks starting making sound, took it there and they guy said they can redo the job for another $500. My vehicle is a brand new 4 runner making a horrible squeezing sound coming from the breaks. I will go to any single online forum to tell my story and will make sure they lose several clients the same way I lost my money.

I stopped by with a no flat tire that was very low. I was immediately helped by Bryan. He was very friendly and professional. They checked all my tires and gave me quotes for replacing each one.They repaired the leak and I was able to leave in less than an hour.I will definitely have them replace the tires when the time comes.

I went to the 81st and Yale store. I did 5 tires mounted and balanced road hard warranty along with a 4 wheel alignment. I figured Id be there till close. It was 3:30p. When I got there. It was 5:15 when I left. I was very impressed by the service I got. I did online shopping for a spacific tire and tate boys was the cheapest out of 5 stores. Bryan McGregor the sales associate who helped me was very helpful and very polite. They have coffee, soda, water, and popcorn for those who are having service done. Im a very happy customer. Ive been in tire shops before getting the same service done and have to come back the next day for the wheel alignment. Discount tire in Tulsa hills is famous for it. When its time for tires on my other vehicles I will be back to tate boys and see Bryan again. Sometimes service outweighs price. And the service I got I was impressed with.

Super great service! I needed a bulb fixed. About 30 minutes it was fixed at a much lower cost than I imagined. The employees were very friendly! The inside was a clean and comfortable waiting area. VERY impressed with the service.

Tate Tires At 81st and Yale... they were amazing… I live right behind them and I’m not able to get around real well… They came and charged my battery and filled up a flat tire... took it down to their store, put four new tires on it and a new battery, then brought it back to me… They have excellent prices I had no idea I would get such a great deal… They went over and beyond… I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Using them for any vehicle needs

The Broken Arrow location is the best one I have visited to date. Most of the service writers have been helpful and knowledgeable. My only suggestion would be to please install a drink machine or stock water like you did when you first opened. You are still the best and most reasonably priced place to take your vehicle to get minor repairs and tires in the greater Tulsa area.

My local Tate Boys always does a great job, on time on quote and never tries to over sell me on any thing. Total Recommend Tate Boys I feel like they have my back.
