Gary Johnstons has done an amazing job on my car when Ive gone in. Theyre always very friendly and their pricing is fair- as an out of state college student I have never been overcharged and their work has been very good and timely. Theyve done work on a Honda and a Buick for me and have done a great job on both without giving me a long list of things “wrong “ like a tire shop might. 10/10 would recommend.

I lost my brakes just as I got into Tulsa and had to rely on AAA for a referral for service. They suggested Gary Johnston. When AAA dropped my truck off the Service Center was extremely busy. I explained to them I was in a spot and time was an issue. They immediately got my Truck on a lift and took care of my brakes. I knew I also needed some U Joints replaced and asked if they could take care of that while it was on the lift. Not only did they fix the U Joint, but they did so at a VERY reasonable rate. An EXTREMELY Professional crew, from the Service Desk, to the Technicians themselves. If you live in Tulsa, or are just passing through and run into trouble, be sure to give these Professionals a call. You WONT be dissapointed.

I am so pleased with the work Gary Johnstons Truck and Auto Repair did on my Chevy. Often times I have experienced high pressure and surprises in cost once my vehicle was repaired. At Gary Johnstons they were up front and honest with me regarding all repairs and cost. I never felt any pressure or rush in making my decision. I highly recommend his shop without hesitation!

An absolute scam! I took my vehicle in for a wheel alignment and tire balance/rotate. They told me I needed on both front sides, new wheel bearings, new front shocks, new rotors, new brake pads... gave me a outrageous price of over $1700! Took it elsewhere and got my truck worked on for $116! Drives like a dream no thanks to Gary Johnston. Go here if you have money in your pocket burning a hole.

Had several noises on my truck and other items that needed repaired. I was pretty concerned with how much it was going to cost. Also I always heard about the mechanic shop that ALWAYS finds something else to be repaired. I can confidently say the guys at Gary Johnston were VERY easy to work with. The office staff had great customer service, the waiting room was clean and inviting. The price was on the mark for all that I got done (I got a lot done). They did not try to sell me things I didnt need. Hopefully, I dont have a reason to see them soon but if I do I will definitely go back to Gary Johnston.

I had several preventive maintenance items done to my pickup. They said it would be done when I got off work. They finished on time and at a very reasonable cost. It is very difficult to find a fair, honest and reliable business. Gary Johnston is all of those. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a car question on a separate issue and when I called he took time to answer my question. At no time did I ever feel pressured to end my call. I would whole-heartedly recommend this company.

Had a great experience with these guys, first time I could say that about a mechanical shop in a long time. They were very knowledgeable & helpful and took great care of my Tahoe, Got it back with no issues and have used them ever since. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Where to begin. Very unprofessional. They sent out for parts from a close parts store and when worker came back with nothing, i overheard them talking about not being able to get parts due to bills not being paid to store. I immediately had my vehicle taken elsewhere. If this company wont pay their bills, why should i trust them with my vehicle.

If you want honest guys to work on your vechicle this is the place to take it. They will fix exactly what needs fixed and not cheat you out of money doing anythig not nessessary. Lifter & cam issues. The shop offered to give me a ride back to work while they worked on my car, which was nice. Fixed my car issues within one week, despite the fact that one of the parts were on national backorder! They gave me updates throughtout the week and let me know price changes before starting the task at hand. In the end, they went a little over $500 from the estimate they had given me, $200 of the cost was my fault for not supplying a few items I had originally said I was. My car is running good so far, so I am happy. I will be a repeat customer & recommend the shop to others. ☆☆☆☆☆ stars in my book!

The mechanics we all need! My wife broke down in Tulsa as she was driving home to Sallisaw. She left it there and got a ride home, and I went up a few days later to see if I could get it towed to a garage. It seemed to be working, so I limped it to Gary Johnston Truck and Auto Repair, and they came outside and looked at it for me. They figured out what had been the problem, identified that it was most likely a one-time problem, so I ran a few errands in Tulsa to make sure we were up and running. It was running great, so I headed home and its been great since! At no cost they provided me the exact diagnosis and prediction that I needed, and got me back on the road! Cant thank these guys enough!

Iove these guys. They are awesome. I was going out of town, and needed a quick oil and tire rotation in short notice. These guys didnt give it a second thought. They took care of me right away, and today I stop by to get a multiPoint vehicle inspection, and they even pointed out the trouble areas. Me and my fiance brought our altima in for some work on the steering when the work was done i thought it seemed a little high but paid it anyways the next morning i was called to come back and pick up a refund of 100.00 that they mistakenly overcharged. When i went in i mentioned that the alignment seemed off so they are going to fix it at no cost. They seem honest and want to make sure you are happy with their work and they really care about what their customers think.

I brought my F-150 to Gary Johnstons with the hope that they would live up to the good reviews. Needless to say, it was the worst experience I have ever had with a shop. Not only did they not fix the truck at all, they kept the truck there for nearly a month and tried to hide the fact that they werent going to work on it. They never contacted me, even after telling me they were going to work on it. I went there and picked my truck up and brought to a different shop. It was fixed there within 1 week and will never go back to this place, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. Terrible service and terrible experience.

I was in Tulsa a few weeks ago working and started having some miss problem.engine studder..i didnt have any of my tools with me to work on it.so i bit the bullet and found these guys next to my hotel..i figured since i was from out of town i was guna get Reamed!..well..i was wrong..they found the simple problem that i cause a few days earlier changing my water hose..it wasnt fitted correctly and was leaking on the spark plugs..they fixed me up for fairly cheap and i was on my way..any place could have screwed me!..but very honest..A-plus dudes

When they want you to chose them over another shop, they will call non-stop and tell you what you want to hear. But once you choose them, they wont update you on anything. You have to call them and leave many messages. My truck kept getting pushed back but I had to constantly call them. It was just hard to believe because of how persistent they were when they wanted my business. Very disappointing. Worst shop experience I have ever had!

These guys did an AMAZING job on my truck and saved me tons of money! Another shop had quoted me for several unnecessary repairs and these guys were honest, quick, and even offered me a ride to and from work!

Rip off!!! They overcharged us by over 200%. Wife traveled to Tulsa to visit family and vehicle broke down. Didnt get a good description of parts and labor, after getting the invoice I researched the cost of parts and labor and we were overcharged by $700.00. I hope if the owner comes to Texas he feels as welcome as we did 😁
