On their recommendation, I bought a new engine valve sensor and installed it myself. But the engine would turn over but not start. I took the old part with me just in case. I had the car towed to them. They used a new expensive computer that said it was the dashboard lights. Then I took the old sensor out and they installed it in five minutes. It started right up. Then they charged me $100, even though their computer made the wrong diagnosis. I was the one that said put the old sensor back in, which solved the problem. My mistake was to not put the old sensor back in myself, since it was held on by a single bolt, instead of trusting them to find the problem. They tried to justify their charge by saying that they had fixed some minor problems before and didnt charge me. But I had offered to pay them those times and they said no. Basically: 1.Their computer did NOT find the problem. 2. At MY suggestion, they put the old sensor back on in less than five minutes, then charged me $100. 3. They should have accepted the money I offered them for their previous minor repairs, instead of trying to get their money back by overcharging me this time.
