I bought a car from there on 10/26 and it wasn’t a terrible experience but definitely not a good experience. Haley tried to hide things about the vehicle to get me to buy it. The seats in the vehicle were pulled out and she stated they were like that because the car still needed to be detailed but she was really trying to hide the fact that one of the seat belts was missing the cover. Also, because they had just gotten the car as a trade in they had to detail it and Haley told me it should be ready around 1:20 give or take. I had my 3 year old with me and she was hungry and crying at one point and everyone just ignored her. No one that was there mentioned that there was a vending machine or small area with toys. I didn’t realize there was until I got up and walked around with my daughter. I waited for what seemed like forever for my car to be detailed. It wasn’t done until about 4 pm and Haley really didn’t apologize about how much longer it took. She also at one point got an attitude with my grandma who was just making sure that this would be a good purchase. You can definitely tell that she was in a hurry to sell a car and not really trying to make sure this was the right car for me and on top of all that, the tank had less than a quarter of gas in it. Most dealerships will make sure you have a full tank before you leave. Wasn’t really impressed with the detailing either but I have a car so that’s why I’m giving this place 2 stars.
Frankie Live was the best salesperson/greeter that I have had at a car dealership. He was professional and conducted business straight forward. I appreciate not having to run around and sit for hours to get a truck purchased. Being a new car sales person at this time has to be a struggle but he was happy to be fantastic!! The employees are nice, but the service waiting room is gross. Air was set on 75 degrees, it was dirty and messy. Smelled stale, there is a newspaper keeping a table steady, all the chairs look about 20 years old and dirty cups sitting around. As nice as they are to drive you home, the car was dirty too on the inside.
I just needed an oil change and my tires inflated to correct PSI. Wes Adams is the service dept. manager and he was awesome. He had guaranteed me an oil change free of charge back in June when I had a not so great experience after I had my car towed in for a noise that wasnt normal. When I called South Pointe to speak with him to see if he even remembered me, I was given wrong info on the 1st call, 2nd call it took me forever to get the tech to understand what I was saying and I eventually was directed to Wes voicemail. I had given it a few days before I tried again since I had not heard from the dealership or Wes. I finally was able to speak to him and he remembered me and told me to just bring my car on in and he would get it taken care of. Once I got there and was telling the advisor I wanted the additive included with my oil change because I had the warranty in effect. He told me they didnt have the stuff on hand because they didnt offer that particular warranty but that I could go to a specific location about 10 miles round trip from the dealership to purchase the additive and bring it back and they would make sure it was added. The place he told me to go to was Robertson Tire and there is one located not even 2 city blocks from dealership. I was confused on why he would send me to a store that far when I could of walked to the one where I purchased the additive at? Service was great and Wes was good on his word. So now I feel better making my trip to Arkansas in a few days.
Excellent service, communication and follow up. The team at South Pointe even provided some free service a few weeks after buying our car.
Mike Hastings was fantastic. He worked hard and fast to find me what I wanted. Then, he seemed to take it one step further and found me an Equinox Premier that was ever better than what I asked for, and color and trim fitting my personality to a tee. He was also kind enough to pick me up at work 60 miles away from the dealership and take me to get my new vehicle. The whole experience was friendly and exciting rather than lengthy and stressful. I thank Mike for his help. I love my new Equinox!

Update: The dash lit up on Friday and the car started smoking. Had to be towed, and was told there was no oil in the vehicle. Now it is at another mechanic! I don’t understand how this happens. Over $3000 in repairs with South Pointe only to end up broke down on the side of the road 2 weeks later. Such a disaster.My experience with the service department at South Pointe had some highs and lows. What was originally suppose to be a 4 day fix turned into 14. Thankfully the general manager made the situation right, I was able to leave happy, and my vehicle is running good.
Zack Mokns was my salesmen. He was super nice and efficient and was straight to the point when I was looking at the car I bought. He made sure my car was taken care of and made sure we were happy and he went above and beyond! I will be recommending him to others!
I went in for an oil change and 15,000 mile service. The service guy who helped me was incredibly nice. The service was fast and not crazy expensive, so I was pleased.
We have dealt with many dealerships in the past and our experience here was excellent! All the staff we worked with, from sales, management and finance, were awesome to work with and truly cared that we had a great experience. South Point Chevy in Tulsa,Ok did a disservice and took advantage of my Elderly Mother. She came in with a knocking noise coming from the rear end of her 2017 Chevy Malibu. Granted, it’s still under warranty, she figured that the problem will be fixed. However, they kept her car six days, told her that the problem was bad shocks. People, we are talking about a practical brand new vehicle, No One sits in the back seat. Well, Chevy claimed that was the issue making the noise, it was not covered under warranty, and a whopping $700 plus to put New Shocks on. Well guess what, the knocking STILL EXISTS. It came out to be a bad pair of rear knuckles. I’m not even sure if they even replaced the shocks. Since then, my mother has tried to contact the Service Manager Supervisor, and we have Not heard from anyone. This type of service should be illegal, but I’m not a lawyer so this may may part of the slimes that still roam the car dealerships.
Your service team was considerate and friendly and went out of their way to provide status and get me in/out quickly. I was a little disappointed that it took as long as it did because we had a scheduled appointment, and we get frustrated when drop-ins are allowed to go in front of us who have an appointment. If you dont intend to keep a schedule, dont offer it to your customers -- its deceitful. We just left a very bad review at SoutPoint Honda for the same reason -- but theyve done this MANY times -- we hope you wont keep doing that. Your service tech did provide a discount for the lengthy delay, which is appreciated, but ultimately doesnt help if you have a schedule to keep!

I really felt like I was treated with respect and kindness. I think the process was very easy. I’ve never bought a car by myself before. So I didn’t really know what to ask exactly, so I missed some things on my own. But we got the price down where I wanted and they stayed late to help me. Overall very happy.
They were nice at first but told me it was As Is when I told then I needed a timing chain on my car. It was a problem when I got the car but didn’t realize it. I just asked can they help me with a portion and I was told repeatedly by the used car manager “I’m sorry, it’s as is”. Sad because I was looking forward sending people to them but when you spend 21k on a car they can’t even help. So here I am not even 2 months later having to come with with $2500 to fix a car I just purchased and put $5k down along with my old car that still had equity.Edit**** I’ve reached out 3 times by email like the “owner” responded and said on this review and was ignored every time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

We told them our concerns and challenges they werent pushy, presented us with many different options and got us into the vehicle we love and was way beyond what we dreamed we could afford!! I went in for an oil and filter change, plus fuel filter change. I was told it would take about an hour and 15 minutes. Turns out it took an hour and 45 minutes. Good thing I am a patient person. I was kind of shocked at the cost to replace the fuel filters. They were very friendly and courteous. Its very clean inside. Plenty of seating.

This dealership is good until it is time to honor a service warranty. Please do not allow them to repair your vehicle if you are looking for reliable repair work, good customer service or commitment to warranty after the fact. They DO NOT honor their work. I paid over $900 to have my college age son’s car repaired only for the issue with the car to repeat itself while he was away at school. I called this location and was told that the local dealership in his college town should honor the warranty. The dealership there did not because they said the issue stemmed from a small mistake by this location. They charged me a diagnostic fee and repair fee and this location will not even give me a call back to discuss options for a refund, or even a credit or voucher for future service. I am simply stuck paying out of pocket due to a mistake on their end. Instead of providing good customer service they want to say it’s their policy not to pay diagnostic fees. And I get that. However if the only reason I had to get the car “diagnosed” is because of a mistake made in their shop then at a minimum customer service should be a bigger priority than policy. I will NEVER come to this location again. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
From the moment we stepped onto the lot we were treated with respect and like part of the family. We purchased a new Blazer and Kenia helped us get exactly what we wanted. We had to wait a few days for a check to clear the bank and they worked with us on that as well. This experience has been most amazing

Great sales department but do not use their service department... Had appointment for 7500 maintenance and was told that during maintenance they could take care of a recall that takes all of 15 minutes. Arrive to be told the only thing they could do was a oil change...Could not even run diagnostics to see what code was coming up on my engine warning light. Truck has all of 8500 miles on it...Was told I could leave the truck over the weekend and they may be able to get to it on Monday. All I wanted was what they had already said they would do...7500 miles service including running a 30 second diagnostic and completing a 15 minute safety recall for a seat belt issue...I guess they want me to use the seat belt get in accident and see some one get injured when it fails.. Totally unsat service and this is from a place that I have purchased three new vehicles in the past 3 years from... If they treat a loyal customer like that I would hate to think how they treat someone who did not purchase a vehicle from them. I will stress that this is only a rating on their service department...Their sales department is amazing.
Jody at South Point was in constant contact with me updating me on the status of my vehicle, which I appreciated very much. I received at least 1 if not 2 phone calls everyday keeping me updated. I will definitely start using South Point Chevrolet for my future service needs on both of my GM vehicles from now on. They have definitely won back my business and Jody made that happen.

Called to ask if they had a certain car on their lot I saw online but didn’t have location details… I am a cash buyer and instead was griped at “WE DONT HAVE THAT CAR” instead of offering any help. What a joke!
Overall not very impressed. Service members seemed annoyed, crabby, and unfriendly. I understand covid-19 has taken a toll on businesses but thats still no reason for poor communication and terrible follow-through. After spending a mini fortune getting my car fixed and them having my car for almost two weeks I thought they would at least apologize for the inconvenience or at least wash and vacuum my car. I definitely will not have my car serviced there again, nor would I buy a carfrom this dealership.
Ordered a part via Chevy with dealer install.Part showed up the same week and had it installed in less than an hour. Easy to find service bay and nice staff.I’ll be using this to service my vehicles from here on out.
Salesman was amazing. Finance department refused to listen to concerns and threw in extra amenities with out explaining. Emailed general manager but never heard a response. Would probably have rated a 5 if I thought they cared about the buyer after a sale was completed.

Had my vehicle in for service. Not only was my problem not fixed, but they did not reassemble my vehicle properly. Ive tried calling no one will answer Ive also left messages that have not been returned. I hate leaving reviews like this, but perhaps I will wake someone up down there.UPDATE! The response below is BS! They do not care! No one will respond to the email either!

UPDATE to below review: On January 25th South Pointe Chevrolet reimbursed me for the rental car and offered to correct the tire rotation and fill the washer fluid. Thank you.I paid over $3,000 for a repair. The repair seems to be fine but the customer service at South Pointe is very poor. I paid for a tire rotation along with the repair and the tires were not rotated. I paid $187 for a new washer fluid hose and they didn’t even fill the washer fluid tank. A loaner vehicle was not available even though the service department expected to have my car for 10-14 days. I was told by Wes Adams that he would reimburse me for a rental car. I took him the receipt over a week ago and he said he would have a check for me in 1-2 days. I still have not received any communication from Wes, even after leaving him three voice messages. I went to the service department and personally spoke with Wes last Monday and he said the check would be on his desk by the end of the week. He did not call on Friday and is not answering his phone today, Monday, January 18.
Was disappointed to not find out until 330pm when I was 15 miles away without a car that you guys didnt offer uber pick ups anymore. Seems kind of a cheap cop-out to avoid an extra expense. Other dealers offer rentals for the day and you cant even pick me up. Wow. Will go somewhere us now. Not to mention the astronomical price, my goodness.

2 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection when you have an appointment seems excessive. They also claimed my battery was dead and wouldn’t start the truck. Never had that issue before and haven’t had it happen the past few times I started the truck since. The icing on the cake is the overpriced cost for an oil change.Update 5/14Well it’s been a week since the service and I still have not had any issues with my battery starting the truck. I have also tried to contact the general manager per his reply to my review. 2 phone calls, 1 voicemail, and 1 email with no response yet.Update 5/18Still no word from Derek Ellis. After reading several other reviews, I’ve come to the conclusion that South Pointe Chevrolet has no intention to follow up with customer complaints. Seems like a ploy to make new customers think the “General Manager” is making things right. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE OR GET SERVICE FROM SOUTH POINTE AGAIN.

I HAD A NAIL ON ONE MY TIRES THEY SAID TIRE NEED TO BE REPLACED they dont want to put the spare tire finally they did 11am they will call me when the tire isready they never call me I call at 4pm

My sons Camaro was making a strange noise when sitting idle. After telling us it was fixed we picked it up and got home it was still making the same noise.. We tried to reschedule to bring it back and was informed that they may not get to it for a while. Its very frustrating.

We bought a truck from them and bought an extra 4 year warranty. We only have the one vehicle and it’s having factory issues along with other very dangerous issues. It shuts off in the middle of driving basically everytime we go somewhere. We have tried to get it into the dealership for the last two months and they keep telling me someone else has their loaner vehicle and my truck will take 4 days to fix. If we get in an accident because of these problems and one of my kids get hurt it’s gonna be a bad deal. It’s not that hard to just take care or your customers so that we can drive our truck safely.

Jody Moore was excellent, service was good I assume but the Lyft share pick up service did not function and I had to wait for the car. Not happy about that. I went from being told 5-10 min wait to waiting an hour for the car. Wound up missing a scheduled appointment because of it. You should have had other arrangements available in cases like this.
