It was a Wednesday night, about 7. Advance was close to where I was working on my car. I called prior to my visit to check the availability of the part I was looking for. I spoke with Rusty and he told me he had several in stock. When I arrived at the store, a man was dragging a trash can into the store, another man stood at the counter. The guy at the counter looked up from his phone, completely annoyed to see a customer. I asked him if I could speak with Rusty. He said Rusty was doing trash duty and then asked me What do you want? That was attitude was enough to make me not want to deal with him. But, unfortunately, Rusty, was busy with trash duty and I was stuck with this guy. He hurriedly asked me for the year, make, and model of my vehicle. I gave him that information and told him the part I needed. In his hurried state he got the year wrong. So he had to ask me that again,and he was super annoyed by that. The computer screen showed several different types in stock. I know my thread pitch I needed, so I could see what parts were in stock. Then Rusty walked up and asked if I was the person who had just called about the parts. I affirmed that I was. The other guy than began to talk down to Rusty. Saying we dont have those parts in stock, you need to do better at checking before you say we have something in stock, but the screen clearly showed the parts in stock. Rusty said they could be on the aisle or on the stock shelves. The guy told Rusty to go find them. Rusty started writing the part numbers down, the guy stopped Rusty and told me to go find them. All we have is what is on the shelf. I didnt even waste my time looking on the shelf. Rustys coworker wasnt interested in helping a customer, making a sale, or his job apparently. Im a commercial account holder with the other 4 large part suppliers in Tulsa, but I wont be a walk-in or commercial account holder with Advance. I drove a mile further to OReillys and got amazing customer service, and the parts I needed, and even saved money by using my commercial account.

They always have a good selection. The guy working the counter could brush up on his customer service skills though. However, still a good experience.

I just went to get oil for 2 of my vehicles there was one guy behind the counter and one way in the back with 3 customers waiting . I went to the back of the store to get my oil and to go back to the counter and to see if I could get someone to help with the filters when I saw the other employee arguing with the other employee that other employee was just telling him there was a line.! He just looked at me and turned back around to the back! so I left ! Nobody wants to work I guess!

Called for a F150 Battery on the road, Pulled in, battery tested, New battery installed on the spot, less than 15 Min out the door and on the road. That is what I call 5 Star Service. Rock Stars!

Both Joe and Anthony were very helpful and got my issue resolved quickly. I came in with a suspected faulty battery, which Anthony tested and confirmed. Joe handled the exchange, the old battery was quickly removed and a replacement installed under warranty. Exchange and installation was fast and easy!

My husband, son and I were in town for our daughters wedding. Our van wouldnt start and we had to have it for my husbands power chair.My son got it to Advance Auto and they discovered the battery needed to be replaced. This was done, but the van still wouldnt run. They made a call to Firestone, the van was towed, fixed and ready the next day. We made it to the wedding and back home to Nashville without any problemsAwesome, caring people.
Worst experience I have ever had anywhere! Staff acts like I’m a problem any time I have a question. Every time I go in they try to send me to another store across town. This will be the last time I spend my money at any advance auto parts. Customer service is key when you have 5 auto part stores within 2 miles

Its not OReilly Auto Parts. Its closer to me by a long shot but they rarely have what I need at a competitive price, and do not stay open as late. I wish the two could switch locations. Advance is not taking advantage of this excellent real estate.

I went here today to get a new battery, and I couldnt have had a better experience. First, it was incredibly easy to order a new battery online for in-store pickup, plus I ended up saving 15% due to a current promotion.Then, when I arrived at the store, even though it was about 20 degrees outside, Tyrese and Joe graciously agreed to change out my battery for me! Turns out, I had so much corrosion on the terminals that they needed to be replaced as well to save the life of my new battery, so Joe and Tyrese were able to help me with that right there in the parking lot! Absolutely amazing customer service that I really appreciated. I definitely plan on going back for any future auto part needs.
I was called that a part I was waiting on, had came in. I had just arrived in Tulsa from a 11 hour drive from Colorado Springs. So I was tired.I called back to the store about an hour later, to see what their closing time is. I was put on hold. I was on hold until the phone started ringing again, and rang and rang and rang. I figured the associates were busy with other customers. So I hang up and looked on Google Maps to see what closing time was. 9pm, so I got a nap in. I arrived to the store, pulled on one door, it wouldn’t move. So I thought, ok, they have this one locked. I tried the other. It didn’t move either. So I looked at the schedule in the window.The store closed at 7pm. I missed it by less than 20 mins, because the information on Google Maps is not correct.

Just bought windshield wipers here and I didnt even have to touch them. Mr. Barry put them on for me and then exchanged them for the right size when he found out the computer had told us the wrong one. Very helpful, very friendly. Will most definitely come back.

They were the only place in Broken Arrow that had the Monroe shocks for my truck so I bought them there. When the shocks failed I went back for a warranty. They made it the biggest hassle possible. I has to get a District Manager involved to get my warranty. Ill drive across town to avoid buying anything from them in the future. Employee morale is bad, they always seem kind of annoyed to answer any questions. Just go to Autozone, NAPA or OReillys.

Futuristically advanced
I walked into the store today to find some interior retainer clips I had broke on my car. I found them, but noticed theyre much more expensive (3.99 for two clips) than at OReilly (3.99 for a multi-sized pack of 10). A gentleman asked me if I needed any help as I was on my way out to get them from the other store. I told him I didnt, I found what I needed, however, Advanced was much more expensive than Oreilly. Another worker in the store (we will call him Fat Old Grumpy Gray Beard) decided hed chime in with a WAH as I was walking past him on my way out... Totally rude and unprofessional and I cant believe that a customer facing company such as this would allow such a bitter rude individual to work there. Ill skip this store in the future if this is the best theyve got to offer.
Had to take a neighbor whos battery was dead. ..manager helped tremendously and even saved the guy some $$$. Always friendly staff and close to the house.

This place gave me a part that looked right and fit right but was defective and it cost me about a 1000.00 to fix things because of it.After a week and a half, then paying a master mechanic, I brought the part back only to receive a 162.00 gift card at their store!!!I simply wanted my money back for a part made wrong. They will not get my business, EVER AGAIN.
