Was in 3 years ago to have a head milled and cleaned as part of blown head gasket replacement. 30 k miles later, still running strong. In today for the same service on another vehicle price still $100. Expect it will be just as good as last time..

Will never go back tho further action may follow. First they called me before my truck or motor was even there and said my motor was bad, I took it as a simple misunderstanding on vehicles buuut after installed my front differential which goes through my oil pan was leaking and I had no oil, not only that my airbag light is on and never was on and my ac now has a leak i cant find, never had any of these issues before going there. When I called and asked for them to check their work they didnt want to look at my truck at all and said that dont do leaks but for a fee they will look at it in 2 weeks. This is a direct issue from their work, the engine I had put in it is good, my differential is good their work is bad. I had to go pay hundreds of dollars elsewhere to fix their work because they refused to. They put my family at risk and wouldnt recommend to anybody.

I took my 2007 Saab 9-3 convertible in to have the engine changed. They informed me it would be 1,700 total to swap out because 300 labor was on the starter needed changed as well. The old engine had thrown a rod. I got the engine replaced fast and professionally. They had it done in three days and did a great job! I’m so thankful they went ahead and done this even though they usually don’t work on Saab cars or just do engine swaps but the made an exception which I’m very thankful for. I can’t say enough good about the care they took on my car and the doors and sill of their mechanics

Worse place ever. They offer a warranty for the battery. Bought one 6 months ago my shop said it’s working half way and now the shop say there batteries on back order and don’t know what they can do. Now I have to buy another battery. Worse experience ever the guy on the phone was rude. Don’t waste your money.

So far so good! I just had Them rebuild the 3.7l in my 03 Jeep Liberty. It Almost seems like it is quieter than when it was brand new. These guys really went out their way. I was out of town and they picked up my Jeep and had her ready by the time I returned.Really glad I decided on Custom Motors!

Hasnt ran right sense leaks all fluids when it never leaked before and and took twice as long as it was supposed to, a month and a half and counting

My boyfriend had his truck engine done there. At the shop we noticed the radio was missing and things were obviously out of place, I talked with the owner and they knocked $100 off the final total. Once we got home, my bf started going through his truck, and noticed his drivers door handle was broke. After a closer look, it appears that his truck was broken into with a crowbar and screwdriver. Thats when my bf said the guy that was unlocking his truck tried the driver side, then went to the passenger side to unlock the driver side. We think the guy knew it was broken into and didnt say anything.Now I would give 5 stars for the workmanship on the engine, but beware of possibly having more damage to your doors and have missing stuff.

I took my ford lightning to custom motor rebuilders, I spun rod bearings I told derick that my lightning was my baby and please do your best job. Three days went by derick called me and ask me to come down and look at the damage, which I ask him I wanted to see what was wrong with it. Derick explan to me and showed me what was wrong with the motor. Four days later derick called me and told me it was ready, I waited a couple months before I gave my review, Im completely satisfied with the job custom motors done I will give them a FIVE STAR RATING. They brought my Saturn back from the dead.My wife was driving my 99 saturn sl2 back and forth from Tulsa OK to Borger TX one summer, without us really taking care of the engine. It all but blew up.Brought it in, they gave a quote for a rebuild, but also a quote from a zombification with a salvage. Went the salvage route. Its lasted another couple of years beyond that, with normal repairs.Got out with a salvaged rebuilt engine, parts, and labor, under $1400.It wasnt the best move, repairing that car, but it still got 32+ mpg after the repair. Wish they had recommended changing out the water pump at the time, as I had to get that done about ... was that 3 years later? Okay, nevermind... Yeah, theyre good.

My car broke down about 100ft from Encinas Car shop, I took to them, this being a 2000 Jeep Wrangler, they told me 9000$ for a new engine it needed, THEN, kind as they are, Offered to buy my Jeep on the Spot for 700$ How kind. The day before, KBB says its worth 7grand. Anyway, Custom Motor Rebuilders came and Towed the Jeep for Free to their shop, replaced the Radiatored, machined the engine block head, new valve cover, water pump, plugs, the works. Fixed everything for a price that make me wonder how they make any money.. Just 1058$ ... I worked w/ Jerry on the phone and he was the nicest associate that kept me updated on its progress everytime i called. I recommend this place to EVERYONE that lives in Tulsa, and needs engine work. I also recommend NOONE ever go to Encinas for Anything.
