Came in for an appointment and was told to wait in the front. We waited after waiting for someone to assist us we were told to get in the back of the line (it was a pretty long line). We tried to explain nicely that we were here first and waiting. The person working there cut us off and would not listen to our part. We then tried to complain to someone else and he just shrugged us off with a lite apology and move on. I understand they are busy but it only takes a couple minutes to hear someone out, specially loyal customer like ourselves. Apple we know this location gets busy and love apple products, but work on your customer service.
It used to be a great experience at any Apple store you went to. This one in Southcrnter was great too. However today I went to the store to buy a lightning cable for one of my devices. I couldn’t get anyone to wait on me at first. When I finally did find someone he pointed out the cable and told me to get it and take it to a checkout table. Why didn’t he check me out like they usually do? This was an unnecessarily long process of about 20 minutes. While waiting to be checked out the checkout guy had a hard time understanding me through my mask. I pulled it down for 2 seconds to clarify something and was pretty well yelled at by an other employee. When I tried to just say it was down for just a second she yelled “put it on”. Is Apple going the way of the rest of the industry and just hoping to provide below average service to customers and shareholders? Pathetic. I did get what I needed so there’s that.
I have came to apple store today to buy a merchandise and the first associate I talked his name was Rodel, he treated and talked me disrespectfuly. I love apple products for home as well as my office. They have worst customer service I ever experienced
Temperature check, social distancing stickers on ground. And 1st thing someone will ask: If you have an appointment. Indeed, always available to help & plenty of people who are standing around on floor. Never have I waited more than a minute without being assigned a rep. Thanks. ( Parking between macys and 85 store in North Side Mall leads you to I- Apple store.
Went there to get my battery replaced, wanted to get my speaker sockets cleaned too. Apparently they replace the speakers when they replace the battery, according to them. Not only did they return to me my same uncleaned speakers on a 20% and declining charge phone, but they cracked my screen protector from end to end too. Thanks Apple :|
Had an issue with my MacBook. Although my experience with the Genius Bar tech was really good, my experience with the store manager Alex was abhorrent. Alex was truly the most arrogant, accusatory, dismissive, and unhelpful store manager I’ve dealt with in many years. I’m shocked that a company such as apple that values customer service so highly would elevate someone like him to a managerial position.Fortunately, I called apple’s main customer support over the phone and they were able to fix my problem.
Very unfriendly greeter. Waited for 45 minutes. Several employees standing together talking while customers wait for help. Left and went to Best Buy. Will not be back.
They went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. This is a very busy store but the customer service I received was outstanding. I will definitely recommend this store and will go back in the future.
I came here today to look at the Apple Watch that Im considering purchasing. I asked the guy who works there if I could try the two sizes and then I pointed the gold watch with gold band. Of course I know how much it costs but before he allowed me to “try” the watches he asked me this question “ARE YOU AWARE HOW MUCH THIS WATCH COSTS?” I guess the point of this low rating is do they ask the same question to all of their (potential) buyers?? Do they ask all the people of color this same question? I felt offended. He wouldnt even have to ask that question if I were white.
Supposed to make an appointment, I didnt know before hand so we went. We live 120 miles away, not something we do spur of the moment and so we were extremely happy to not have to wait very long. My old desktop PC died last fall and Ive been using my iPad since then. The new 2021 24 iMac will do me just fine. So happy to have all my questions answered.
Very busy... Even having an appointment doesnt seem to matter. I saw multiple people standing around. Not even someone to direct customers where to go. First Apple experience and lets just say Im not looking forward to having to visit the store for anything. My phone is cute tho, thanks.....
A lot of devices to try out and great place to test different things. However, as with most Apple stores, lacks the entertaining charm that Microsoft stores had before they shut down.
Dont like the wait for pick up and delivers need spot just for drivers for delivery. Then youll get 5 stars
Do not shop at this store. The worse service ever. Nobody wants to help you. Everyone is a technician and they do not want to help.
They were fast they got my iPad air4 almost immediately except they gave me the wrong storage and pencil. I was supposed to get the wifi & cellular 256gb iPad air and a 2nd generation apple pencil but instead they game me the wifi only 64gb and the 1st gen apple pencil and its not compatible at all with the iPad. I didnt notice until I got home. Im taking it back to the store sometime today and hopefully this time they get it right.
Need an appointment to go in currently, and they wont let you just browse on your own, they have a sales associate with you. Therefore, I didnt buy anything. I just wanted to browse on my own then ask questions.
I felt rushed and only one option was given for my watch repair. The watch continues to work perfectly, only the adhesive holding down the face had cause the face to remove from the casing. The associate said it would cause $199.00 to repair. I have since glued it myself. I waited over 5 hours to see someone and while waiting each associate I spoke with during that time brushed me off and told me “we will get to you as soon as we can”. I have spent well over $6,000.00 on Apple devices: iPhone 12 Max Plus, iPad Pro, MacBook Air laptop, Apple Watch, AirPods and have been a loyal Apple user for over 20 years, updating devices when necessary. Needless to say I was disappointed in the lack of customer service I received at your Tukwila store. I will reconsider purchasing the iMac 27” I had planned to purchase soon. I don’t feel good about spending $4,000.00 for a device only to receive HORRIBLE customer service.
Surprisingly I couldn’t find what I am looking for lot’s of show room I pads but nothing for sale haha
Needed to find a thumb drive to download pics from my iPad. And they had one.
Customer service was great. They solved our issue very quick. We got there an hour before closing, so there wasnt any lines outside the entrance.
Replaced my Airpods Pro case the next day. Service was fast and friendly.
These people should be wearing Superperson capes! I observed them dealing with a customer that could not be convinced that somebody had not taken control of their phone and they never let the situation get out of control. VERY knowledgeable about their products and unflappable.
Apple please remove without acknowledgement tech personWe are going to battery replacementThe lady from apple store she come and check my phone. Then she said you need to purchase the iCloud storage and back up, unless we won’t do to replace battery then she saw again the glass screen protector was crack but no cracking or damaged the screen. She mistakenly told me your phone is liquid damage and technician doesn’t replace the battery. The phone is completely no damage but the service lady’s tech knowledge was worse then what we know.
Security was great. Helped us find the right store.
Crowded as usual, slot of great stores.
Bad customers service and experience ever!!! They hold you and waste your time for nothing. Wouldnt recommend to anyone.
Great customer service . Second time I took my phone there for repairs. Friendly staff and patient to customers.
The waiting time here is even worse than at your local DMV. The waiting time for me was an hour and fifteen minutes just to pick up a repaired phone. Like some people said, reservation does not seem to matter, people just walk up to one of the genius and will get help, while people with reservation just wait forever to get help.
Cant walk in and just buy a computer. They wanted me to wait an hour, even though there were several staff just standing around talking. Trying to explain it to the person up front got me no where. Avoid this location if you can. This seems to be their standard service.
Bad customer service not happy helping people
Security staff present to pounce on you as you come in and aggressively require masks unlike other stores regardless of vaccination - only one other store in the mall, Disney, was like that. Comes across as virtue signalling instead of concern.
Visited the apple store for repair and the team leader is impatient. He doesn’t get my name correctly even after spelling out correctly several times. Finally he said go away.My father tried to talk to him. He said do not talk. The manager and the team Leader INSULTED. us.Worst of the worst. They are high ego people with bad attitude.
Very good customers services i love it
Very poor service customer. Super packed that’s why I made my purchase online but when I went to pick it up the person on the door told me to ignore it and go to make the single long line.
If I could I would give this store a zero star, don’t get me wrong the person that helped me was great, but because of the way the manager treated me I have to feel this way, I had a 3:10 appointment and sat there until 3:27 with no one even paying attention to me, I received a important phone call but service was bad so I walked to a spot in the store where no one was at, suddenly the store manager out of nowhere comes up to me and tells me I need to stay in my place, mind you no one was near me where I was and I get it they take COVID very serious there, but do not talk to me as if I’m your child and tell me “I have to follow your direction or I’m gonna have to ask you to leave” never have a felt that disrespected in a retail store! If I was wrong there were other ways to tell me but she basically yelled at me, if my phone wasn’t urgent to get fixed I would have exchanged a few words with her but it wasn’t worth it to me. Just know I will never go back to that store again and I don’t know how someone with an attitude like that can become and remain a store manager.
AMAZING SERVICE!! I went here to get my MacBook Pro fixed. (shoutout to Mark and Jason!!!) I am a loyal Apple fan and their service never disappoints me.I am not sure why this store is rated down so negatively. At first upon reading the reviews, I was hesitant to visit this store (even though I have went here before on occasion; got my iPhone 5s fixed here several years ago), and wanted to visit the Apple store in University Village instead. I figured it wasnt worth the drive down there and I would receive the same service as I did in U-Village.There is a waiting line. I recommend buying on the Apple website and having the products delivered to your house, OR scheduling an appointment with an Apple specialist to see which product suits your needs. YES, you need to wear a mask properly (i.e. over your nose) to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
Ok... only busy place in entire mall
The quality of customer service is extremely low and unfriendly.
Poor service. The rejected to repair my iPhone faceid which was because of a hardware failure.
I had an appointment. I was early Still have to wait. 5-6 people at front entrance just to greet people. It took 2 minutes for someone to actually greet me.Then i was takin to a seat waites somewhere not once did any one say anything to me. I set an appointment a couple of days ago and waited just to wait to be helped. Service needs improvement.
I am exceptionally happy with the service and customer support I have received at this store. Yesterday I had an appointment with a Genius Bar person and was able to resolve 2 big problems that I couldnt figure out or remedy on my own. Everyone I encounter was so polite and so helpful. It isnt the first time I have experienced that level of customer service excellence at this store. I am firmly convinced that getting an iPhone from the Apple Store is the best way to go. I dont care what kind of offer the cell phone service providers use to lure you into buying an iPhone from them, the best way to go is to buy directly from Apple if you want to avoid any kind of frustration. The completely support the Apple product. I wont buy a cell phone from any other manufacturer or from any source other than directly from Apple.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Fun to visit.
On 11/5, I purchased a new phone for my daughter, as well as a screen protector for her new phone and one for my old phone, as well. Within a week, there were bubbles and cracks in both...which leads me to believe it was an installation error (they were installed at the store). When we went in today, we were told that we could only get a replacement if we sent in a new one. Frustrating to encounter a manager with no authority to solve the problem, instead sending us off to resolve it through the “3rd party” product’s replacement service. Apple has fun products, but nothing turns me off on a company like robotic, pass-the-buck customer service. I was in the market to replace my Apple 10-year old desktop, but I’ll definitely be researching other options.
Friendly and good priced
I went to this store twice to discuss Bluetooth connection issues to different cameras, headphones, and cars with my iPhone 11 Pro. My phone wasn’t recognizing these devices even though other phones find them. The technician in the store checked the phone and he said it worked. I tried it again but it didn’t work. I went again and he said it works even though it wasn’t. He ended up telling me that the problem is with the other devices and not the phone just to push the problem away.
The worst of the worst. If you dont like modding things then you are in the roght place. But if you like to customize your games and play some classic nes, n64,psp and etc. Get an android phone. I do npt recommend thos tp someone who has android device unless you are ready to be lock up on apps and music to pay.
Great Service and too selections of lot of products.
Bit too crowded, overpriced.
Came here to fix my broken screen on my iPhone and was told that it was going to be a one and a half hour wait, and they will text me in an hour and a half (exactly what the Apple Store employee told me). I didn’t have a problem with that since I wanted to walk around in the mall. I have been at the South Center Mall since 145pm. After 2 hours of waiting, I still haven’t received a text message from the Apple Store. So I decided to go inside. I was very disappointed that I was told my appointment was scheduled at 5pm (mind you I’ve been at the mall since 145pm). I was not told that I was scheduled for 5pm, nor did I receive a text message with my appointment time. I had to rearrange many of my personal plans to accommodate this “one and a half hour wait”. The “manager” that I spoke with looked like he didn’t care about my concerns when I told him to tell his employees to stop misinforming people. Now it’s 423pm as I’m writing this review and still in the parking lot waiting for a text from them. The frustration is the misinformation. Poor customer service on the managers part as well!
I wanted to buy iphon XS Max charger, they charge me 43,$ + some cents but that’s not iPhone charger when I open the case it’s something deferent not iPhone charger, it’s been more Than 3 months I still have the bill. Here is the photo. Now I want return or exchange there is no appointment. Just lose money for no reason.
Just picked up a new apple watch for my wife and they gave it to us without a wristband.Uh. Fun gift...
Giving 5 stars for Mark at the Genius Bar. My MacBook Pro unexpectedly broke and I didn’t have anything backed up. He gave me an alternative solution and worked with me over the course of 3 days to ensure that I successfully recovered all of my files. He was soo persistent and never gave up on me even when I lost hope. He is amazing! Anyone who gets him at the Genius Bar will be in good hands.
I would stick with the phone techs they are very kind and do there best. Store folks have no customer empathy.
My laptop is locked in the store and no one seems to care. I was told my repaired laptop was ready for pickup on Thursday, I went on Friday to pick it up to find the store closed “until further notice”, there was no warning via email or phone. I called Friday to try get more information, there was no new information. I called Saturday and was told the store would reopen Monday. It’s now Monday and I’ve been told the store will reopen tomorrow. I’ve spent 2 hours on the phone today only to be told there is nothing anyone at Apple can do to get in contact with the store manager or to secure my laptop. I understand there is a lot going on in the world with Covid and wildfires, but people just want transparency and information. If you have to closed, tell us. If you have to stay closed for 2 more weeks, tell us. I cannot do my work properly without my laptop and if you won’t return my property, I need to make other arrangements.
I spent $1300 to get the latest 12 Pro Max yesterday 12/29 at the Southcenter Apple store and the attendant that served me looked like he would rather be somewhere else, he was impatient and rude and just cause im black and of African descent he kept being condescending and belittling me. The whole experience soured what should have been really exciting day....
Very friendly staff and as a courier they were most helpful in Expediting my process
It’s sad and disappointing that kids that work at this place act like graduates from Harvard, at least the kid who was “trying” to listen to the issues have with my phone before entering the store, today’s date at 2:30pm.I just had a simple question hoping to get posible solutions but instead I’ve got “ If you already tried that there is nothing “we” can do... his body language said “next” his attitude said “I don’t care” his demeanor was the worst...
Extremely bad service. Not customer-focused, just money.
This is what I got for $1500. I bought the best IPad it has never worked right. I have 50 plus hours into tech support. I have been in to the store 3 times. The first time they told me it was defective. THATS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TELLING YOU FOR 2 MONTHS!!!You have to come back next week when we can get one in. YOU DONT HAVE ONE? ISNT THIS AN APPLE STORE???I go back and they give me a refurbished piece of junk that someone else turned in as defective. This one just has a different problem. WOULD THESE STRIPES BOTHER YOU!!! That’s why it does before it randomly shuts off. Yesterday I had an appointment for 4:15 to exchange it again, so I make the 2 hour round trip for the 3rd time. WHEN I GET THERE THEY ARE CLOSED!!! THE MALL IS OPEN, IT SATURDAY AFTERNOON!!!I called Apple, their solution....schedule another appointment and they will exchange it for another refurbished one that someone turned in as defective.True story, I don’t believe it myself. This has to be a nightmare and I will wake up soon.
As Im not an Apple fan but the store is well established and COVID compliant. Customers wait in a line before entering if the store is at COVID capacity. But they dont let you wait if they can help it.
I did not have an appointment when i went to the store because I live 1 hr away also, reservation online is NOT always available and there was none for the next 7 days. The Apple store security I spoke with checked with her manager (a store associate) but he told me I have to make an appointment or call the toll free for assistance. I ask if he can quickly troubleshoot my phone problem but he insisted to make an appointment online. These personnel are STUCK to the appointment only and DOES NOT HAVE an associate on standby outside to assist walk-in costumers. When I turned around he stood there talking to the security personnel and BS instead of assisting costumers. THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE RATED AT 0 if there is one. MANAGER, set aside at least ONE knowledgeable, professional, and polite associate outside for quick assistance. This review has also been sent to Apple.
Fastest experience in and out getting a new iPhone. Allison helped us get old phone traded in and got some awesome promos on the newest iPhone!!!
I was disappointed in the visit. The management was not responsible
Apple customer service is only getting worse. My brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max didn’t work straight out of the box. Apple flat out wouldn’t return it said ATT is responsible. ATT was used to it apparently, They printed out a policy page highlighted the section that said apple is responsible. Back to apple, I talk to the same person... show them the ATT policy... they exchange my phone... apple customer care is complete garbage.
Good staff. Ask about the current deals for the day...
The store treats COVID-19 perfectly by strictly following the rules. However, I do not like how some staff or sales specialist treat their customers during the shopping session. The purpose I was trying to go to the shopping session is to get informed better about the product and get suggestions on the choice of products. The sale specialists I had, she, seems like do not want my money for her sales performance (if the company ever have one). There were couple points I do not like during the whole session. First of all, she was not introducing the products and just tell me to go online and look for it. And lastly, her attitude when she answered my questions about the products and the availability of the products was rude and treating me like someone who annoys her. This was the first time I made appointment for shopping sessions, but I think I will never make appointments again in this store.
Nice, its just way busy went I went down there. Thank you
Never buying an iPod again
Genius Bar. Excellent.
Yes it was interesting.
This store used to have friendly, cooperative and professional staff, but now it’s filled with aggressive, non-helpful, and rude employees. Had a worse experience recently😡
I always liked the location of this Apple store for convenience despite sporadic weird attitude of the staff, but today’s experience was overwhelmingly frustrating. I had my temperature checked and waited in line 15 minutes while the store staff was helping a client in the middle of the mall looking things up online as if they can’t do it elsewhere, and when it is my turn, I am denied entry because I have to have appointment to shop.Understandable that COVID has restrictions but when someone is there to buy a product what does it even mean to send them off home and have them make reservations and come back AGAIN! Is that supposed to keep me or others safe to have to go there twice?! I did talk to the manager who said there’s nothing that can be done (I wonder what she manages then if she can’t make that kind of a decision). I even asked her to let me go in and I’ll be done in 5 minutes because I just wanted to see the product (mini HomePod) up close before buying, but she wouldn’t accept.Does it mean Apple is encouraging me to order online and return (which has a lot more environmental impacts) and doesn’t necessarily reduce possible COVID threat because someone already opens the packaging and if they don’t like it they return it. It’s a waste of resources. And if they are so strict why would they even keep the stores open?! They might as well close down the store if too concerned about COVID. Does an appointment make me immune?
I ordered phone 01/27/2021 and I had to pick up the next day,but the store close for covid-19 I just got one called said Sunday it was open. Sunday, coming I went to that store still close. Why the manager or staff not contact me for that I called they still said your purchase ready to pick up and store is open, what was open,it store dark no lights turn on why that guy picrked up my phone call saying come to the store. It made me mad 😡I dont know how many start should I put on Zero |-O today 04 of February, how many day from The day I purchased until now still no get my phone I tried to cancel cant either.
Apple will always be apple. Great experience as usual.
Exhausting ly long line here. I no longer use Apple products anyway...
They wouldnt let us in and they fifteen minutes to closing. I wouldnt go there again
Oh man! I drove a long distance to fix the technical issue of my Apple Watch. The website says the shop is open but it is closed with no notification on the window. There were no crew in site as well. I am disappointed with this costumer service. I am sure over 10 people waiting at the shop’s door have similar feeling. :(
Wasnt at Apple southcenter. Its been called Westminster mall for years. And I still wasnt at Apple. Didnt even see Apple. Did see Att and T-Mobile.
It has what you are looking for in most cases but I get a used car salesmen vibe hardcore here so idk
I had cash in hand and the dumb girl wouldn’t let me in to buy a laptop because I didn’t have an appointment and the website says nothing about making a reservation. Apple just lost a customer for life!
Very good, My Sister got their brand new Apple x series Watches!
They had a large inventory of Apple products.
Made me wait in line then say they dont have walk ins right now 10/ mins chuck this store out who needs that trash anyways
Its a small Apple store where you get to buy products and also repair your Apple phones if they have technical issues.
They’re slow & don’t honor appointments. zero signs for where to stand in line, and the “security” team stood around on their phones and gave poor directions for what to do. Had to ask 3 people where the stand before I got to the right place.
Apple’s new COVID policy: You need a reservation or online order, except there are literally no options to get in today or pickup an online order today...or tomorrow...or the next day. There are actually ZERO available appointment windows to come into the store, ever! I lost my power charger and need to power my laptop on to do work. So now I’m forced to use their courier service to get one today and pay a $9 delivery fee on top of the already ludicrously priced power adapter/cord (at $108) - meaning they have it in stock and are just refusing to sell it storefront so they can force people to get it delivered. Icing on the cake: I got not so much as a “sorry for the inconvenience” or any sort of empathy from the guy standing out front. Just a “that’s the way it is, deal with it” vibe. Using a pandemic as an excuse for highway robbery and poor customer service is not acceptable, in my (Mac)book. You’ve disappointed me, Apple!
We heard three different rules from three different employees about the COVID-19 protocol. It got very frustrating but Vlad was there to save the day. Vlad was chill, extremely patient, and understanding. Vlad explained the COVID-19 protocols throughly and because of him, I was able to cop the new iPhone. Shoutout to the homeboy Vlad!
I bought an iPhone 11 from apple store in southCenter Takwilla, they sold it without putting the charger for me😠 they only told me about headphones 🎧 is not include, I said, It’s ok and not a big deal but when I arrived back home and open the iPhone box, I didn’t see any charger 🔌 includ😠 !!!! I am so sad about, because it takes time to go back and pick up the charger..... while I called them, they apologized and recommended me to come and pick up a charger .....Is it possible to buy iPhone without charger 🔌😠 in SouthCenter Takwilla apple store???????????
Person who helped us was rude, passive aggressive and very unprofessional. Her name was Pamela
If you live in Renton or Kent or Tukwila and a suburban apple store in an over-crowded mall is what you want, then you’re good to go here. Went on a Friday evening—(my mistake?)—the mall was full of unmasked young people, spreading corona around the mall like chocolate frosting on a birthday toddler.I also was not able to go inside the store because I didn’t have a reservation, needed in these pandemic times. But the apple website did not make that clear. What a wasted trip! If you aren’t a suburbanite and need to get to apple in the city—go to University village. It’s in the city, so that’s a huge bonus. It has free parking garages, just like the big burb malls. And don’t forget to plan ahead and register.
July 2020 you have to stand in line to get your temperature taken and COVID questions asked. Then stand in line until you get up to someone who ask why your there. We were the to buy a laptop. Then they schedule you an appointment to shop. Which was 2 hours away. Had to go sit somewhere go wait. Then you come back and get in another line for thoes that have an appointment. When someone comes up and verifies you get to go in. It took us 15 min. We already knew what we wanted. It would be nice if you could schedule online. Or a big sign that says what their process is. So you do not lose 3 hours in your day. Another idea would be some window to arrange an appointment as soon as you get there. And then when its your time you get the scanning of temperature and covid questions asked before you are let in. The sign on the outside says they are only allowed 20 people at a time. The customer service was great once in and getting what needed was a breeze.
Great customer service !
Picked up my iwatch yesterday and Im so loving this thing. So worth the money and Im very happy I bought it. I wanted to pick up a few other things in the store, but soon enough I will.
