Glad to find a location still in existence - good job for BEING.THAT SAID, location had some fairly empty areas and floor space undergoing some sort of renovation.I was placed that we were able to find some big and tall items for my husband that are very difficult to find normally. On the other hand, we were disappointed by the EXTENDED weight at the register in order to get a CSM to complete the markdown/sale. Its a good thing I am patient, because my husband got fed up and left and would have walked out on the transaction had I not remained there.

I love shopping at Pennys. I just looked around the store and it was a great experience looking through all the departments was so much fun! Disney has a.fine jewelry line that has a Cruella inspired ring and more! So much fun at the mall, on-line is great too but its nice to go try things on and talk to people. Love Pennys and the mall💳❤️🤩😎

Oh my gosh. I found the shoes I wanted for awhile on sale. $27.00. They were $60. What a deal. I got 3 pair!!!

I bought two shirts thinking that they would fit since I got him a size bigger! As far as t-shirts go I wear an extra large. I was buying a dress shirt short sleeve and decided I didnt have time to try it on so just get the double extra large. And no it doesnt fit at all!

We went here so that my son could get a haircut. He had called ahead and made an appointment. They werent busy or crowded at 1:00 in the afternoon on a weekday. This particular hairdresser was just okay. Hes had better ones there, but COVID has messed things up and his favorite one isnt there anymore.

This spot is great post pandemic. Great customer service. They helped me save money by telling me about on line coupons! Its actually refreshing to be able to shop with less people in the store.

Havent been here since way before the pandemic. Took in some of the holiday sales. No employees in site, except for your cashiers, fine jewelry and a very kind gal at the dressing room.there is really only 1 dressing room now near the shoe department. Upon checkout I was asked if I wanted a bag to buy. I asked to buy, really? Yes she said. $.08 bag fee that started on July 3rd, just FYI.

Finally found someone who cuts & highlights my hair the way I like it! Tiphanie does a great job and is always fun to chat with.

Getting engagement photos done. Staff was extremely nice and explained everything. The only bummer is the photos have to be mailed to you instead of in store pick up. 10-14 days. But if you buy the digital album photos will be ready in 24-48 hours and can print them anywhere. Pretty cool just wont get the resolution like their prints have. By appointment only.

All great and had a wonderful day with my 👨‍👩‍👧and was a bit crowded.

This location is located inside Westfield Southcenter but also has a separate entrance from east side of the mall. The street level has women’s section and 1st floor is all men. It has good collection of shoes, shirts, jeans and suits at affordable price. The quality of items is as per pay. The staff are pretty quick at checkout. But you don’t see the staff assisting customers in selection. The trail rooms have accessible entrance. There are escalators to move across floors.

I have always liked JCPenneys they will take care of you well they have good products and good prices.

In my opinion, overpriced. They sell at the msrp (manufacturers suggested retail price and their sales are discounts off of the msrp, not from their own pricing. Found this to be particularly true in mens suits.Msrp VS store pricing has traditionally been different because of volume purchases and sales. Larger big box stores could give you discounts well below msrp even before a sale . No so these days. This may not be true for everything but that its true from one visits experience is enough to trust the practice is likely more common than not.

Nice store to shop at. But its sorting wasnt on par. Had everything you would ever need but it would take a normal person a while to find everything.

Huge selection of dresses which happened to be what I was looking for.It was a bit of a wait in line to purchase my items. They seemed to be having a few system problems as the customer in front of me was trying to charge her JcPenney card on file and it wasnt letting her. Then I tried using a gift card and it wasnt looking that. The clerk was so patient and kept trying new things until she got it to work.

They follow u around everywhere then make accusations of stealing. I have five kids and am a single parent. I know how to shop hence I had so much in my cart. I left the products and spent my💰 somewhere else though

I was in Jewelry having a terrible time getting a ring sized that was a gift for my daughter bc no receipt. Went to Tammie in return and online service and she saved the day was able to help us in no time and was friendly in assistance. She solved our problem thank you ! Jewelry was a mess in the beginning of our visit not helpful at all :( yay for Tammie :)

Lost my cell phone while shopping Nordstrom and Penneys. Contacted both stores; figured it must have dropped out of the small outside pocket of my purse. Within a very short time, this sweet gal from Penneys phoned me at home saying We found It! We have it secured in our safe in our office. I think she was nearly as excited as I was. I told her that I had prayed that God would direct someone honest to find it, to which she replied Well we know God answers our prayers! Thank you Penneys for employing people of this integrity!!

They have done a pretty good job of trying to limit how COVID is capable of being spread while shopping. Minimal rolling carts, no carry baskets and 6-ft spot while waiting to pay for their purchases..

I was there to pick up my order at 8:40 with posted hours closing at 9:00. When I got to the doors a manager locking the doors stating they closed at 8 right next to hours of 10-9!!

Clean, organize, very helpful, neat cashiers,Would recommend anyone to the store within the southcenter Mall to at least meet the cashiers and get to know the items you specify will either be there promptly or not.

I really love shopping here the staff is knowledgeable and professional. Honestly the sales both online and in the store are fantastic. I certainly do feel like Im getting my monies worth. I do buy online and pickup at the store and their pick up process is pretty good never a long wait and so far theyve never lost anything so Im pretty happy with it.

Very irritating online experience. I ordered sandals for my toddler and got an email saying to wait for pick up instructions and that it was still processing. Okay cool. Then I checked back on the website and it said it was canceled 6+ hours later with NO form of communication saying so. Now I’m on hold with customer service to see WHY and when ill be refunded. If you guys are going to cancel orders at least tell us why. If you don’t have it in stock don’t post it online! Oh and it’s estimated that I will be on hold for 29 minutes. I will NEVER buy anything online from here again. Waste of time!!!!!Edit: I’ve now been on hold for 40+ minutes!!!!!!!!

I came here to buy a Dockers style pair of cotton business casual pants. Not only do they have nothing close, the pants offered were $79 ! I find it quite ironic that JCP is closing stores when there overall prices are ridiculously priced. They lost a former good customer.

Overall the store is good but most things areon line not on the store.

Dont even bother theres no sales associate on the floor, no check out. I literally walked around an found a new hire who knew nothing and couldnt help me make a purchase. Just close already.

It was pretty well kept seeing that everything was on sale I was in there 3 times in one week looking for the perfect dress kept running out of time because I worked so late and they actually let me put the dresses on hold for me without my s.s. # lol because I didnt get a chance to try them on thank Goodness for the lady that works in the dressing room I felt like she was a family member helping me pick the best dress for this (covid 25) weight gain, Ive never ever been treated that nice by anyone working at any store and it wasnt a fake help either.

Im giving it a 4 because I like JC. If you have time they have great sales but you will have to go threw a lot of clothes/racks. There front door is finally working on the mall front side.

My online order was filled same day, for pick-up In store, where I was helped so nicely by the gal in Pick-up and Returns area. She guided me downstairs, afterwards, so I could look at more items, where I found Alice, who personally helped me find some perfect items to look at. All in all, JC Penney still has excellent Sales Associates in customer service, and I love shopping there!

It looked clean and they had exactly what i was looking for, sadly they arent able to keep there dressing rooms open bc they arent able to sanitize them in a timely manner (ik this has to do with covid) but you are able to return things

This is probably the place where I buy the most clothes because I can pick up orders at the store for reduced shipping. Im really going to miss them when they are gone.

I am always surprised at how nice it is to shop at this store. They have a great selection of mens clothing and shoes. I much prefer this store to the overpriced Macys at the other end of the mall. I bought some socks online and they werent what I wanted. The return was very easy at the store and I was able to get the ones I wanted.
