Only complaint I ever had was this one pretentious employee who seems to have left since the businesse changed hands. GOOD RIDDANCE! The only shop I go to anymore

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Although it was a bit of a slow time. I give credit where credit is due. Nice selection of holsters as well. Great customer service just buy two guns salesman was great at explaining all about the gun,I even brought one of my old guns to fix they call me two days after that the gun was ready and a big thanks to Sierra she was great explaining the buying process!

Just stopped in here a few days ago while working in Tucson. I had not been in this place in over 26 years since moving back to Phoenix. It used to be called Jensens. I bought a spare mag and two boxes of ammo and the prices were not over priced. They were at pre-pandemic prices. 22 magnum ($13.50) and 32 S&W Long ($21.00) prices have stayed the same. The mag was about what I would have paid online. Customer service was okay. I dont mind people swearing, but when the sales people are doing it, its unprofessional. Good selection of guns. Prices are all over the place. Some were spot on and others were just to high compared to other places. I guess its the current market.

Great spot to go to if you want the gunsmith to break your rifle, not take responsibility, and still make you pay.

Defiantly dont buy air pistol fur any type of protector kr self defense and dont expect staff to tell you not good idea wont help you! And then to think that the receipt was in my purse in my car that was STOLEN and GodForbid, they wont let me rerun the air pistol because dont have receipts, well maybe not having receipt but no box, and Im not even certain had one, because something I bought didbt have one, I remember sales Lady saying something about it! Well the CRIMINALS certain having Good laugh! At least staff should know product well enough to know, Im NOT a crininal, but for them to not even make a return special circumstances, oh no box, wow because take the loss, which wouldnt be one, because youll certainly lose more than what that cost from me personally now! Turner s is based out of California, and comes with California policies and California pricing to Tucson. No more store warranites honored, but you can pay above avrage pricing for the gun smiths. Ammo? Ask yourself, what would you be paying in LA? The location was great beacuse they were mid-town, but the new business owernship (Turners) makes it no longer worth going to.

I bought a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm Shield EZ on 6-15-2020. I am really happy with the purchase and as a first time buyer, my salesman Kevin did a great job. He was patient, product knowledgeable, spent time with us and took us to some excellent selections designed for our needs. The licensing process was made easy with the assistants in the back. To me, its not just about the weapon, its about the service. Great job folks!

Went to browse the shop during the pandemic, hoping to find something that would make me feel safer in these times. There was absolutely no social distancing in place and none of the employees or customers in the shop were wearing masks. It was extremely packed and I was unable to even browse through the store. After seeing the back lash from the owner on bad reviews; it shows lack of care for customer needs and there for lack of professionalism. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, as am I.

I went in pretty blind. I had an idea of what I wanted and what I wanted to spend. Robert was a tremendous help. Staying within my budget he helped me find everything I needed to get started, as well as showing me some cool stuff to look into in the future. the entire staff was super genuine and a joy to be around. Dis liked the additude of staff in trying to place a simple order request to get something on line that they are continuity out of stock. That is the point of special orders.

Very unsatisfied with service from this shop. Ordered an item that requires ATF approval in June. The ATF approved the purchase in November. The ATF has 45 days to deliver the tax stamp to the dealer (typically 30 days, but extended to 45 due to COVID). It has ben 45 days and Turners cannot tell me whether or not they have the stamp or when they can transfer it to me. The only person able to perform the transfer apparently lives in Montana, and they do not have a date when this person will return to Tucson. They said maybe in two weeks, maybe later. It has been multiple week since this person was last in Tucson to transfer property to their owners. This is just absolutely dreadful customer service, and poor planning by Turners. I would think long and hard about ever using this shop for an NFA item.

Purchased a beautiful 45 caliber pistol and ammunition! The service was excellent, the background check took maybe 10 minutes and we were out the door. My husband said he felt like a little boy at Christmas! I highly recommend this store to anyone.

I just went to look at and purchase a pistol they had in stock. Before I even held it my hands, the salesman became condescending and rude. Obviously youve never held a gun before I was ready to walk out, but I bought it because I wanted it. F you Robert. Then the paperwork mess in the back. 3 times before they said I got it right. On the drive home they called me. I had to return to store. My NEW CCW permit ( holder for for over 15 years ) wasnt active yet.. So I returned to store. They thanked me over and over again for returning. I sat around a bit. And I left again with the pistol I purchased. I will NEVER go back there! Wow

This one time I literally felt out of place and embarrassed because of the comment made. And for the record I was not there for 9mm. I was there for 22cal to teach my son to shoot.

Do not buy from this place they charge a restocking fee that is non refundable even if you are able to buy the firearm and not denied.

It was my first time at the store and the staff was very friendly and made everything easy. They have a wide selection to choose from as well.

On multiple occasions the staff at the gun counter have been so rude and stand off ish towards my husband and I, its not what Id really expect from any customer service, they act like were an inconvenience instead of customers. The people in the ammo section however have always been so nice and helpful, it just doesnt excuse the sub par customer service we receive at the gun counter.

Awesome experience! I bought my first firearm today from Robert, my husband has purchased several from here in the past and we always come here because of the great attention we receive. Robert walked me through many many options with extreme patience until we found the right option for me. And then did it all over again for my husband. The gals in the back are also so nice and work very fast to get you out quickly, they are fun and efficient. I have bought over 12 assorted weapon here and find the prices very fair, especially when on sale. Paul the manager is very friendly and knowledgeable and remembers you as an individual not just a customer. Their weapons when bought new are lifetime guaranteed by them. Match that anywhere else. All optics purchased there are mounted free and bore sighted. Their ammo is a bit high but no matter how exotic a caliber you want they will have it. They also have a good reloading supply and employees that can advise you on reloading. A very hands on store that doesnt mind you handling the weapons. Very safety concious with weapons handling. I have recommended the store to many and it is the only store I deal with anymore and I live 50 miles away.

So I took my wife into the store to get some work done on her Bersa. The staff was very helpful, but I have learned that they will sell you the gun before doing your back ground check. If it is held up because everyone is buying guns now, you cant take the gun with you. So If your decide not to complete the purchase and have them just refund the money they will charge you 20% restock fee on a gun that never left the store. So on a $600.00 purchase they want to keep $120.00 of your money for not letting you have the gun on the day you bought it. Really bad business practice.

I wanted to get into concealed carry with my first firearm. YouTube only helped so much, with all the subjective opinions of what brands to get into or what characteristics I should looking for in a pistol. With an idea in mind, I walked into the store thinking I knew what I wanted, but Robert at Second Amendment shared his personal knowledge and experiences with me, explaining how to properly conceal even full size handguns, and realistic day and night situations. However, he made sure it was ultimately up to me to decide what I wanted to go with, and trusting his expertise, I made a choice I feel I will really enjoy both at the range and for concealment, which was very far from what I originally thought. Not only that, but it was with humor and warmth, not pushy and elitist. And it wasnt just with him, it really seems like the people here get along and really like to work with each other. I just ordered a handgun online from another site because it was alot cheaper and they didnt have the crimson trace laser model in stock and was told they have that firearm in stock without the laser so was told I would be charged $100 for the ffl fee vs the normal $20 to $50 normal fee.. totally not cool at all!

The best!!! Bought a new S&W .500 Magnum. It had some manufacturer issues and Paul R. told me to bring it back and theyll take care of it. Boy did these guys take care of it! Since they didnt have my exact model they gave me another one but upgraded it at no extra cost... We are so impressed with their customer service that we will always buy from Second Amendment Sports.As president of the Mammoth Arizona Gun Club, I will go out of my way to let every member know how awesome they are!

On Saturday I purchased a new Smith and Wesson m&p shield 45. When I got home to clean it the recoil spring assembly came completely apart and the rod was bent. I took it back Monday morning and the manager Paul immediately took care of me by having the armours check the gun and installing a new RSA assembly. Thats great customer service thank you.

I started visiting and buying items ($50-$850) from here within the last 6-8 weeks. It started out great, the staff was helpful and freindly. However, over the last several visits it seemed that the staff became more unfriendly and could care less about the customer. Today, I inquired about doing a layaway on a rifle, I was told abruptly and stirly NO! After I asked about the layaway the salesman (very old man) wanted the rifle back, so he could assist another customer, as he said That is actually buying a gun today! With an attitude like that I decided I would not buy from them. I went over to look at the reloading presses, and a younger salesman with curly hair (looks like he has not combed his hair for a long time), asked if I had any questions. I mentioned about the place not doing layaway anymore, and he started lecturing me about how layaways make them lose money, how its a waste of time and money, and kept lecturing me about business, like he is the 18 version of a tycoon! I go to a gun shop to buy guns, not to listen to some kid lecture me about business. About a month ago, I found a rare find of a rifle, the staff at the gun counter (next to the register) told me that a transfer fee would be $100! Are you kidding me? I thought I found a decent gun shop, but what I found was a rip off shop! Without customers, there will be no gun shop! I thought a gun shop named after the 2nd Amendment would be a patriotic store, not what this place seems to be! Needless to say, I will not be shopping here, and I will be shopping elsewhere! Seems more like Walmart than a gun shop!

Price and selection are great but you wind up standing around for 20 to 30 minutes waiting to be helped.

Second Amendment is always my first stop! Robert was very helpful, answered ALL of my questions and helped me choose the rifle I wanted. He was courteous and respectful. Jeanne and Tiffany were helpful with the paperwork process and answered my questions responsibly and respectfully. I highly recommend Second Amendment Sports! I would give 10 stars if applicable.

Great customer service-they set the bar. Very helpful and pleasant to this novice. I have purchased 2 firearms from them. Each time they took time to make sure I understood what I was purchasing and if it was the right one for me. Gary, in the ammo dept, was very helpful in explaining the different types and bargains available to me. I always feel comfortable with the staff and confident they will steer me in the right direction.

I have been going there since it was Jensens. I have bought many rifles there, I really dont know how many.... a lot. I have always been treated with respect and honesty. What else can you ask for? What i appreciate the most is if you go there looking for something specific, if they dont have it, they offer to order it for you. They dont try to turn you to something else that they have in stock just to make a sale. They have a good selection and a knowledgeable staff. I read one review where a guy knocked them because a staff member couldnt answer specifics of velocity and energy between bullet weights. Really? I have been a competitive long range shooter since getting out of the Army in 1969 and I cant tell you the muzzle energy of anything specifically. This is a class gun shop.

Fantastic service! Probably the largest selection of firearms I’ve ever seen in any gun shop. Picked up my first AK and a gentleman took the time to help me pick out accessories, ammo & answered any questions I had! Prices were very competitive and fair as well!

Big firearm inventory, knowledgeable staff, fast service on gun purchases, they sell 12 guns per day usually, thats 1 every 3/4 hour they are open. Good prices, they even beat Buds Guns on a new firearm I bought. Their rep. is good including gunsmithing. My go-to place. Would give 5-stars if they had a shooting range and offered coffee.

Nice store inside and out, they have all you need for the range and more. The prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend going here for beginners especially they could just pick up the things you need quick and get started.

Just found the Second Amendment shop as I am a new resident of Tucson. I had been searching for a small concealable hand gun and was over whelmed with the huge selection I found there. The several employees I interacted with were very professional and courteous. I purchased a new Sig hand gun and some accessories and am completely satisfied with my shopping experience there. Gary in the ammo department was also great!

Each time I go in, they greet me immediately if not they do shortly after. All the guys have been extremely helpful at helping me pick, buy, and obtaining accessories with ease. The ammo section is amazing, with various selections. Tyler, who is there each time I go helps me find the right ammo, and makes great suggestions.

Stopped by this place to see what the hype was all about. It’s a pretty nice place with a big selection of firearms to choose from. The guy behind the ammo counter was awesome especially considering that we had the same alma mater. The only issue I had with that place is that, although I didn’t buy a firearm here, my experience felt very streamlined and commercialized. I didn’t feel like a valued customer but more like a number. I was expecting more from a locally business but that wasn’t the case. I had a much more personal experience at Diamondback. Idk if I’ll personally be back but I’m sure it’s a good place to shop the right person.

Ive been going here for a while, Ive been to every other shop in town, this is by far my favorite. They are definitely not the closest, but they are worth my 53min drive. I love these guys! Super helpful, willing to answer the rookie questions lots of experience, to answer the harder questions. Ive bought archery stuff, Targets, ammo, scopes, bags, sites, holsters, and lots of guns, and a supressor from here. Each time was a great experience.

By far not a customer service or friendly experienced store. Ask simple question to Angel if they have a Kimber .45 cal Stainless available. I get a deep breath & asked what part number Im looking for; I reiterate what Im looking for & I get a deep sigh.......then with the most rudest way he can put it says Ill get to yeah in a couple of minutes & never comes back on the line after 10 minutes. When you first walk through the doors of this shop and take a glance to the left to see their collection of firearms you immediately hear bald eagles screeching from all the freedom happening inside this shop. Then you walk into that part of the shop and you just see red, white and blue and the smell of what its like to be an American. This large store features a great selection of products for the hunter and shooter. From new and used guns (check the racks of used rifles on the floor in the back for great bargains) to a great selection of spare magazines, knives and ammunition. Archery products, airguns and a good supply of outdoor clothes and backpacks as well as telescopic sights and bits for your custom AR rifle build are also here.

Staff was great and really helped me find the fire arm right for me. Showed and taught me about some features firearms have and eventually helped me to pick a firearm that I was most comfortable with. A lot of variety to choose from would definitely go back for my next forearm

TERRIBLE Customer Service. I went there today to possibly pick up some parts. Granted the place was a little busy. The parts I needed to look at were behind a case that customers were not allowed to go behind. I waited and waited. The first older gentlemen asked me if I needed help (while he was with a customer) and said he would get someone. I waited and waited. Another older gentlemen came by and I asked him for some help. He told me: so does everyone else in here, youre going to have to wait. So I waited and waited. All in all, I spent about 15 minutes waiting. FINALLY a younger guy across the room went down the line and asked a couple if they needed help, the couple said no. Then he asked another couple, they said no too. I saw and heard him. I raised my hand and asked: Sir, I could use some help please. His response: Youre going to make me walk all the way over there?!No Sir, I guess not. was my reply as I began to leave the store.I know I wasnt going to buy a high dollar weapon, but I was going to spend some money. Now I am going to spend my money at another local store or online. I will never be going to this store again. The customer service I DIDNT receive there today is the reason brick and mortar stores are failing.I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE AGAIN.

Customer service seems to depend on what ethnic background youre from. I was standing by the pistol counter next to another customer, and the employee with the ponytail asked him 5 times if he needed help with anything (he didnt). Meanwhile I was right next to him waiting to see a pistol and the employee walks right past me, doing his best to pretend like I wasnt there. I walked around the store and repeated this experiment a couple more times and got the same result. This is pretty sad, as I wouldve bought something otherwise.

I went in to purchase a handgun for myself but had no idea what was the right 9mm. I spoke to one sales guy who seemed to expect me to know what I was looking for, he showed me a few guns but really didnt want to make any suggestions, then just basically walked away... I was fortunate enough to overhear a salesman talking to another customer, answering all her questions and being very patient. There were many sales people in the store a few asking if I needed help but I told them I wanted to wait for him. I was glad I did. He showed me several guns. Some over my budget, some under. Robert explained all the ups and downs for each one and had me try them out for size, ease of use, etc.. He watched and and really listened. Based on his knowledge and experience- I walked out of there with my new Walther 9mm ccp - confident I had chosen the right one. Thank You Robert. Next time Im shopping for a new gun I will seek you out!

John was great and when I asked about something he wasnt sure of he didnt hesitate to ask co-workers to make sure the answer he gave was correct, which was very appreciated.
