This place used to be pretty great, but they have been pretty average lately. They still have a pretty good selection of craft beer, but they dont seem to be doing the growler fills anymore, and they just recently stopped selling singles of just about all their cans. They used to allow people to break up their 4-packs and buy a single can of just about everything to try, but at cost premium. The singles and the growler fills were the main reasons I frequently stopped here and over-spent on beer. Ill probably still stop by occasionally, but wont spend nearly as much. Also, watch out for old stock. They have some cans of stuff that doesnt age well (IPAs) that are significantly past their prime.

Great selection of craft & all types of crushable beers.

Way over priced on everything. The beer i bought was a dollar more than a corner store and the cigarettes were 1.25 more.

How is it only 5:32 on a Sunday youre there supposed to be open till 6 and theyre already closed

They were the only store to have my beer. Always pleasant and take it out to the car for me-and all at a great price. What more can one ask?

Outstanding selection of beer. But for me, I especially appreciate that this is the one place that always has my Six Point Crisp in stock (in the cooler!). Im a Pilsner fan, and that is my favorite, so Troy Discount Beverage is a routine stop for me :)

Is it necessary to review any place that is a neighborhood Beverage Center. I was prompted, so here goes. Ok. I dont often have a need for my patronage of these purveyors of Alcoholic Beverages, but I was pre-concert doing the part of a designated driver. I have gone here when holidays, or Company are going to visit my humble abode. And in this case, a Rock concert. The owners, have always been very courteous and accomodating when prompted for info on a new Beer, or some other Brew related minutia. They are and should be gregarious if they want repeat business. They are knowledgeable and sociable and Regulars probably care more about distance than a hello or some half hearted concern for the weather. And I close with, I was given a beer glass with a purchase and my holiday cheer was recognized with a Heineken beer glass. Slainte as said in my house.

A true gem. If you love beer then you found the right place. Their beer cave is top notch.

Good selection of craft beer but at unfortunate New York prices. Still, found lots of very fresh IPAs and some good, now vintage, barrel-aged beers and sours.

If I could give it a half star I would. make sure your bottles are counted b4 returning them. They are not honest about it.
