Five hours into a 13 hour trip, our F-250 limped into Trinidad with steering problems. The staff at Cooke Motor Company took such good care of us. They immediately started fixing the problem and in under 2 hours we were back on our journey. Wayne Trujillo said the mechanic was confident he knew exactly what was causing the extreme shaking of the steering wheel. The mechanic replaced the part that was needed and it drove beautifully the rest of the trip! Thank you all so much for showing excellent customer service to someone just passing through!!

I purchased aJeep Renegade for $19,566 from Cooke Motors on October 13, 2020. After I left the lot, I noticed they had added $1,599.00 for a “Silver Plus” option package. I didn’t agree to and was not informed of the additional options I received on my car. Furthermore, they added an Extended Warranty Plan that was not explained to me. It totaled $3990.00. So my trade in and down payment was essentially taken up in fees not disclosed to me. I have had a lot of trouble getting in touch with the finance manager Joey. He does not like to answer his phone or return phone calls in a timely manner. I had to go to the physical address to get him to refund my money to my bank. He said it would take 3 weeks. That was 2 months ago. Nothing has changed. The owner has not responded to my call either. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and have left it in their hands. I’m still waiting for a response. If they want me to retract this review and give them a good one instead, they know how to get in touch with me.****Update**** after three months of phone calls, driving to the dealership, and contacting the Better Business Bureau they finally credited my bank the full amount. Buyer beware.

Needed some HVAC work done on my Ford Flex, service work was performed & completed professionally - a good company that is located in the heart of downtown Trinidad.

I was on a long road trip over the July 4th weekend and had car trouble near Trinidad. I got my car to them thinking I was going to have to rent a car to finish my trip. The maintenance team at Cooke Motor got me in, even though they were short handed and crazy busy. About an hour later I was on the road again. They were able to take care of my problem (which thankfully turned out to be an easy fix). This was by far the best experience I have had with a service center. If I was local, this would become my go to place. As it is, all I can say is thank you so much for making what started as an incredibly stressful situation into a minor inconvenience.

This is a review of the service department only. I had an appointment on 2 August 2019 for a oil change, tire rotation and for a safety recall. They were quick to do the service, probably to quick. The next day while washing the truck I noticed the tires were never rotated. I had more wear on the front tires than the back so this is how I knew they never did the rotation. I wont be back again but I plan to call the service manager and file a complaint. Just bad service.

Worst service ever!! And sales lies!

Well I don’t even know where to begin, I had my truck towed there because of a starting issue I was experiencing but anyway they had my truck for awhile I’m not gonna say how long, all I can say is these guys are awesome... they was determined to find this mystery problem with it and they finally found out and get it fixed the 1st time around, most shops would have broken out the parts gun but not these guys, I appreciate everything they did to get me back on the road again, I’m happy to have my truck back and I know they was happy to have that Orange thing gone.

Took my car in March for turn signal issue. Supposedly fixed at that time, wiring issue, pigtails replaced. Same problem again in September, take the car back in despite many warnings of the poor service and dishonest work. Upon picking up the car wouldnt even start, service manger claims someone super glued the socket when the front end damage was repaired. Which was one at their shop the previous Summer. Why wasnt the super glue noticed in March? Blinker still not working, disappointed in the manner they deal with upset customers. Poor quality, poor business tactics. Will not ever return nor recommend. Good reason people in the are refer to this business as Crook Motors. Sometimes making a customer happy and feel they were dealt with honestly and fairly is the price of doing business. Wayne, probably shouldnt be the one dealing with people in general.

We just bought a 18 Jeep GC and was on a road trip to Colorado from Oklahoma and right when we crossed into CO our engine light came on so I decided to stop at the nearest Jeep dealership. When we got there they were very courteous and quick to help after running some diagnostics it turned out it wasnt anything serious and they assured us everything was working properly. Traveling from Florida through Trinidad on way to Steamboat Springs recently we had panel covering under Expedition come loose and drag occasionally on road. Stopped at Cooke Ford for help. Wayne in service immediately assessed problem and removed broken cover. He refused any payment saying it didn’t take very long to remedy. This is a dealership that cares more about their customers than the $. I would highly recommend.

Dont waste your time or money because they dont even know how to fix a Dodge Dakota after five times in there shop and 500.00 . All they did was put on a new part and called it fixed. STAY AWAY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is a great place to do business. My battery died and I was supposed to leave town on Sunday morning. Of course nothing is open on Sunday. We had a blow out on I 25 south of Trinidad, Co. A salesman from here told us where they we located. We were able to get there and although they didnt have a tire or were able to find one for us (though they tried very hard) they were able to fix our spare and get us on the road. Very professional and nice guys.

We got stuck cause our transmission blew. They did a quick amazing job on the repair. Got us back on the road quick!!!! Much appreciated

I took my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Cook Motors due to the fact that both back doors didnt open from the outside of the vehicle. I also asked them to perform an oil change as well. Upon picking up my vehicle I met with Casey. He advised me that they had fixed the doors at no charge to me as well as completing the oil change. Casey took good care of me during my visit to ensure that I would be satisfied with my servicing.Due to Caseys good customer service, I have decide to continue taking my vehicle there for servicing and other maintenance issues. Expencive but nice waiting room and really nice people

Don’t go here if you need service or expect the service department to keep your appointment. We were on vacation and had a loud grinding noise on our 2018 Ford F-150 truck, 23,000 miles. We stopped here and they looked at it but couldn’t figure it out so they scheduled a appointment for the next day at 1:00. We looked up the symptoms online and it’s a easy fix; common to our vehicle. When we went for the appointment time we were told the owner had called and said they shouldn’t have scheduled us in cuz they’re busy. We were told it would be 12 days before they could get us in. Total BS! They kept telling us how we could just buy a new truck from them. How they needed sales so they’d make us a good deal. That sounds suspicious eh.

Our vehicle has been in for repair for over 6 weeks, not getting definitive responses on status when I call therefore, NOT customer friendly. Diagnosis is not a strong point at this place nor following up with their customers. Weve been very polite and patient as we wait but believe there are internal issues within this place. Been told theyve had vehicles for over three months in for repairs. Is this suppose to make me feel better? Is this statement suppose to tell me something? Mr. Cook, look into this and get the job done to resolve this issue.......properly and soon! We need our vehicle to live and commute to support our family just like you need your business to stay in business. Work with your customers in a timely manner! Thanks for allowing me to get this message to you..lets see how long it takes to get this resolved so I can feel like weve received good service.

On a road trip passing through and my ESC light comes on, stopped at the dealership to see if they could either reset it or give me what the code is and the guy tells me I got to get on a schedule and schedule an appointment for something that should take him 5 minutes to do. With no other choice but to leave Ill just make it to the big city where the dealerships can actually give good service.

Asked for my 50,000 mile checkup. All I got was an oil change and they BROKE MY BACKUP CAMERA. They said nothing about the camera when I got into the veh. Went back to the service desk and w as told I would need to make another appointment to fix the camera. General manager said he would call me, but of course he never called. I am never going back.... And Im telling every female I know not to do any business here.

Great dealership to go through! Great people! I first went in wanting an suv, either a Durango or an Explorer. Spent weeks deciding between colors, interior etc. then I switched up on them and wanted an expedition. Then once again I switched and wanted a Tahoe. These poor people never once made me feel bad for not being able to decide they worked with me each time. Very patient and listened to everything I wanted and were ok with me not being 100% happy with anything. They order me exactly what I wanted and when it got in and I drove it I once again decided it wasn’t for me. They were so great with me and patient deciding once again what I want. This took several weeks and finally I decided what I wanted after some research. I completely switched it all up and decided on a camaro. Within 2 days they had it ordered for me and although it took another couple of weeks to get it in, when they did it was everything I wanted and more! They got me the perfect car and the price was way less then anywhere else I looked and I researched for weeks! The interest rate was amazing and they honestly took the time to not only get my dream car but give me the absolute best interest rate and the best price I could find anywhere else. They were patient with me and understanding becuase I changed my mind so many times and they never pressured me into something I didn’t want. Kerri, Michael and Jeff worked their magic for me literally! My boyfriend wasn’t very easy to deal with either but they handled everything so professional unlike so many other dealerships out there. I guarantee they will make a better deal then any other dealserhsip in this state and will always go back to them!

Horrible. Their salesman bill stanton had me sign paperwork/contracts stating that we had a loan. He lied. No one, including the sales manager, can tell me why he lied to my face about us having the loan. I feel like they perpetrated a bait and switch on me. Now they say they hoped to get us a loan. Is that even legal?

These guys took great care of My wife while she was broke down and were super curtious when I came to pick the vehicle up, regardless of my grumpy additude. I had a super stressful day and didnt show them the gratitude they deserved and they were nothing but helpfull. Great bunch of guys.
