Carpet Town was a great experience, from sales to delivery and installation. The installers - Brian and Zack - were pleasant and professional, and they did a fantastic job. They worked fast, the carpet looks great and there was absolutely nothing for me to clean up when they were done. Five stars.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with carpet town.When I went to the store, my intention was just to look around. I had only been to one other local carpet place so I wasnt planning on purchasing quite yet. Andy was so helpful and made it extremely easy for me with the many selections they had. I found carpet that I truly loved and decided to purchase. I was advised a time frame of when my carpet would arrive and it arrived no later than I was told. My carpet was installed 2 days after I received the phone call that it was ready. Brian, the gentleman who did the installation and his partner were fabulous! They were extremely friendly, very professional, and worked extremely fast. I definitely recommend them and will definitely be using them again.

So happy my neighbor told me to go to Carpet Town after getting the run around. Andy gave me a GREAT price! Im extremely happy! We put a deposit that day for our carpet. Within less than two weeks it was installed in our house! I couldnt believe it with all of this covid stuff going on. With Samantha in the office to Brian for the install- everything was professional, fast, and very pleasant. My house looks beautiful! I cant even see a seem!

I got the BEST price around from Andy! He was so friendly, very honest (which I loved!), fast, and professional! The experience as a whole was awesome. The hardwood floors and ceramic tile was ordered and in stock quick. The Installation was fast, and friendly. They Installed hardwood flooring in the living room, dining room, and ceramic tiles in the bathroom. They put plastic down for the rest of the house. They even cleaned up very well when they were done. I couldnt be happier with the look and outcome of the entire thing. They were done in two days! Id recommend to EVERYONE! My neighbor even ordered from them.

Think twice. We bought an expensive grade of carpet & store tried to give us a cheap version. We made several attempt to speak to the owner, & he never called us back.Samantha the manager is rude. The only recent 5 star review she gave to herself. Installers are good and honest. While I like our carpet it wasnt worth all the stress we had to go through. I would rather pay more money than deal with them again.

One star is one too many. Juan was a great sales person... until he was paid. When ordering wood floors (installing ourselves) we were on a schedule. Juan told me no problem on the date I needed the product. 5 days after I ordered he called to clarify what he had written on the invoice, he hadnt ordered yet but told me he would still have them on time. The day I was to pick them up I called him and he said I dropped the ball. Asked to talk to the owner (Andy) and was told he would have him call me. Two more messages the next week trying to talk to Andy about the issues with no call back. A week later I stopped in and Juan treated my husband with complete disrespect denying he agreed to the initial date we were supposed to pick them up. I paid more for the floors than I could have on line or at Home Depot but wanted to support a local business. I wish I had taken the time to read the google reviews before I purchased.

We have used Carpet Town a couple times now, for repairs and new installation. Juan and Danny are very helpful and always follow through with good suggestions. The prices are very comparable and service has been great.

3 hours late and counting. Told me I would be first customer of the day, after waiting 2+ hours, I called them. The installers called me back and said they were touching up on the woodhaven police department and would get to me later. I read the other reviews and still took the chance, never again, bad pricing, horrible service and correspondence. After the original owner passed, this Trenton company has dove to the bottom. Finally went to store and asked for my deposit back, they tried to tell me I had to pay a restocking fee, for all I know, they never even got the carpet. Through gentle persuasion, I got my money back. Never again, I guess you have to go out of downriver to find a good business that respects the customer, not hold them for ransom!

We have used Carpet Town in years past for our carpet needs and were always very satisfied . So when we undertook a kitchen remodel this year, Carpet Town was the only one we considered for our new vinyl flooring. We expected a high quality, stress free experience. We were wrong .The installer did our backsplash and floor. He was routinely 1 1/2 to 2 hours late each day, showing no respect for our time. He was not neat and did not clean up according to what we expected. I had to wash grout from our brand new cabinets and granite countertop . The tiles were not aligned precisely in some spots. Thankfully its in a spot that isnt noticeable but thats beside the point .While the floor is a very nice product and thankfully looks very nice, the installers lack of attention to detail was disappointing. He used silicone in some areas for the quarter round and tried to wipe it up. But it smeared, causing me to spend hours removing it from the floor. Nail holes in quarter round were not filled in. Carpet Town said they would make it right but never did. We made many calls over a week to follow up and get the issue resolved and each time they promised theyd take care of It. But they never initiated a call to us and never followed up.They are all talk and no action. Absolutely horrible customer service. We finished the job ourselves .They may be able to handle carpet installation but Id never have them install vinyl or hardwood flooring.Very disappointed with their lack of customer service and professionalism .

I had my floors done in March it is now July and they still arent completed. My husband and I have called numerous times and were told one of the installers would be out on a certain day... No call no show! I am very upset! Also there is a problem with 2 of the planks separating. I would not recommend Carpet Town. I feel that they are very unprofessional.

I have used and recommended Carpet Town in the past. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Because of past experiences, when Andy, the owner, asked for payment in full in advance for a $200 discount, I felt comfortable in doing so. I hired them to install carpeting in family room, living room, computer room and hallway. Also decided to have ceramic tile removed in kitchen and replaced with vinyl planking. Contract stated they were to remove ceramic tile, rip (contractor term) plywood under tile and replace with new. When installers arrived I mentioned to them, as I did to Andy, that the plywood might be difficult to get up as it was nailed down very well. They came without plastic to block off the kitchen from other rooms and basement. I furnished them with plastic. Obviously, that was not even on their list of things to do. They taped it at top and half way down the walls. I had to leave the house after installers arrived to take my daughter to lunch and Detroit Metro Airport. When we returned home after approx. 3 hrs, I was absolutely stunned!!!!! They were SANDING the thin set off the wood flooring. Never even attempted to remove wood. The bottom half of plastic was flapping in the breeze from air from belt sander. Installers said they were not given instructions to remove wood. My entire house was an absolute dusty mess. Rushed to Carpet Town. Andy said they had insurance so it would get cleaned. I did tell him that I was very picky so he had to get someone that was good. They finished the kitchen floor and vestibul on Friday. Might add, although they did clean up some glue residue, I had a lot to clean from floor and walls in the days to follow. Monday they came to install carpeting. I never saw or spoke to Andy again, although I made 4 trips to the store to find out what he was going to do. Finally, after my 5th trip to Carpet Town, he called me. I might add, it was 3 weeks after the mess in my house. I asked him what he planned on doing about this. He said to me, “I knew this was about money”. He also said “ Didn’t you want the job right?” Of course I did, but he knew I did not want a sanding mess in my home because he had asked on his initial visit to give me an estimate if I wanted my hardwood floors refinished. At that time, I told him I did NOT want any sanding mess done in the house. I told him I had wanted his workers to follow the instructions in my contract and not improvise by sanding without getting my permission. Once again he said “ Didn’t you want the job done right?”I finally, after a couple days shy of a month of the onset of the job, called American Express to backcharge him $2,000. Complete job was approx $6,000. We worked 4 weeks washing absolutely everything in my home: walls (which had just been painted), cupboards, dishes, curio cabinets & contents windows, curtains. Just imagine washing every item in house. Even my bedding had to be washed before going to bed that first night.Then, Carpet Town took me to small claims court for his money back plus $475 for extra charges his installers claimed they were entitled to. Judge decided I was entitled to $250 for 4 weeks of labor and $250 for cleaning ductwork because installers did not block the cold air returns and the thin set dust circulated through every room in my house. So, now I have to pay them back $1500. Court was an absolute joke. There was no: “do you promise to tell the truth and nothing but the truth”. The little bit that I was permitted to speak, I did tell the truth.Everyone can decide for themselves if they want to chance using Carpet Town.

First off, I really hate that I even have to give them 1 star.. if you want carpet installed next day (as their multiple signs state) or even next week do NOT go through Carpet Town. I originally placed an order the first week of may trying to choose a local place (I live practically right behind this facility), I needed three rooms and a hallway. That particular order took about a week to come in and be installed. However.. they forgot to put an order in for my hallway piece. They apologized and said they would put in a rush order for the piece and it would take about a week. NO BIG DEAL. The week turned in to two weeks, then three. With multiple calls wondering what was going on and how much longer it would be.. i felt as if they no longer wanted to help me and kept putting it off and telling me they would call back. They NEVER called back once. Every time we communicated it was me calling the store. Juan has completely avoided us from the day the piece was forgotten. If for some dumbass reason you decide to still choose them, atleast be somewhat intelligent and if possible try to not place the order through Juan. He has no concept of what good customer service even means. Anyways.. after about a month of no answers and tack strips stabbing my feet where the nice carpet should be.. I had no choice but to cancel the hallway piece (if they even placed the order...) and have the carpet matched by someone else!.. the only helpful thing they have done is write down the brand, collection, and color on my order sheet so it made finding the carpet elsewhere a piece of cake. (I must add in that the men who came to install the carpet in the bedrooms were great!! Nothing against them) its solely the people answering phones and dealing with the sales!

Horrible experience with them getting our hardwood floors in. They never came when they said they would, were always late or didnt show up. Its been 3 months and they still havent finished!! Would not recommend to anybody. Have called them numerous times to see when they will finish and they ignore calls and dont call back... Very unprofessional.
