Check the BBB BEFORE trying this company. Absolute nightmare!When we first signed up we were really excited when our first box arrived. The food was high quality and delicious. The next weeks box never came. I called and they gave me a credit for the upcoming week. That box came so late the ice was all melted and all food had to be tossed (4 meals with 4 servings each- huge waste). Called again and they gave us another credit for the upcoming week. The fourth week the box never came so that was it for us we thought. We requested a refund for the boxes we never received. They said it wasnt their fault because once they ship it its out of their hands. So its the customers fault? I didnt choose the shipping method or company. Absolutely ridiculous. Then, after notifying the BBB, they said theyd give us a full refund. Waiting the 7 business days and nothing. Contacted them again and they said they had issued both refunds incorrectly. We received one refund and not the other. Even now they say its on us to contact our bank and find out where the money went. Absolutely horrible. I would HIGHLY recommend checking out complaints on BBB before even trying this business.

This is by far the WORST meal delivery company ever! My very first meal kit was delivered at night and the delivery person just left the box sitting in the driveway all night. When we discovered our box, all the meal kits were smashed from poor handling. All four meal kits had bad produce, and the steak came rotten. We contacted customer service three times but till today no response from the company. To those who are considering Martha & Marley Spoon, please DO NOT waste your money and time with this company. Their foods are not fresh, not organic, doesnt taste good, and all you get is bad produce and rotten meat.

Worst customer service EVER! Of 3 shipments, I received 1. Only get auto replies when I send email. They dont answer the phone and in fact tell you to email, dont answer emails and then hang up on you. Now, as for the food, I received mayonnaise for salad instead of sour cream. Received scallions that were unusable, cherry tomatoes that were mushy and the shrimp was floating around in the bottom of the box. AND, the one shipment I did receive was not received on Saturday as promised but past dinner time on Sunday. Please dont use this company.

I received my first and second order Martha & Marley Spoon. The first order was O.K. The 2nd I just received. I dont think I will order from them again. They were slow in shipping and the meals are sometimes good, sometimes not. The Sichuan Bang Bang Chicken was not up to our taste standards. I ended throwing most of it away.

Pros: I really like the variety of options this food service brand provides, we actually switched to this one because our previous food service literally had the same food options every week (something like rice + protein...really boring). The prices are comparable too.Cons: They dont provide like half the things you need to make the dishes...Not cool. Like for example, anytime you need an egg for the dish - you have to provide that yourself. Like if its in the instructions for the meal, why would you not include that in with all the other things they provide in the bag?? Also, we constantly have items missing in our grocery bags so we cant make the recipes.

My first try at home cook delivery. Im not sure why people may think that Spoon should give everything prepared. I actually enjoyed the learning process, the proportionate of meals and foods that Ive never or will never try until cooking the meals. My husband loves the flavor and taste.

I got my first box yesterday. Everything was covered in meat juice. I cooked one of the meals tonight and the chicken was extremely bad. It had been frozen/frostbit and was really tough...but the recipe was tasty.

Love this food delivery plan! We have tried Home Chef, Blue Apron, SunBasket, Freshly and even Yumble for my kiddo. This one has the best recipes and overall product. True, the food takes time to prepare but almost every single recipe we have tried has come out delicious. We joke at home that Snoop and Martha sit around and smoke, cook, and eat because the recipes are sooo good. Sun Basket had mainly organic ingredients which I miss but Martha has high quality ingredients and the portions are much more filling. Home Chef had the second best recipes but IMO Martha kills it with her tasty food. We havent had issues with meat juices but we mainly order the seafood. I wish the seafood portions were a tad bigger but the typical 5oz. is sufficient for us. Favorite overall meal plan where you will have to do some cooking.

Martha, I am 60 + years old and ordered your Martha and Marley spoon for my hardworking kids and grandkids. I did a Martha Stewart Christmas over 25 years ago. Her is my review of your service that I just canceled. Prep is ridiculous, sauces must come prepared, cheese must grated, vegetables must be cut and ready to use. These dinners are expected to be easy and convenient, yours are not. Sorry but some of live in the real world that dinner must hit the table 30 minutes after getting home, your dinners do not.

Very nice people, quick unloading. They do have docks but they unload with pallet Jack. Once you enter into the parking lot then go around the building. They start receiving at 6:30am.

I’m sure the building is nice, but the company is terrible. Their food service is terrible. Food arrives rotten, seafood wayyy above safe temperature, and the small bit that arrives which appears useful, is actually dripping with raw chicken juice. Their customer service does *not* get paid for performance. Unethical and unprofessional.
