So many options, old and new books and even multiple quantities of the same book. Everything is nicely organized and easy to search through. Definitely coming back again for more books, I ended up buying 5 on my first trip so Ill be occupied for a while.

Im so happy we have a bookstore again in Tracy. I love it! They can order books if they dont have what you are looking for. I found some great books that Id not seen before, bought them and loved them. They mentioned possibly getting a small coffee bar in there and some areas to read. That would be great. I hope the diversity of offerings in the downtown area continues to grow

As always an excellent experience at this store, with a nice selection of used books, with a smaller amount of new items, as well as first editions, autographs, and rare or unique books. Never can go in without finding something to purchase, and the owner is knowledgeable about what types of things regular/repeat customers are looking for, making suggestions, many books, magazines, or collections which I have never seen before. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

The most spectacular selection of books. This is NOT your run of the mill book store. Its a carefully curated collection of books with a very broad range of options. The owners are amazing, friendly and very helpful.If youre a book lover at you must visit this store.

Very welcoming and knowledgeable in their field. Its a smaller bookstore. They might not have what you are looking for. But none the less they will go out of their way to find you something similar or order you a book quicker than amazon can deliver it to your house.

I finally got to walk inside Mockingbird Books and I am glad I did. My wallet is as well. Slightly used books in very good condition are significantly cheaper than new books. Plus, we get to help out a local business. I will be making many returns to the bookstore in the future.

Tidy and well-organized little store that isn’t cluttered with endless paperbacks like the average 2nd-hand bookstore.The owner goes above and beyond to help customers and is very knowledgeable. Mockingbird is my new favorite bookstore.

Amazing experience and service every time I enter their bookstore. They are never pushy and they know their book selection very well. They have a great selection of books from philosophy to religion, politics to traveling, and even a decent selection for young teens. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Books are expensive, for used book stores. You can often get new books on Amazon for approximately same price or lower. Somewhat esoteric selection. Books are in very good condition, in.new or almost new condition. Sales staff seems somewhat uninterested in their customers and have a superior attitude. As if they have better reading tastes and knowledge about books. They do not buy books. They have a small collection of new books: mainly new releases, carefully selected, quality reads. Small childrens book section, for the most part, good selection. Young reader section is limited, but lots of YA books-both hit or miss. Worth checking out but I wouldnt buy frequently from here due to prices and sales peoples demeanor.

Great selection of science fiction and fantasy books. The guys there are very friendly and knowledgeable. Whatever you do, never walk out of your local book store with at least ONE BOOK! I believe strongly in this.
