I went there for an estimate. I wasn’t impressed from the get go as far as the owner giving a straight forward answers. I was given four different dates over the course of 10 days while continuing to follow up as to “where’s the estimate”. He even went as far as to ask me if I wanted to get an estimate from someone else. Now all of this might not seem bad but he told my insurance company that he was my repair shop in which they stopped doing their estimate because they deal with him directly. I live out of my mobile van and thus no one did anything, pushing back my repairs and travels another two weeks.Disclaimer, on day 6 of 10 he did say he had a medical emergency in the family that was pushing back he ability to complete my estimate. However, he was in the office all 6 times I called.
Went there to do a roof work. They replaced my entire roof. Next day after pickup I went camping and roof was leaking inside. Went to their place, then went on top of the trailer and did something. Went back to the storage. After a month a big rain happened, few days later I went to see my trailer, lot of water inside, damaged the cabinets and storage. They told me they will fix it all. After 2 weeks with them they told me there is no leak in the trailer, they did the smoke test and all. I went to pick it up and with them there I showed them where the leak was. They fixed the leak but not the damage their mistake caused. I had to pickup the trailer as we had a big camping trip. After I came back I was never able to talk with them so they can fix the cabinets. The owner was never there and never returned my call. That is sad because I liked them in the first place. Sad they didnt follow up with their promises as it was their fault...
Jeff and his team were absolutely amazing. I drive a 2007 Roadtrek that is no longer manufactured. After visiting three other mechanics with no luck, I pulled into Coachworks and Jeff & team knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it in a timely manner (especially since I’m living in my RV full time). They were easy to work with and charged a fair price.
Fast and quality work.
My travel trailer was broken into and vandalized. I took it to Coachworks and Im so glad I did. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The owner Jeff and his crew know their stuff. The work they did was excellent and my trailer looked better than they day I bought it once they were done.
Every employee / owner are personable and professional! work was on time, well done and they did more than expected. Hard to find this in this !
These guys are great. I had a roof problem on my Keystone Hideout and the big RV store that I bought it from couldnt get me in for 2 months! These guys were busy but were great about getting me in the same day I called. Service was great and they really took the time to explain everything. They will definitely have my repeat business.
Honest...quick..happy to serve. No RIP-offs here. Knowledge counts, they know what their doing. Friends told us about them!
Jeff is great
The Coachworks is the best RV auto body shop in the bay area, by far! As we have many RVs, we have experienced it all. They always work with us to get our RVs in when needed. Most shops take months to get you in. There prices are more than fair and they often resolve small issues at no charge. They are the kind of shop that everyone wants to find. They are honest, reasonably priced, they go out of their way to accommodate our needs, and their work is impeccable.Definitely a 5 star business!!
My 2006 Fleetwood Providence looks like new again! I took it in for a cleanup and they buffed it up like new. Also re-caulked the roof and some minor body work. They even fixed the entrance door that I had to slam every time just to get it to close. This is my second time taking my RV here and Ill always come back!
I was looking for a replacement drivers window for my Gulf Stream Coach. Eric gave me the name of Pelland Enterprises and I saved $$$. I really appreciate that kind of service knowing that Coachworks wouldnt be making a sale out of his recommendation but cared more about me going to the right supplier. Thanks Eric!!
Let me just start off with a couple facts about myself- I’ve been a huge RV geek since I was a kid. I’ve had 5 motorhomes over the years. Have worked in the RV Industry for a little over 13 years, including wholesale, retail and sales. With that said, I have a pretty good compass as to all that goes into the repair process. My experience with The Coachworks has been nothing short of amazing. From the initial call to set up time and date to final walk through and payment, could not be happier with the experience. This includes working with my insurance carrier, ordering parts from coach manufacture and keeping me posted throughout the repairs. And speaking of parts, those misc parts not supplied by Winnebago, Coachworks was able to custom build the items, in house!! Again just awesome. A true one stop shop.Outside of the body repairs we had them do a flat screen install in the bedroom. Their shop manager Terry is the man! He took the time to show us a couple different options of the build and then proceeded with the exact product that was discussed. The final outcome was perfect. It showed pride of workmanship that’s so hard to find these days. Needless to say, it was a perfect job!We also added a full coach detail with a wash, buff and wax. Came out beautiful! In the end, I cannot say enough about Jeff, Erick and Terry and how they run their business. I am so OCD about things and to have our coach returned in such perfect condition in regards to bodywork and custom interior installs, I cannot recommend this business enough. And I will continue to.I believe if more folks from the Bay Area knew about this business it would be a win-win for all those involved.Thank you The Coachworks!
They have Dedicated Staff that are very knowledgeable about RVs.
Had our roadtrek painted, buffed and waxed. They did an excellent job. They went beyond our expectations. Our 210p roadtrek looks brand new I highly reccomend them
Took my trailer there on April 26th and talked to Erick. Gave him a list of repairs and fixes. After having my trailer for over a month went to pick it up on May 19th with brakes not working and fit and finish of the work they did half way complete, looked like a 2 year old did. Over paid for a really bad job that hopefully Ericks dad Jeff will Hold up to his word and fix. Whats funny is they want more money to fix my breaks. I wouldnt take a bicycle to them to have them work on it.
Great shop fast service they took me in when everyone else told me 3 months to get in the work was perfect and I am very picky thank you Jeff Erik and Terry family owned businesses are the best
Ive called and talked to these guys twice, both times ended up with a no-show and no-callback. Being a local shop for me, I sure would like to support my local economy and give them my money. Too bad.
I recently was referred here Newmar after having received very poor service at a dealer in Manteca.I have learned to not write reviews immediately after leaving the service dealer because sometimes it takes a few days to find that their work is either good or subpar. I am happy to report that not only did Coachworks did a good job and I am actually pleased to tell others that this is a good place for the long term.Aside from good workmanship, here is what I can tell you about my experience at Coachworks that is unique from other places: most of the service shops Ive been to have people there who really dont like working at that establishment. Their demeanor is poor and rather depressing. As such, my experience is lackluster as well. Getting information out of these people is a pain. The reliability and trustworthiness of these frustrated individuals isnt good. COACHWORKS is different. They employees want to be there and they actually care about their reputation. They called me with updates and kept their word. I couldnt be more satisfied with the service I received!
Helpful, quick, willing to fix nearly any type of Recreational vehicle, even a teardrop, great service: deep in a business district
Jeff and the crew at Coachworks are the only place in California Ive taken both my RVs and left feeling like I got more than I paid for. The prices are fair, the work is good, and most importantly the knowledge of how everything in an RV is supposed to work and confidence it instills is not common in this industry.
I took my motor home to the them not even a year ago they said it needed a roof I paid $1700. And comes the rain it started leaking it was the weekend theses people arent open on the weekends so I had a certified MECHANIC fix the $2900. ROOF JOB THAT COACH WORKS had done . I took the receipt back to them asking them to pay the mechanic and for the materials I had purchased for my motor home roof .,they said they would make it right so I didnt get the money back from the material I had bought . And I am taking it back to them tomorrow WE SHALL SEE HOW IT GOES WHEN I PICK UP MY MOTORHOME. I WENT UP ON THE ROOF NOW IM NOT AN EXPERT ROOFER BUT IT REALLY DOESNT LOOK LIKE THEY ANYTHING TO MY ROOF PERIOD. SO NOW I JUST GAVE $2900.TO COACHWORKS FOR NOTHING I BELIEVE THEY DID NOT DO ONE THING TO MY MOTOR I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK TWO TINES AFTER THAT. IT MUST OF JUST SAT THERE . NOW IM GOING TO BE INCONVENIENCED Because I live in my home motor home and now I have to wait for them to do the job that should have been done before, when I paid the $2900 now with that saying I think they should make it even better for me now I dont know what kind of job theyre gonna do in that 1 day . We SHALL SEE HOW RIGHT THEY ARE GOINGTO MAKE IT . BUT IAM PRETTY PISSED OFF WITH THESE GUYS AT THIS POINT AND I REALLY DONT TRUST THEM NOW ! WOULD YOU??ALL I KNOW IS THE WORK THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE, WASNT DONE AT THAT TIME IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DONE. I WANT TO SEE HOW RIGHT THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE IT. I WISH I HAD NEVER GONE TO THESE GUYS I DONT TRUST THEM NOW. AND I DONT TRUST MY MOTORHOME WITH THEM. I WISH I CAN TAKE IT SONEWHERE ELSE . BUT I HAVE TO LET THEM MAKE IT RIGHT . LIKE I SAID WE SHALL SEE HOW RIGHT THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE IT FOR ME NOW. BUT I STILL DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL.Would you? And the I thought I drained the battery when i got it back,BUT now i COME TO FIND OUT THEY NEVER TURNED BACK WHATEVER IT WAS THEY TURNED OFF AT THE FUSE BOX CLOSEST TO THE GROUND JUST UNDER THE REFRIGERATOR AND THIS IS THE SECOND THIS HAS HAPPENED . ONE TOO MANY TIMES . I HAD FOOD IN MY REIGERATOR. NOW WHOS GOING TO PAY FOR THAT FOOD?? THAT IS MORE MONEY THAT IAM OUT. WHEN DOES IT STOP. IAM DONE WITH THIS PLACE I REALLY AM
