Got my car smog last week and my truck this week. Was a line at opening but it still went pretty fast. Its nice to see employees showing up on time even on a Sunday

The men were efficient. Detailed. The only thing is they need to state how much charging before charging so customer is fully aware. Billed correctly, Im just a stickler on serving the customer though.

They didnt put oil in my car when I did the last oil change very disappointing!

Ive been going to SpeeDee Tracy for years, stopped in for an oil change today, but have had smog checks and other minor repairs done also. They are professional in appearance and keep the shop very clean. Today they looked quite busy as all the bays were full, I was quite surprised, we drove straight home and as soon as we walked into the house the phone rings, it was SpeeDee letting me know the car was ready to be picked up. Thats living up to their name!

It was professional and quick. Let me know what they did and if I needed anything else to be checked.

My first time there, very satisfied with their service. Explained to me a couple of minor leaks and the steps I need to take before I bring it back for the guys to fix that a well. 10outa10 great job!!!!!

One person had on a mask the other two did not. They get in and drive your vehicle without mask. Prices are ok and they are pretty fast. May even consider them Speedee compared to others.

I have used Speedy Lube for all of my vehicles since I moved to Tracy in 2002.I have never had an issue with any of the work they have performed. They complete the work needed thoroughly and inform me if there are any furthrr issues to be addressed.The staff are polite and thorough, which is important to me.I strongly recommend then to anyone who needs work on their vehicle.

They were awesome!!! Truly took care of my car and changed what was needed; nothing extra. I didnt feel like they were taking advantage of me because Im a woman like some other places have in the past.

Went in for an oil change. Someone came out to my car, took my info and keys, I sat at a table outside and he finished within 10-15 minutes. Fast and friendly service .

Was able to stay in vehicle while my oil change was being performed then paid for service from my car.. I got standard oil change. Service consisted of new oil, oil filter, tire pressure check..

No one wears a mask to protect their clients from COVID-19.Although my family and I have been going here since they first opened in the 1990s, we will no longer be taking our cars here.Edit: as of March 24, 2021 employees still do not wear masks.

Fast, friendly service and reasonable prices. I have gone to SpeeDee for a number of years. Just recently I had the front brake pads replaced. They did the job quickly and at a good price. In the next month or so I plan on having them do a tune up on my car.

Bad service they put my spark plugs in and left out the metal sleeve Wich the caught fire also when doing the manifold they un did all my wires tape that I dressed it with and my plastic dressing for the wires also were tampered with reasons why Ill never know the mechanic really has a un very unprofessional attitude. When I said how did it go with the manifold install well instead of discussing about what I said he started talking to me about my wires and other things that did not pertain the job I needed done thats what made me check closer to my engine and thats how I determined it was tampered with and no one gave a hoot about anything I only wish thier was someone I can talk to so this dont happen to anyone else and also I had to put a rating or I would not be able to post this one star is way to much for them. I didnt even mention the first money talk was 600. After all they done it was a total 800. Plus.

Didn’t reseal my air filter cover and lost one of the screws to bolt it down. Staff gave me the impression they were just there and not overly focused. Speedy? Perhaps. Observant? Not to much. Won’t be going back even if I have to delay my oil change to another day.

I had my 2nd oil change there. Its nice to go in and have a cup of coffee and watch TV and have conversations with others. They come out and tell you what was done and what they recommend.

Fast service, but employees doesn’t wear masks or gloves

Made an appt for standard oil change. I called ahead and asked the price. When I arrived right on time, was told to sit. No problem, and I waited a good 10 minutes. It was like a Wednesday mid morning and no particular busy day but they did have more than 3 people in their lobby area. When addressed I said Id made an appt. They couldnt find my name. I made sure it was the correct place. Then another clerk started to assist me and the price was almost 10 dollars more than expected. I was told by my boyfriend that it shouldnt be much more than 30 but it was and so I told him Id be right back and went to go make a few phone calls. In my car the first clerk approached me and I declined service... googled some other places and went to Walmart and got it done for 20 bucks. No thanx speedee..you missed the ball.

Took my car to get a repair and pass smog. They charged me 850 to replace one sensor, and they put the wrong one in, and it started melting the wires in my car. The only reason I came to these guys is because the where the only place open on MLK day, and I was trying to get stuff done. Any 5 star review on this place is most likely the manager going in a given his own shop 5 Star, as the reviews seem pretty fake!

They do a great job.If something needs to be taken care of they let you know.I went to another SpeeDee oil in July as I had surgery and it was in the bayarea.They did not check my car out like the one in Tracy.I would tell anyone to go to the one in Tracy.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I needed a new filter and they ordered it and I got it that afternoon. they were on top of it. I will continue to take our cars there.

I had my car towed here using AAA. The driver told me that his mother owned the shop and that the mechanics here were great. I was more inclined to go to Jiffy Lube down the street but he insisted that he knows mechanics here and they do a good job-Thinking that he meant well, I agreed and we drove over to Speedee. So, he dropped off my vehicle in the parking lot and I spoke to the woman from the office who was outside. She was extremely passive aggressive and was defensive and rude over the simplest questions even when asked politely. That was the first red flag. I went inside and within the next 45 minutes, watched many other cars arrive to the shop and get serviced. My car, meanwhile sat in the parking lot without a single mechanic or individual working there making an effort to make a move. With the obvious thought that they had the power over this situation, they had the audacity to tell my boyfriend when he arrived that they would not be able to get to the car until 3PM - which at that time, was an hour and a half away. I called AAA, got them to tow it to Jiffy Lube and told the rude woman in the office. She tried telling me that AAA was going to charge me for an additional tow- (They did not) lol and I left to meet the tow man. Once the tow truck was pulling up, a mechanic ran up and said that they were ready to take the car in to have in serviced. (1:50PM) So all of a sudden there was a fire under them to get it done knowing they were abusing the small power they had knowing my car could not be driven away. The tow truck driver for the trip to Jiffy Lube was very professional and the experience working with him was a large difference from the people at Speedee. It is simply unreal how unprofessional they were here and I am very happy to say that Jiffy Lube did a wonderful job today, they took care of all of my cars needs and I highly recommend them instead of this dump.

If I could give negative starts, thatd be my very first choice.Cheap place (not as in pricing, but as in using cheap/defective materials/parts but ripping you off on their pricing).I brought in my van for brake job, they recommended I needed to replace all my brake pads, rotors and a few other things. I spent over a thousand bucks for entire jobs and guess what? After 2 weeks later, my brake started making squeaking sound which I never had before.I took it back in, they resurfaced the rotor and had to remove glaze on my pads.And two weeks later, it happened again.Of course I took my car back in and this time, they blamed on me for braking too often and carrying too much weight on my van. Hello? it is a three quarter ton van and it was made for carrying weight.This time they replaced new pads (not happily) but couldnt touch the rotors again as they had already resurfaced once and said my warranty is expired. Can you believe it? Within a month, they declared my warranty is expire just because they used cheap materials in the beginning.As you guessed it, two weeks later, it squeaks again and even worst this time.Now I have to take it to other shop to redo the whole thing.What a waste of money and time.I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAGUE.

When something goes wrong they dont take responsibility. I went in today for an oil change, me and my family have exclusivity gone there for years. They pulled my car in and when they found that something was wrong, they didnt say anything or acknowledge that I had been sitting outside waiting for over an hour. Eventually they came out to tell me my drain plug was too big and they were waiting for a new plug. After another hour they finally come to me with a completely round, stripped plug, telling me I had to pay for the new piece. I was given attitude by the young man doing the oil change and the older woman in the office, saying I hadnt been there for a year (I was just in there this past December for an oil change) and saying it wasnt thier fault because clearly I had been somewhere else. They wasted my time for 2 hours and then accused me of lying and charged me the full price of the oil change and the piece that THEY ruined. This isnt the first negative experience Ive had at this location but it will be the last, me and my family will not be returning.

I have been a speedee customer for years, and I have always had great experiences. Until today, a mechanic by the name of Shaun messed up my car, he did an oil change at this time he discovered that a couple other things needed to be done... no problem... so I thought. Somewhere in the process of the oil change and doing the couple other things he knocked a sensor loose, so now the smog check can’t be done until I drive 20 miles or else it will fail. Irritating but still no problem I understand things happen, so I drive 25 miles and bring the car back only to be told that the sensor is still not reset and he (Shaun) has no idea how much further I need to drive. Um?!? What?!? Then when I start asking questions he has the nerve to get an attitude with me, he’s rude and a doesn’t seem like a good mechanic. He can’t answer simple questions without getting upset. Michelle in the office is fantastic on the other hand, she’s always awesome everytime I go in there. She took care of me and I appreciate that. But Shaun needs to be let go, he’s not a good representative of speedee.

Great mechanic. He took the time to point out some things about my AC lines to help me replace my compressor. There was a mistake in my billing. I just had to mention it and they figured it out and gave me a refund.

Awesome staff, helped with my oil problem quickly. Recommended to come back later for oil change since it is not due for oil change.

They were really quick took them less then 30min to change the oil. They also check several other thing for me and refilled 2 of my liquids that were low and mentioned a problem that had appeared.

The staff at SpeeDee are very helpful and courteous in servicing the needs of your car.

I was very impressed with my experience at SpeeDee Lube. When the attendant came with the paperwork, I was expecting a list of unneeded repair suggestions. However, he went down the checklist with everything being okay ! Additionally, part of their service is that they wash windshield window, INSIDE AND OUT. (The inside of my window was horrendous!!) Thanks!!!

This shop is not trustworthy, i took my car to get a tune-up, with filters, sparkplugs and so on, they kept the car for one whole day and i found out that they charge me for all six sparkplugs and they didn’t even change the 3 sparkplugs that are behind the motor, they have unexperienced workers do the “easy jobs” and nobody else checks on what they did

They can get you in and out quickly if youre lucky enough to get there when theres no one else waiting, but thats not very often. Wish they had another location in town.

Stopped by for an oil change at 4:4pm on 12/12/15 and was turned away because they were closing. however their posted hours say 5:00pm. I saw at least 2 empty stalls. Boooo! Will never go there.
