-negative -10 Shabby business find another repair shop trust me, This place is a complete rip off had a diagnostic done here, service done for a diagnostic and results supposedly 4 ignition coils and 4 spark plugs needed to be replaced, I paid a hefty price for the lame service that only ended up with the plugs (maybe not even all) and 1 coil changed I know because I went home opened my hood to inspect the work and seen only one coil replacement I should have checked at the shop before leaving but I was a trustworthy customer after what I found out yesterday never again, when I returned to Midas the technician if we can even call him that claimed that there was a mixup because the parts were coming from two stores and offered to change the remaining coils, I denied the service and told him I no longer trusted them under my hood if they did that the first time what would they do to my car the next time (many things out of spite) and I demanded a refund which I was reimbursed after bringing my car back and opening my hood in front of their face, unfortunately I had to return home and report this business(Shabby mechanics and businesses should not sell unnecessary work and most definitely should not charge for labor, and parts not done ) if I could I would rate this business -10
They were open to help me with my car, provided a courtesy inspection and found nothing. Unfortunately, dropped the car off at 10 and didnt get a call until an hour before close to say nothing found. Offered a full inspection but unable to complete by close which was important as I had work following day. Nice receptionist though
I will never go back to this repair shop. In the last 9 months or so, I have two cars that need services and spent about $10,000 (give or take). $6000 for new engine, $2k + for starter and some else. These services are for two different cars. On this last service, the manager gave me a discount of $1100 out the door (it was supposed to be $1385). So great! That is really nice of them, right? NO. When my daughter went and pick up the car at the end of the day, they charge her for $1385. I was working and cant pick it up. So I called the next day and the manager told be she will be there Friday and will handle it. Again I have to work so I came in Saturday. And this all went downhill. Ashley will not honor the $1100 that was quoted to me. And all she have to said is I dont know anything. I just work here. We went back and forth and finally she got the owner on the phone. The owner tell her to refund me only $200 ( not the full $285). So I walked out without the $200. Because of $85 different, they lost a really good customer that have already spent close to $10,000 in less then a year. I would rather spend more for honesty and integrity from a business else where. Any business that keeps their promises and I will go back and will be their loyal customer. But if they cant even keep their words and then I cant trust them with my car.So I called back the number, twice. No answered and cant leave a voice mail. I also texted to this number. No answered... From top to bottom no one keep their words.
I recently took both our cars in to this Midas location, over the last couple weeks, for oil changes. Both times, everyone I spoke to was professional, honest and straight forward. Not pushy but did bring up an area of concern I was aware of prior, so I know they are also thorough. Its nice to find a business that still operates this way. They also had some outdoor seating in the back which was a nice plus.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and DO NOT try MIDAS auto services you will regret it,Already filled a complaint to the BAR ( California bureau of automotive repair) at department of consumer affairs.Very rude and unprofessional technicians and managersI emailed THE CORPORATE with the complain AND will HAVE MY POLICE REPORT NUMBER ADDED ON MY REVIEW soon.; i changed my struts april 2018 then i got 2 new front tires May 2019 then i changed my control arm, tie rod ends, bushings, stabilizer bar links, ball joints also April and May 2019, after getting the tires by less than a week i decided to have alignment with midas auto services,The tech said i tried to do your alignment 3 times and i can not,Is it salvage title i said no,he said i dont think so then,he said i got the reason its because you have bigger rimsby the way my original is 15R and mine is 17R so he said i will try the 4th time and you can test drive it the warranty is 6 months, i said okay.At the time a guy who work there was just telling me how professional and advanced the tech they have talking about the guy who said i can not give you good alignment because i think its salvage or the bigger rims!,Thats fine until now.I test drove it, it was not fine so i said i will visit them again,At 04 June i was on high way from San Ramon to Tracy,the car was about to hit a huge truck contractor suddenly with no reason me and my family were about to die, were very shocked and afraid of driving, i said it may be a pavement issues then took an exit to drop my brother in law off,i found i have a flat tire on driver side and i have a photo i used the spare tire to go home,Then i visited midas website for appointment 4:30PM,i was late at 5:00PM.The head tech they call him MIKE was very aggressive, rude and said yelling at me waving his hands this is not our issue go get me paperwork for new struts,i told him i did it myself,he said not my business and also said go get original stock rims so we can give you good alignment,i told him i want my money back he said to the lady working there : schedule him appointment tomorrow and left me while he was saying no refund and laugh at me,I told her i will call the police then i thought Im late so no problem to come next day and left.I went next day for alignment,They found that the RIGHT passenger side front wheel is about to get explode with same issue,So they said go get new tire so we can refund you,I said this is the second tire and its your issue,they said again go change your struts they are broken,I left very upset and didnt know what to do,I got new tire,then went somewhere else for alignment.I have a before and after print out and i got it fixed.They called me asking twice regarding refund second time was June-08 she asked for last 4 digits on my card for refund,I called them the next day, she said will call you back on Monday June-10 because someone will be here she was not clear about what she said,then disappeared again no refund and no show!Until JUNE-13 Thursday i called them back the guy works there told me you can call the manager back again next Monday or Tuesday!I Didnt get my money back, this place is a SCAM.
JANUARY 2021 UPDATE: I had what I thought to be radiator issues and called to see about warranties since I had it serviced here. Given my previous experience, I was hesitant, but I firmly believe in second chances. Much to my surprise, MIDAS went above and beyond. The new issues I faced were unrelated to the previous, but they truly do believe in integrity and customer service here. I will spare the details, but they gave me a discount that reflected a cost below what the parts alone would have cost. Hakimi and Ashley were solely responsible for this exceedingly spectacular experience and I advise anyone on the fence about trusting MIDAS to give them the opportunity to impress you like they did me (as well as the opportunity for a second chance if it comes down to it!) They certainly do have the Midas Touch, through and through.August experience: They replaced my radiator for a decent price but damaged my front grill. Additionally, they fastened the radiator with plastic zip ties. They were supposed to replace my fluids but failed to put enough coolant in. (Minor portions redacted from August review)

Possibly one of the very few auto shops that isnt trying to rip you off. After a bad experience with firestone the guys at this location went above and beyond to fix my car. Dependability, trustworthy and great customer service. Thats what youll find here.
I had my Audi Q7 taken cared of. I forgot her name but she was super awesome. My mechanic was straight on. My Q drives like a dream. I would always always go to Midas at Tracy. Keep up the good work
We took my car into this place for a diagnostic and a smoke test. My husband called before and asked if they did that and was assured they would be able to test the car the next day. When we dropped off the car a different worker said they didnt do that here. Then a third worker came in and said they would be able to do it. Well, long story short, they never did the requested work and when we asked why, one of the workers copped attitude and said, We are doing you a favor here. Um, no, we aint your friend, we are paying you to do this work so there are no favors involved. She was so rude to my husband that he told her to give him our keys back and we took the car somewhere else. I cant believe this place is a busy as it is since the customer service is so terrible.
Used to l ok ve this place because of staff. Still good but I have to have more knowledge about it now. I dont trust new people with my cars but location is convenient.
It’s a scam the manager is never there and I have called to resolve my issue and they have not called back or replied to my emails.The prices are similar to dealer the difference is that a dealer takes care of you and lets you know what’s wrong not just tells you one issue and wait for you to come back to finding there was another issue. Very Disappointing. Can’t be trusted stay away
Its my first time to this location. While the staff was very informative and trying to help with everything. I did feel they were being pushy on services that in the end they said we not immediately necessary.
About 6 months ago I took my truck for brakes to maidas a flew weeks after I started hearing a grinding noise coming from the front left wheel and i tough it was due to the new brakes. And told to my self maybe after they wear out a little bit the noise is gonna go away. Afew days when by and the noise was getting worse. So I pulled the tire and i found the caliper missing one of the banjo bolts and the caliper was rubbing against the inside of the rim.
Check engine light came on a day after an oil change. Called and took the car back only to find out it was something simple. The job was done quick and staff was helpful.
They were able to fix an unexpected issue with my coolant reservoir on the weekend when no one else was open. They were able to work with me to get my car back

Paid for an oil change. Even though midas couldnt take off oil filter off, they tried blaming Toyota dealership for stripped oil filter housing. They also Left large dark oil stains in my driver side along with the dirty oil filter. I had no previous stains before thanks midas for your quality excuses and lack of customer service. All the manager offered was a car wash and someone to scrub the oil out, Ive have had tendonitis surgery on both wrist rather go thru the pain and pay for a car wash instead of returning back to midas.
I needed air in my tires and they did it fast and for free I appreciate it I or my son didnt have to get off the car.
Awful place. They quoted me a price for a transmission filter/fluid change but didnt have time to do it 2 hours before close. (I was the only car in the shop) Next morning came back to start work, price increased $100. Nope. Classic con artists. The dealership was cheaper and thats almost never true. BEWARE.
This place is a joke. I came in a couple days ago for an oil change. You have one guy i believe his name is max forcing customers to get work done, arguing with customers. Me and two other customers walked out. I do not recommend this place.
I have found leah! I wish she was still here at midas but i have found her at Meineke here in town. I have changed my name so this location can not get a hold of me about my comment.Fyi you guys should have never let Leah go.
It was supposed to take 35 minutes but I was 90 minutes because they has to send out for a filter..
2nd time I been here, very much like to recommended, no pressure sales, good customer service.
Came in about three weeks ago looking for leah. (Such a sweetheart) when i got there ashley was there. I asked where was leah, and with a smirk and attitude she says shes no longer with us and then laughed. I thought that was very unprofessional and rude. They lost a customer.
They reached out to me to correct th mistake that was made. They handled my issues professionally and politely.
