This was my first time using Nelson Coleman and it was a great experience. I dropped off my engagement ring for repair and my wedding bands for cleaning and everything came back in wonderful condition. It took about 2 weeks for the repair and cleaning/appraisal of 3 rings and they called right away when they were done. They were even willing to be a little flexible with a pick-up time for me since I have an unusual work schedule. Definitely my new jeweler!

I waited over a year since my lovely sweet wife passed away to decide to move my wedding band from my left to right hand. I chose Nelson Coleman in full confidence to increase the ring size. They did a beautiful job at the quoted price. A week after receiving the ring I went back to inform them the prongs on the inset diamond were catching on fabric, and I left the ring for evaluation. A couple days later they called to inform me the (43 year old) prongs were shredded and need replacing, which they told me would be done at no additional cost. I got the finished ring back today and it is perfect. I am totally satisfied, and I recommend Nelson Coleman to everyone without reservation.

I have ALWAYS taken my watches to Nelson Coleman for batteries. They used to be free but now they are $5.00 per battery which is fine. Sometimes I’d wait for my watch but then it took 2 to 3 days to get my watch back.This last time it took a week to get it back which was curious.

Omg. It was an amazing experience dealing with this company. I ordered a custom necklace gift for my Wife a week before our wedding which was June 19th. I was told it would be ready on the 19th (day of the wedding) but Amanda Colman-Phelps the owner was willing to go above and behind by driving 2hrs away to the venue to deliver it. I went to them to set a loose diamond into a temporary setting (neither of which I purchased from them), and they were helpful and did a great job with it. Hilarious and friendly staff too!

I researched several jewelers in the area and decided to trust the reviews that I read about Nelson Coleman. I brought in 4 rings, one bracelet, and one watch (battery needed). My bracelet was repaired the day I went into the store. It hasnt even been 1 week and Ive already picked up my watch and two rings. My jewelry looks better than when I purchased it. I cant wait to see my other two rings. One is especially important because it was my deceased mothers. I had not realized that there was engraving on the inside of the ring. Marie noticed this and explained that they would do everything they could to save it, assuming it had to be cut out at a particular place to resize it. I was updated that the jeweler could resize it without having to remove any of the engraving. I cant wait to get it back.

Some people are genuinely friendly here and the others weren’t as sincere. The people who were genuinely friendly were nice. Their in store collection is solid and appealing.But they can definitely do better with communication. I dropped a watch off to have links removed on a Sunday. The jeweler isn’t in on Sundays which is understandable as I believe they only have 2 jewelers who can remove links from a watch. I was told I could come back either on Monday or Tuesday to pick up my watch. One person said Tuesday while I was there so I figured the watch may not be ready by the next day. I called Monday evening to inquire what the status of my watch repair was, I was told it was not ready and I should get a call back the next day regarding pick up.I called back on Tuesday and Eric inquired if I received a call advising that my watch was ready for pick up. I advised no but I was checking in due to the information I received at drop off. I was told there would be follow up and someone would get back to me when it was ready.By Saturday, I still didn’t receive a follow up. I called to check in again and I was told my watch would be ready by January 11th and that the date was on my receipt. At this point this was new information despite it being on the receipt due to what I was verbally told in store. At this point, I had to tell them that I wanted my watch back regardless of whether it was ready because of the miscommunication. I was told I would receive a call back shortly with an update. I received a call back 3 hours later.Not the end of the world but first impressions matter. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I went to get my bracelet fixed and the service was awesome! The people were very nice and I got my bracelet fixed quicker than I expected!

I wanted to start a relationship with this jeweler by repairing my grandmothers wedding set. Everything was going great during the quote process as they tried to find the best way to save me money while restoring the rings. I wanted to try on a dainty anniversary ring, as I like small, not big things. I was told it was sample. No price ever given. If they could have seen my face, but the mask covered my expression. Honestly, I do not see how this place stays in business if they cant give you a price on an item you look at in their case. I will not be having my rings restored there, nor will I ever step foot back into their business. I apparently didnt fit the bill for the type of person that shops there. But I will tell you this, my money is good wherever I decide to spend it!

I came in to repair a bent prong on my engagement ring and it was repaired and cleaned beautifully while I waited. The team even discovered that my eternity ring had some loose stones and I left it for a few days while it was repaired.
