I have been renting a storage unit from Instorage for a few months. It is Christmas time and needed to retrieve the tree, lights and Christmas decorations out of storage. The facility is very clean and very easily accessed. There are dollys to help transport your belongings. The personnel are friendly. The rates are super inexpensive as far as storage places go but the hours of access are limited. Plan you trips wisely and that is not an issue.

Fast and efficient service.

I was helping a friend move and I noticed how clean the inside units are along with the hallways. They have a few portable carts to help one move in or out. They also have RV storage on the outside lot. The entry gate is code protected like most storage lots.

Safe and sound and reasonable price

My experience from start to finish was definitely satisfying. I initially spoke with Antwione on the phone. When I inquired about space availability, he followed through with everything he spoke about when I arrived to sign the rental contract. Its refreshing to experience no games.

Easy of access, but secure

I like that it in a safe area and the building has a alarm and the latest security cameras for after hours. The Torrance PD keep a constant patrol in the area.The building is always clean and presentable. Customer service is at a all time high and very professional.

This storage facility is overpriced and the gate hours are too short. The temperature inside the storage areas is always hot and stuffy because there is no AC or insulation seperation from the roof which is warehouse type structure, high ceilings and no airflow at all. Some type of air seperation or insulation should have been installed for the ceiling to help block the hot sun. Also some circulating would have been nice

I called to see if I could rent a storage garage 30 minutes before they closed, the lady said they were closing already! Didnt even care about the possibility of a new customer! I would imagine their customer service after that is worse!!!

Easy in and out very helpful staff

They don’t value their old customers of many years. Constantly offer great deals & cut rate rent prices to new customers while raising the rent yearly for old customers. When I see their ads, I am embarrassed that I let it happen. We have been there for 11 years & now paying over $730.00 more per year than when we started. They know it is an ordeal to move so they have you “over a barrel”. You must give them a Declarations page from your Homeowners Policy yearly or they will add insurance to your monthly rent. Years ago, for some reason, I didn’t get notification of a rent increase. A few days after I paid my rent on time, they locked me out of the facility. I was clueless & they never notified me. Just locked me out.

The gal that helped us was real chill. The only thing that bothered myself and husband, was the fact that facility does not work with cash. So we had to go to 7 11 and get a money order. But it got done.

I received excellent customer service

Had a storage here. They lack cameras. Only a few outside. No cameras inside. I had a good lock on mine. And someone cut the bracket to get into my storage to steal my things. The cameras caught nothing. The torrance pd officer that did my case said they have constant break ins. Not to mention they dont help you with the insurrance claim. I been dealing with mine for months and they keep asking for a ton of paperwork. Wouldnt the police report be enough.

I like this place. Reasonable

I tried to store several boxes with memorabilia from my dead husband in the storage I share with our son. I was treated like a low down criminal, by a very rude and nasty employee. I have not been treated this bad by anybody. My experience was devastating.
