Excellent service. Leo in in the lumber yard cut a small piece of wood very precisely. You cant get this at the big boxes. The sales people are responsive and they will find someone more knowledgeable if they cant find a product right away. Nicely stocked hardware store massive lumber and material yard. If you are serious about your home projects and contracting this is the place to go.

My bf and I went to see woods for next project. It was first time for me, and I’m so surprised that they have huge space to line woods up. We saw many different types of woods to use and very kind and helpful staffs to find what we were looking for.

Just awesome, the sheer amount of different types of lumber they have is great. the lumber racks in the covered area have stairs so you can go look at the high shelves up close and personal. when you’re done you just tell them what you want at the front, then they get the pieces and forklift it over to your car- no hauling through the lot/storethe whole place is clean and neat, some hardware and paints inside but i wasn’t looking too hard.

We are fairly new here tho I really like the service I receive.... keep up the good work..

This place is very large. If you cant find it here, you have a problem. Service is excellent, from the salesmen to will call. I have no complaints.

This place is amazing. The power tool selection is comparable to the likes of the home depot or any other big box hardware store, except that I was able to find some hard to find tools/new releases, and not to mention that they have some pretty decent monthly sales, so be sure to check up on their website for the advertising. And obviously the massive selection and supply of lumber, all types and sizes, rough and milled.They carry just about everything you would need for the home or project. So it is a one stop shop. You might get a better pricing on some items elsewhere, but youll have to do the research.The building itself is a work of art, with the massive laminated beams and steel connections, I couldnt stop staring at all of the architectural details. The store is very big in scale, clean and well organized. Its sort of like a Cabelas/bass pro shop of Construction. The staff is attentive and very helpful. I do not know why Ive never gone here before. I had to exercise a lot of restraint, because I wanted everything. But I will now this place is my new go to spot.

Ganahl Lumber has quotas they have to meet for their sales Personnel or theyll be fired sales Personnel also gets a portion of the money of what they sell so their job depends on them up selling to you why would they give you a good deal at their jobs going to depend upon it them not giving you a good deal why would a sales Personnel help me out with something difficult or small sale when their job depends on them keep selling selling selling or youll lose your job

Cleanest lumber yard youll ever visit

Was my first time buying here! It started off amazing with the guy helping us out I wish I knew his name wearing a raider face mask. But as soon a I got to costumer service to get my stuff it was terrible the guy had a terrible attitude and rude. It’s like I bought over 2000 dollars worth of material and get this terrible service. Also waited over a hour to get all my material loaded on too my truck. And to be told he was the manager what kind of manager do you hire. He should be leading by example.

Fast and friendly people

I have always enjoyed working with Ganahl, however working with their door and window supplier Paramount, was more than disappointing. For a cheap window they may be okay but definitely not, if you are wanting a high quality solution.I went through Ganahl dealing with Paramount. I was working on a historic house built in Brea in 1921 so the glass pattern was crucial to match the existing french door and window patterns. The Ganahl rep drew everything up accordingly and we submitted the order.Weeks later I went out to review the dormer window and it was completely wrong. After much back and forth, the owner accepted the design as he was under a tight schedule. When I visited the Paramount plant I emphatically stressed the importance of the rear door (glass) pattern we were still waiting on and that IT MUST MATCH OUR DRAWING!When the door was finally delivered the panels in the door didnt even come close to matching. They gave absolutely no regard to our request.All they had to do was (to) call me when they saw that their product did not have the same configuration as the drawing we submitted.Also, the glue they used to secure the panes was over applied throughout both items, causing the painters extensive time to remove which the owner had to pay for.In the end their price wasnt much different than the high end window manufacturer.In short, Paramount might be an option to supply windows for a low end structure but definitely not for a property that you want to be proud of or one that requires an intuitive management team.It is unfortunate that a company as great as Ganahl has a subcontractor like Paramount.

The minute I called Gabahl Lumber the person on the phone was able comolete my request in one minute. Michelle Evelyn in the paint department is the best. She is not just an associate, she is actually an interior designer and does an amazing job at picking and teaching about colors. I could go down to HD/Lowe’s to buy paint any time, they are only 3 miles from me, but I will actually drive 60 (SIXTY MILES) to purchase from Michelle (and will continue to follow her, originally met her at Dunn Edwards Torrance). She has chosen paint for 2 homes now and people are so impressed by the results. My mother in law actually consulted with her for a downstairs remodel after she saw my home and the impact the color choices had made (my MIL also gets compliments on the colors left and right, colors we never thought would work!). Michelle takes into account not only my taste, but also lighting, floor color, other rooms, mood you are going for (some colors are calming, others are awakening), fixtures, textures, etc. Until I met her I thought white for ceilings (or Swiss coffee) was good with any wall color and that there were few shades of blue. Now I can literally see the impact different whites can make in how the color of the other parts of the room pop out and how the room size/perspective is affected as well as the infinite amount of blues there are (applies to all colors). Michelle, you are awesome!

Recently opened, so this is a brand new building/new everything. Employees very helpful & freindly. They cut my lumber & helped me load it. But the best thing was the FREE ice available at the ice maker machine. That was such a nice treat on this really hot day, had to give them 5 stars for that.

Beautiful store!

Fantastic hardware store. Seems like they carry everything Home Depot carries. And they have an excellent selection of hardwood, softwood and plywood. They even stock purple heart and teak. 8/4 black walnut. Rock Maple. White and red oak and others. And they are friendly and actually know where their products are located.

Eugenio should be let go and Alex should be in charge of the operation.

Please tell your employees to cover their mouth AND NOSE with a mask. Multiple employees were not wearing a mask properly, which defeats the whole purpose.

Nice to have a lumber store with large selection + regular HW stuff. Very clean, parking lot with large spaces and staff guy was very helpful in finding the wood that met my needs. Little further from my house than big box stores, but worth the trip.

Wonderful, attentive staff willing to take the time needed to actually help you. Very clean store with a wide selection of products needed for your home projects. Unlike the murderous rage one typically has when leaving Home Depot, I left here with a renewed faith in humanity.

Eugene the lumber manager cares about each and every customer as do all the employees. I have never been disappointed. The Windsor one product line is fantastic. This is the Nordstroms of lumber yards.

Awful service this morning 8/25/18. Order was supposed to pulled ready to go at 6:00 am. Order not ready. I got the base shoe. While forklift operator was pulling my special order baseboard and I was standing right there, he dropped my load to go load another truck. I then load my base by hand. When I got to job I discovered they ordered the wrong baseboard.

Saul was very helpful and didnt judge a girl for being in a lumber store! The store is huge and the staff are all very helpful!!!

A place where the employees ask you if you need any help or have any questions. Home Depot and Lowe’s, if there is anyone there to help, usually look the other way or just plain ignore you. Great customer service! Check out the vintage original saw mill used in the 1800’s.
