The Doctor giving the Balance and inner ear testing was excellent at listening and thinking about what could be causing my symptoms. Because of his thoughtful communication, I was able to do some research and find an exercise that actually did alleviate some of my symptoms. This is so refreshing to have a doctor listen to me particularly and not just collate me into the box my symptoms might fit. Really appreciate him listening to me.

Maybe two years ago I had visited Beach Cities Hearing Solutions for a hearing exam. I recall the audiologist’s analysis of my hearing issues and his recommendations; a rote delivery of what I should do next. I left that visit feeling that my current hearing aids were just fine.What a difference a person can make......... And the person that made all the difference was Dr. Troy Scanlon. He administered the same exam. But this time I felt a sincere and genuine engagement in my hearing situation. I felt a real empathy for my hearing difficulties and frustrations. Dr. Scanlon’s conversation with me was focused and expressed his serious desire to resolve my problems. Here was a doctor that went to school so that he could help people; his bed-side manner was so personal and compelling that he convinced me to consider his recommendations (which were the same as my first visit). This time though, Dr. Scanlon expanded my thinking regarding a follow-up visit. He made me feel that there was hope and he told me why and how. And, OH MY GOODNESS he delivered. That follow-up visit was long, but personalized as different solutions were tested until there was the perfect match for me. Wow, he hit the bull’s eye. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I can hear so much better that it has changed my life - REALLY. I can now have conversations on the phone, can watch tv withOUT the sub-titles and in person conversations are smooth with no frustrations by either party. What more could you want? And that says it all. Good job, well done and Dr. Scanlon, you are the hero in this story.

The doctor and staff at Beach Cities Hearing Solutions were very helpful and thorough when I had my consultation appointment with them yesterday. A very relaxed atmosphere, and no high pressure to purchase a hearing device beyond what the doctor felt was needed to help me with my hearing at this time. My Ear, Nose & Throat specialist referred me to them, and I’m grateful that she did! I would highly recommend them if you are having hearing issues.

Everything was super professional and all the doctors and staff are very helpful and nice. The doctors explained in details about my moms condition, treatment and tests.

Dr. Leiterman is very thorough when explaining everything to both me and my mom. He takes the time to make sure we understand and answers any questions we may have. The staff there is really nice. They make sure everyone is socially distanced and there is sanitizer throughout the office.

This office was outstanding. Dr. Was very helpful in choosing a hearing aid for my dad. It change my dads life. They taught him how easy it is to used the hearing aids.

Had an amazing experience! Dr. Leiterman, Dr. Truong, Dr. Scanlon and Briana were very helpful and patient with my dad. He was having vertigo problems but after seeing Dr. Truong once, he started feeling so much better right away. After 2 visits, he felt perfectly fine and doesn’t have vertigo problems anymore. I totally recommend coming here!

Dr. Lieterman was absolutely fantastic, he made me feel really comfortable as it was my first time in the hearing aid world. As a 30 year old, he made sure to show me options that would suit my lifestyle, ones that would be adaptive to situations I would be present in. Everything he explained was very informative and straight forward and I felt confident I was making the right choice with him. Doctor Tin and the assistant Yuti who attended to my husband were very kind and patient, Doctor Tin explains very detailed and easy to understand, excellent service! He quickly detected my husbands big problem which was dizziness and vertigo, he also did treatment right away, I recommend this clinic 100%!Yesterday we went there and the service was incredible!
