There is a bird in the store. Yes, Paco the parrot. He hangs out in the back by the key area. At first I was kind of sad because he wasn’t on his perch in the aisle. But then I realized he was sleeping by the wall. I crept up slowly to take a photo without disturbing him, but he somehow knew I was there and opened one beady eye to look at me. Haha.The guy behind the key counter was really nice. Too bad they didn’t have the key that we needed for an Acura Integra, so we needed to go to a key smith somewhere else.

The benefit of a smaller hardware store is the service. Ace has that, but also an incredible selection. I was impressed and pleased that I could find all I needed for my patio project.

Never had a bad experience shopping here! Everyone is always super helpful whenever Ive gone in. Very happy with my purchases. They even helped me drill some metal for a guitar part I had gotten with screws that didnt fit, they helped me find screws that would fit and drilled through the metal part so they would fit and I havent had a problem with it since installing it!

Though their prices are a bit expensive, their vast selection of products is too good not to take up.

The classic neighborhood hardware store. They have most of the same stuff as the big boys, but they are closer and the crowd is much easier to manage. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and the store is well organized so things are pretty easy to find. This is the perfect place if you need to run in and grab something. Again, they dont have all the bells and whistles of the bigger chain stores, but they difficult get the job done. Check out their parrot, but dont touch! He bites.

Rude 0 customer service old man idk if he was the manager stopped a guy at the glass department from helping me and suggested I wait a day or a week for cutting me a piece that would take him 5 minutes. Now Im driving to a different ace hardware to get help

I have been going to this hardware store since I was a small child. While it does not have the large selection as the big box stores. If you know what you need exactly. Its great, in and out quickly. And it is great to support a family owned locally owned store rather than the big box stores.

In and out. Way better then the big box stores. They actually stock hardware, what a novel concept. Employees actually know what the things in their department do and where things are located. Priced competitively and your in and out in 10 minutes.

A throwback to the old days when a hardware store had the stuff you needed and the help you wanted. Even though it is an ACE store, they have not lost the old time feel and service. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Head to Woods for any hardware need, especially if it is an uncommon, out of the ordinary and you need more choices than what you find in the big box stores. Prices are on par with the big boys too.

Been to many Ace Stores. They are handy, local, helpful but cost a little bit more. Well, worth it in my mind. This store is the best of the best. I am as handy as a wet noodle. They have guided me and even told me that I would have to go to Home Depot because they did not have the items (even though they seem to have much more than any other Ace Stores I have ever seen). They immediately gained my family respect years ago. One problem: that advertising jingle still rings in my head daily! ACE IS THE PLACE! How do I remove that?

Small place when compared to Home Depot but they have a good variety of stuff in there very friendly and helpful staff unlike Home Depot the staff really knows what theyre talking about so you can ask him questions and get a good answer if that person doesnt know then theyll refer you to someone else in the store that does
