My all time favorite golf store. Bought my first set here and when I felt the need to upgrade bought the second set here too. When I need to change my grips, this is where I go too. Service is always great!

Lack of selection really killed the fitting for me. Club fitter was Tyler who was very nice and he seemed knowledgable and competent but they have a poor selection of shafts and heads. Only had 2 degree lie angle heads, didnt have any shafts that were +1/2 length or midsize grips. Overall was very disappointed in the process since I couldnt swing the actual club that was supposed to fit me. They are known to have a top club fitter working there but not sure how great it is to have great people with a poor product environment.

Put new grips on nephews junior clubs, done in 15 minutes, courteous, quick, friendly, professional

Bought a set of clubs from Plaza Golf a couple of months ago and unfortunately the strap broke on the golf bag. Took it in and they immediately replaced my bag with a new one! I would rate Plaza Golf higher if I could! Extremely helpful and friendly staff and high quality merchandise!

Really cant recommend Plaza Golf enough. I was lucky enough to have a club fitting with Todd and it was essentially a religious experience. You need to get a club fitting here. Dont think about it. Just do it.

I recently started shopping at Plaza Golf and have been met with consistently friendly and professional service during each visit. I also had a fitting session with Todd which was a very comfortable and pleasant experience with no pressure to make a purchase. He made recommendations based on my swing, and explained why I was seeing some of the numbers I was getting on the launch monitor (Trackman), as well as what my optimal numbers should be. He is very detail oriented, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I understand why his fitting schedule is always booked. Prices for equipment and club repair are very fair and competitive with the big box stores. This is the place to go to if youre in or around the South Bay.

Plaza Golf is 5 Star!I had a club fitting with Todd and so glad I did this before buying a set of clubs. I went in thinking of buying a particular brand of club and ended up buying the brand (clubs) that worked with me. Versus me working with the club.Todd was nothing but professional, knowledgeable and gives you information that helps you to make your decisions. There was no pressure to buy one brand over the other. The pricing was very comparable to pricing at other retails. I got a great price on my new set of Taylormade Sim 2, irons, driver, fairway, hybrid!! Sooo happy!!! I’ll be back

Will not be coming back again.Edit: appreciate the reply, but it makes it seem like the reason she snapped at me was because I wasnt following the rules or being patient? Is that what she told you? I have no problems following the rules or waiting. It was my first time there (so I would not be aware of the rules) and I simply asked if there was anything else I needed to do while she was writing me up. When I said she was being rude, she acted in disbelief as if I was the instigator here.

I got fitted for a new set of irons. (Free fitting with purchase) Professional and personal experience. They beat rodger dunn prices. I would reccommend plaza golf.

Todd and his staff are amazing! I have purchased 2 sets of irons, a putter, two wedges, and replaced all my woods with them. Todd is an incredibly talented club fitter and will never try and over sell you. After my game had outgrown the 1st set of irons he fitted me for and loved, I went back to be fitted again for something to move up from the GI’s.Todd noticed something in my swing and made a critical adjustment to the lie angle that has changed everything for me. My new Mizuno’s arrived and feel better than anything I’ve ever put in my hand. I have recommended him to all my friends who needed fittings and they have all come back happy and grateful. My best friend was so tired of listening to me rave about him and my new sticks so he is driving all the way down from Santa Barbara just to be fitted by him next week!

Plaza golf has been in Torrance for years and is the go to place for golf equipment. Its not just a buy this and thanks. Plaza golf has golf knowledge of what you need and what fits your game. They have a fitting center in the back. They have been in golf digest as top 100 club fitters in America for the last few years. What blows me away everytime I go in is the Scotty Cameron glass display. In the display are Cameron putters new and old rare along with rare scotty head covers. They offer club fitting, bending of loft and lies and regrips. They have everything a male or female or Jr golfer would need.

One of the few independent golf shops still around. You can visit and shoot the breeze with the sales people while you wait for your clubs to be regripped. Last years clubs are usually discounted. There are putting areas and fitting facilities. About a third of the floor is clothing.

Have been a customer of Plaza Golf for years. Tried the Roger Dunns and Golf Smiths but nothing compares to this family oriented golf shop. I will be getting fitted for new irons very soon and am anxious to see what Todd recommends. The staff and service is second to none!!!!!!

This young Asian sales person was very condescending. Good for him that he claims hes such a great golfer but he should not make beginners feel insignificant and worthless by making sarcastic and condescending comments. I would not go back there again, I hope the owners know the damage this cocky kid is doing to their business.

Ive known Todd for years. I was a loyal customer at their then West LA Store. Because of the outstanding service I stay loyal and will not shop anywhere else.

Depends what youre looking for. If you need to get fitted by someone who really knows their stuff, and you need clubs made to the highest standards, this is the place. Professional, they take their time with you and dont sell you what they are being incentivized to sell... Theyll price match the big boys too so definitely worth a visit.

This place has the best services and prices around. I went to the bigger stores to pick out a set of irons. The services at those stores were just OK. They were trying hard to push out product instead of trying to understand what works best for me. Then I went to Plaza and worked with Roy. He took the time to go over my swing and suggested a few clubs that I might like. He was very patient as I spent 2 -3 hours with him going over various brands.This place has a family feeling with quality customer service rarely seen today. If you are looking to buy apparel, clubs or even just accessories, stop on by and pay a visit to Plaza. Youll be surprised how they take care of you.

I had a little help with a new wedge, explained to the salesman i needed it 3D up he said we do that here... he walked me up to the counter, let them now it was his sale and walked away. Counter man ask if i needed anything else...I ask what the sales man (young Asian) had told him about the wedge, nothing had been relayed about the lye change. Salesman was in the wind. I left the club on the counter and walked out. NEVER again to plaza golf.
