I recommend this shop. From my experience this was a friendly honest shop with experience and a good price. I usually work on my own car but my check engine light had been on due to my catalytic converters/o2 sensors, and I was running late for my getting my smog check done and trying to go on vacation.I first went to another shop in Redondo, cars automotive and muffler, and got a quote for 2.5K, telling me two of my three catalytic converters needed to be replaced and several of my o2 sensors. I just couldn’t believe that, and the price was high. I took it to Hermosa Automotive II at the recommendation of the nice man at Eco Smog down the street.They were very responsive and clear on the phone, and did the diagnosis by the next day, telling me one just cat and one o2 sensor needed to be replaced for about 1K. They did a great job, cleared my code and got my Cherokee properly smogged at a reasonable price. The difference is that they know what they’re doing and not trying to scam innocent people taking peoples hard earned money for non-issues like other shops. If I ever need my car worked on I will be a returning customer. Thanks Anthony and all.

I was traveling to Torrence from AZ to meet up with some friends that live out of the country. As soon as I hit LA traffic my car started acting up on me. I was so upset because I am not familiar with the area at all. I made it to my hotel and the front desk gave me the information for Hermosa Automotive II, which was just around the corner. I ended up leaving my keys in the overnight drop box. They dont open until 8 and I got a call by 9 the next morning relieving my mind that the repairs werent going to be as extensive as I thought and they were very straightforward about what it was going to cost me. By mid-day they were finished. I arrived to pick up my car and they took the time to show me everything that was done. They offered to check it over again before I had to head back to AZ the next week. They even commended me on how well Ive kept up on maintenance. It was such a relief to be so well taken care of while I was out of town. The only downfall was that I was traveling when I discovered them and cant use them as my regular mechanics.

Ive been a customer of this place for five years and have had four vehicles serviced. Service is great and prices are fair. As long as I live in the South Bay area Ill continue to come here.

I brought my 66 mustang here to get some minor work on it, a new carburator and exhaust manifold to be exact and they even fixed my power steering pump that was leaking for no charge. Ever since then I been bringing all my friends to this shop. Robert is the main owner but he also has another shop full of experts that will come to this shop and fix any issue.
