Immediately after shopping at Tokyo Central I had came to the S-Mart and got more ingredients for yesterdays dinner. One of the things that gets me about the S-Mart is that the open display of fish and shrimp that we can select ourselves (the lobsters in the tank are great to look at too). The grocery selections are good and the atmosphere is nice and subtle and the customer service is great! Again I love shopping at Asian stores and Ill be back for sure. Way to go S-Mart!!

I bought the marinated Kalbi from S-Mart. All you need to do is cook it at home and serve over a bowl of rice. So Good!!!

My favorite Asian store !!!I wish its closer to where I lived and dont have to travel all the way to torrance but its always worth a visit.whe get our ground pork and beef here coz its clean not too frozen and cheap.99 cents a lb for pork and $1.99 for beef.I get my Korean fried chicken fix here.But not todays visit as we bought meats and sides for our day kbbq at home.Their side dishes too was soo good.you need to try the spicy garlic,onion,Korean potato salad and more.

I absolutely loved this market from the moment I entered it. There were lots of people shopping, however everyone was wearing masks so I wasnt alarmed by it. There were so many fresh fruits and veggies! The seaweed and kelp selection was expansive. And I bought the most adorable bowl and tea plate. The workers were very friendly and I shared a giggle with them when I said a few Korean words wrong 🤣 Dont worry though, everyone I encountered (staff-wise) spoke English - I just wanted to practice my Korean with people that I heard speaking in Korean. Lines went fast and were bagged quickly. Overall, great visit. I will be back!!

Authentic Korean, albeit a bit pricey. If you are looking for an economical grocery store in the neighborhood, this aint it. Go to Arco. Huge variety of seafood and authentic Korean brand name food. Very friendly and helpful staff

I usually come here for their authentic Northern Vietnam cuisine. However, all their Pho items and rice plates are totally satisfying. The manager there, John, is the man.

Although not as complete as 99 Ranch in Rosemead, but just as complete as 99 Ranch Gardena.

I love this Korean supermarket. They carry many produce grown in the USA. I usually buy fruits and vegetables here, also mushrooms and tofu. The quality of the produce is very good. Prices are very competitive.

Surprisingly good selection. Top notch merchandise, cheaper than a lot of other markets.

They have a bakery, Qchon Chicken, Sushi place, and a lot of nice snacks.

Ok place to buy produce. My only thing is some of the produce they sell are not fresh. They also have Korean bbq already marinated and ready to cook( reason for 3 star) and they have cheap sushi inside that only takes cash but really good rolls! Other than that its ok.

Due to the covid, we had to buy the equipments and food to make at home korean bbq. It has the best pork bellies for decent price. Also beef ribs, kobe beef, ribeye, and also they have a lot of side options already made. So many cool snacks, a sushies joint, korean wings (the pickles radish sooo good), and even cool kitchen gadgets.

UPDATE: 2/4/21Took my friend friend from OC. Had taken some rolls over about 6 months before. She was in the area and she wanted to go see this little shop. We had a Rainbow Roll, Spider Roll and one other roll. She was in Heaven and cant wait to come back. So, maybe even with the higher prices this is still a sweet little gem. Visit for yourself and see for yourself. Dont forget --- CASH ONLY!!UPDATE: 9/8/20Just went in today to get a not-so- happy surprise of a 25% price increase! I had been there 2 weeks ago. I got my bill and wondered why it was SO much and was told prices went up 2 months ago! Substantial difference for cash only inconvenience. Will have to reconsider in the future.There is a all sushi shop inside that is the best! Cash only! No credit or debit cards. Great prices and generous sizes.

S-Mart has a large variety of vegetables and of course an extensive selection of Korean products. From multiple types of mushrooms to selling big leeks, you can get what you need for an Asian meal. The only qualm I have is that now that they have tried to restructure the store for COVID, it can be cramped in many aisles of the store. The flow was also not great, you had to squeeze by people often. It made me uncomfortable to be there for too long because of this. I didnt see like anyone monitoring the number of customers coming in either. Also, parking can be crowded for some reason. When I went it was not too crowded inside but the parking lot was full! Otherwise, I enjoy their selection of precooked foods like spicy rice cakes, and the best part of the store for me and my siblings are the two restaurants inside. The sushi place and a Korean fried chicken business, both have equally delicious food for take out.

Cluttered and hard to understand the organization but the produce is fantastic and the meat selection is broader than most markets. Many import food items and the bakery has yummy treats!

The picture shows the real maize, freshly cooked and then frozen. A joy to eat if you want a break from the soft sweet corn. Didn’t find everything I needed.

I will never love another market like I love S-Mart.

S-Mart is a good place. They seem to have better quality items than other grocery stores. They may be a little more expensive than some other grocery stores but, as the old adage says, you get what you pay for.

This is the place for all of your Korean ingredients: produce, sauces, seaweeds, seafood, meats, noodles... and, of course, all manner of kimchi and other banchan. I highly recommend you visit and just stroll around.

Korean market, usually clean, fresh produce, has the best selection of Korean ramen compared to others near by.

It is a medium sized Korean market stocked with major brands, although choices are fairly limited compared to larger Asian markets. They sell marinated meats and do sashimi cuts on fish. Their vegetables are competitively priced for the quality. They also have banchan section with prepackaged banchans. They have a points system which you can accumulate and spend against your purchase. One interesting aspect is that they have a large choice of frozen mandoo, often times with booths where you can taste the ones on promotion. Worst aspect is that they have really small selection of Asian soft drinks and ice cream. Also has small section with Korean and japanese electronic appliances, such as rice cookers. Cashier ladies are friendly and you pay for bags. I go here because its closest, but if I had a choice I would go to the larger Korean markets.

Very small location with crammed aisles and no employees to really help you if youre looking for something. Waiting area to check out a bit confusing regarding which check stand is available because signage calls you even though previous customer is still checking out.

Korean Fish Market with Excellent Sushi Place (Take Out) Best Dragon Rolls and Salmon Rolls are really FRESH and DELICIOUS! Dont be deterred by the smell of the fish market...the Sushi Counter has FRESH SUSHI that in the store at the North West Corner ( Left Side of Store When You Walk In.) One more thing that is unusually cool about this market, they play Country Music in the store. Yeah, its not what you would expect coming from an Asian Market..but it tells me that the are people who work here are not closed minded, and they are open to experiencing a little of our culture.

Great varieties Korean/Asian super market. Reasonable prices... though the ready-made prepackaged food tend to be pricey. Has sample stations similar to Costco. Fast & efficient service. Best features = large selection of fresh produce at reasonable prices.

The cleanliness is good. Quality of the products is very good. Prices are reasonable . Variety of products is there. But since many of employees are Korean speaking, I find it difficult to find things of my choice. It will be great if some of staff also speak English.

Great food vendors. Be sure to order food first and then shop. It takes awhile but the foods are well worth it.

Overall great selection of Koren/asian groceries. The sushi restaurant inside is good quality for price. Just over $7 for a specialty roll, over $4 for a California Roll.
