I like my technology, but when I have any issues, I still appreciate dealing with REAL PEOPLE. Personnel at this location have always been helpful and patient and able to help with pretty much all of my problems.I definitely suggest going during non-peak times. They are somewhat limited with staff and trying to maintain safety for all of us.

Verizon billing is a joke. They wont adjust bill and say they dont prorate bill. So when a check with a letter is sent disputing their bill they ignore it and instead they turn it over to collection agency. Collection agency response to client is Verizon says bill has never been disputed. This is blatant lie on Verizons part. Sometime later when client refuses to deal with 3rd party (collection agency) because they refuse to obtain letter sent to Verizon disputing bill. Verizon then empowers collection agency to settle bill at a substantial reduction. Verizon is using collection agency to settle their bill. Negative posting to credit reporting agency. Attorney generals office here in Kansas looking into this matter.

My old phone died and was forced to purchase a new one. I was fearful because technology is not always my friend. I found a friend at Verizon. Noah was patient, understood my needs, understood that I didnt need a NASA grade phone and told me the truth when I tried to steer my own self wrong. He took the time needed to get me set up on the new phone where my Boomer knowledge could take over. I made an appointment the day before and I highly recommend doing so. I got right in and had such a positive experience with Noah. He has remarkable customer service skills. Ask for him by name. You wont regret it.

Topeka, KansasI had a pair of Galaxy ear buds, one stopped working. I reached out to tech coach just to help me troubleshoot them to see if I could get it to work. After being on the phone multiple times and being transferred to their two support I was told that they were under warranty, to just go to the corporate store and they will replace the defective device. I got on the website and it said to set an appointment to be seen. I was there really early and was distracted when I looked up to see nobody wearing masks or waiting for someone else to come out before going in. So after an hour waiting, super mad, I walked in and waited even more. After about 5 minutes a polite employee asks my number to get me an appointment, he notices I had an appointment and I stressed to him, with frustration, about what the website says, plus being on the phone for half my work day. He proceeds to to me that he cant warranty my ear buds. He must have read my face, because I was HOT! He proceeds to tell me that for all my frustrations that he WILL warranty them, just in a different color. I told him that would be great. Then he lets me know that they are currently on sale and upgraded me for free plus had some money left over if I wanted to purchase an additional accessory. Well I didnt need anything. I was totally grateful enough with the even replacement, let alone the upgrade. He told me to wait where I was and he had to check something. He came back out from the back of the store and told me I could get the newest ear buds for a difference of.... $2.85! I asked if he was joking, he reassured me he wasnt. I paid the man. Let him know how grateful I was, when I didnt come in to upgrade, just fix what I had since I use them l the time. This employee was the store manager and being in management most of my life, he really turned my disappointment day around. I appreciate all he did to make me a happy customer! Thank you again!! Maybe Ill start going into the store more often now!

My Moto z4 phone was on the fritz. The person helping me determined it needed to be replaced. So, he got it set up, it delivered next day. When it came in, he helped get almost everything transferred over to the replacement. Very good service.

The store manager (Mike, I think) helped my daughter and me. He was great! He helped me transfer everything to my new phone and got it all set up. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!! You can order online AT the store and pick up there!

Rates kept going up. Switched to T-Mobile -- service same or better at half the rate and over 50% off of new phone. The tablet was left active. They charged me full service rate for several months even wirh no phone usage. As a business teacher and business owner this is by far the worst experience and financial ripoff I have every heard of and unfortunately experienced. I paid the amount to put this behind me. If you have a good experience you may share, if you have a very bad experience you share with everyone for a very, very long time. Shameful of you Verizon. If negative rating possible, I clearly would have selected. Choose better potential customers.

Ive always liked this place, tech guy. If you know what you want, they can put it together quickly. If you dont, you could be there for hours not including the return trips. Do some homework first. If the people in front of you dont know......youre in for a long day, good luck.

The staff at the store were helpful but their customer service over the phone is terrible. Recently we tried setting up my son on his own plan. He was told he was approved. When we called customer service two weeks later about a question we had about a email he received from Verizon. The email said his order was canceled but had service for two weeks and was even billed for his phone. Instead of helping him out, they turned his service off without any warning. When we tried calling back to speak to customer service, we couldnt get thru. Unless youre first responders, military, or a teacher they will not be helpful to you.

Sales associate was very rude. I asked her about a promotion that was going on, she made fun of me and said it was called an online promotion for a reason. This was not an online promotion according to Verizon’s nation phone number and the discount should have been applied. Then the associate would not let me make as big of a down payment as I would have liked to, she said Verizon does not allow this. When I called the national number they also informed me this was false. I called the manager to report this and he seemed to not care. I would not recommend this location. They would not have given me my discounts or let me pay for my phone up front. I would not have found this out if I did not get frustrated and tried a different location. The different location gave me the correct information just did not have the phone I wanted. So I only called the national number after being left on hold for over 15 minutes, then there store closed so the system automatically transferred my call.

I took my son into this store to open up a account in his own name while he was on leave from the military. The lady started off from the beginning being helpful; getting him approved and having him select the phone. She brought the phone out and started setting it up for him. While she was setting up his new phone she had him sign saying that for any reason he had 14 days to return the phone however he would be charged a 35.00 restock fee. As she continued to setup the phone I asked her if that was the IPhone 6s Plus she responded no it was just the iPhone 6. I knew my son wanted the IPhone 6s Plus because I was standing beside them when he was talking to the sale rep. She response no I will be right back with the correct phone. When she returns she states that she will have to charge my son the 35.00 restock because she never heard him say he wanted the 6s plus. I tried to reason with sales lady as well as my son but she stuck to her guns. She charged him the 35.00 for her getting it wrong by not paying attention in the first place. I have never been in a situation where a customer has to pay for an employees mistake. The funny thing is after she finished helping my son I was going to switch providers and buy a couple phones myself. Not after watching how Verizons employee conducted business; my current provider doesnt look that bad after all.

This VERIZON store could be compared to a blind man driving a car. At first glance you would not assume there would be any issues, but take one step inside and you will clearly see the lack of staff, enthusiasm, effort. This store has to be one of the most poorly ran VERIZON store I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Upon arrival, myself and several other customers patiently waited near the entry way. What little staff they had on shift were either in the back room or making excuses as to why they couldnt help you at the moment. It took an astonishing 20 minutes before myself or the surrounding crowd was checked in. At which time two of the waiting customers made payments in person due to the in store automated payment machine not accepting credit or debit cards. The overall moral, work ethic and experience of this store has reached an all time low. I can say with certainty that this store is the most ill managed VERIZON I have ever stepped into. After 50 minutes of standing around contemplating what could cause this store to run so poorly, I was told I could not upgrade my phone at the moment due to a shortage of the phone I was requesting. This is understanding and excusable, what is not excusable is the fact that I told the staff which phone I was coming to buy while checking in. This would have been the appropriate time to mention they were sold out rather than making someone wait for an additional 30 minutes.If I could, I would give this VERIZON store 0 stars.

Went in for a Sim card for my sons phone that he had just replaced. Lady who helped us asked if I wanted to upgrade my phone since I was probably eligible. .I said no thanks, my phone is fine. So she goes in the back, runs a credit check on me and tells me I should upgrade.. I get the credit notification in email while Im driving home that they did a hard credit inquiry and dropped my credit score 2 points... Thatll stay for 6 Months....not cool.

Picked up my free tablet with a purchase of an iphone 6s, a special they were running through Mothers Day. I had discussions with the clerk about taking the free tablet, but not wanting ANY charges with it, that I was going to just let my son just use it for note taking, etc. I did sign something in an electronic box, but thought it was for my phone. Apparently I had signed for a two year contract on the tablet with an activation fee and a monthly charge. Now of course we didnt realize this until we received our bill almost a month later and apparently well past their return date. It cost me $175.00 to buy out of my contract for my FREE tablet. I should have known nothing is ever free. They did offer to sign me up for a new plan to save me $12/month (and cut my data usage in half). If you have to go to this location, be careful, they are well trained in how to say the correct thing (aka how to make you think you are getting a good deal, but you are getting a higher charge for less service). I would suggest not going to the corporate store and choose the locally owned franchise. They will work with you more. Every time we go to get new phones, we feel like we have been double crossed. Last visit they took away our plan with unlimited data without our permission.

The associate I did my multiple device transaction with helpful and easy to work with! The problem was when some credits that were part of the deal werent applied, the manager did a horrible job at correcting the issue and providing good customer service. I had to go back 4 times and ended up spending more than $200 out of pocket than what was originally discussed.

They must have the worst customer service of any retailer Ive been to. After trading in my phone for a new Pixel 3, they sold me an accessory bundle that they said I could completely trade in within 14 days if I didnt like. Little did I know, that included a wireless charger not designed for my Pixel 3 and would take 6 hours to charge it. They also said I could choose between a couple different cords for the extra charger in the bundle so I asked for one with a USB outlet for my computer and cars USB outlet. After getting home, I realized they gave me the wrong cord. So I went back in and asked them to exchange it for the one I wanted, and they happily gave me an outlet and cord that cost the same retail value. Unfortunately they accidentally removed my $300 promotional value for my phone upgrade that I had to call customer support to fix but I was happy to have gotten the exchange. After that however, I found out that the USB cord didnt allow my phone to connect to either vehicle and only slow charged the phone. With the wireless pad being not designed for the Pixel, I asked if I could just exchange those two items for a Pixel stand and pay whatever little extra it was. They said they could but when I went in, they told me that the way the last exchange was processed (which was never explained to me) they couldnt take the charger back. They wouldnt pay me a penny for a charger that they couldve resold for $20. Just an overall dishonest store that doesnt explain anything that might be useful for you to understand.Reply: Apparently I cannot reply to your response, so I will just edit this post. All I can say, is its really easy to apologize to an online review without actually having to provide better service. The store manager had a chance to rectify the previous mistakes made; she acknowledged that the salesmen should have explained what they were doing, and that I had been lied to. Did she make it right with me? No.

Asked if Uh-Oh Protection covers cracked screens and was told no Verizon insurance does not cover that. I didnt ask if Verizon insurance covers it. Asked how to switch phones. I was advised to switch carriers! HTC is a cheap phone! Verizon is great. This location needs training on customer service.

This location is notoriously slow. They will put you in the queue, but then prepare to wait a long time.... Our salesman also was deceptive and did not disclose the details. We read the receipt and our statement to discover the mistakes. We then had to go back for another wasted hour. I will not be going to this location again. AT&T is my choice.

On Monday, October 2, 2017, I went to Verizon at 1920 SW Wanamaker Road in Topeka, Kansas because my Google Pixel phone would not download any Apps, would not Update Apps, and would not allow music to be played on my BOSE speaker. A very kind gentleman whose name is Chris assisted me. As it turns out he is the store Manager. My phone had internal mechanical problems and since my phone was still under Warranty Chris arranged for me to receive a new replacement Pixel phone the very next day at my home.On Tuesday my phone arrived and I returned with the new phone to Verizon to have all my information transfered from the old phone to my new phone. Teresa who is a highly skilled Verizon Solution Specialist, assisted me and got my new phone all set up and running. I was extremely pleased with the services provided to me as well as the very kind and caring staff at this store and for this reason I give 5 stars ( I would give more stars if it were possible.) Thank you Chris and Teresa!❤️

Made an appointment online went in and verified since you have to sign In we watched multiple people come in and sign in after us and they were helped first. 45 minutes later we were tired of waiting and not being approached so we left. Went to Verizon on 21st and we were in and out with a new phone in less then 30 minutes. I will never go back to this store again.

This location was very deceptive. Cliff said with the new iphone we bought for my Dad we could get an iPad at 50% off. We originally went in to buy a phone and add a line of service. He said the iPads were a great deal. I figured wed try them and bought 2. He said he even got one for his 3 yo son since it was so cheap. We get home and I look at the bill and we had added 3 lines of service, had data plans for each device and $40 activation fees for each and $10 per month line access for each. Cliff did not mention anything about them being carrier tablets! He did not mention adding all the lines, data fees or activation fees!! He did tell us they could be brought back within 14 days and there would be a $35 restocking fee if we returned them. Needless to say, we brought them back. Of course the return was done incorrectly, so after returning them and waiting an hour to be helped, I will have to go back a second time to get the bill straightened out. I did pay the $35 restocking fee on each tablet. If the Verizon salesperson had been honest and up front in the first place, this could have all been avoided. I seriously doubt Cliff bought a carrier tablet for his 3 yo. Im considering changing to AT&T.

I signed up for a new cell phone with the new every 2 program on the internet. After I received the phone, the battery would die every other day. I make calls, no texting, no data, no bluetooth, just phone use only. I took it to the store and asked if I had a setting in the phone that was causing the battery to run down quickly. The Verizon employee held it and looked at it, then said that 2 days is about all the longer a battery charge would last. I asked him why my old previous phones would got a week without use, and with some use they would last four days. His response was that they dont make them like they used to.I called Verizons customer service 800 number and they said the phone should not drain the battery that fast. The phone call should have been my first move. The group at 1920 SW Wanamaker dont care about your problem unless you are willing to upgrade and make a purchase to one of their phones.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! The girl with the short Butch haircut treated my wife and i like total garbage, she was arrogant and cocky. For 20 minutes she kept trying to force phones on us that we were NOT interested in (instead of listening to what we actually wanted) we finally told her that there were other cell companies we could go to if she wasnt willing to let us look at the phone we were asking about...she said See ya and walked away. WELCOME SPRINT!!!! We got 6 phones and a new plan with a new company after 17 yrs with Verizon.
