I received excellent service from very diligent and knowledgeable AT&T representatives at this store. I appreciated their dedication to getting a transfer of service done correctly, and the associates willingness to follow up with me twice over the phone dealing with my specific issue to ensure that everything was fully taken care of. I did notice while there that representatives seemed to be “racing” each other to open the door for incoming customers. Their eagerness was sometimes appreciated, especially by those individuals who may have a more difficult time managing the door. But generally the gesture seemed a bit odd, if not completely unnecessary, and sometimes even obnoxious. I asked about this odd behavior and was informed that the door opening is done as a show of commitment to customer service. I’m not sure that this aggressive tactic is necessary to ensure quality customer service from individuals who are working on a commission basis. They are already financially motivated to ensure customer satisfaction. Management setting the expectation of the associates opening the door for every customer seems completely unnecessary and a bit of a power trip. I came to this store specifically because I know they have fantastic customer service, something I knew from previous encounters, without the door being awkwardly held open for me.

Excellent service. First time I have had an employee open the door for me and walk me to the door when I was leaving. Marcus was very friendly and courteous as well as knowledgeable. He was very patient with me and made me feel confident about how to use my new Apple Watch. Although they were very busy I never felt like he was rushing to get done with me so he could wait on another person.

Went in here for a new phone for my aunt. An associate told me there was a $90 deal on a A12 Samsung. Once everything was said and done he tells me the promotion was over on October 7th the same day as my birthday he seen on my ID. I should have walked off what a lier I payed the $250. Phone salesmen are worse then used cars Jesus. 😡

I have been to Att twice for assistance with my phone. Both people handed the phone back and told me they couldnt help me. I was stunned at the dismissive attitude and no suggestions. I came back today, inhad a solution I thought might work. LAUREN said she could help, took my phone and fixed it in 4 seconds! I was elated, relieved, thankful. Lauren is the one who had a simple answer. No cost, I love this kind of service

Make an appointment. It is not always possible of course depending on the circumstances, but I can almost always get an appointment set for a soon as an hour out on the same day from when I start looking for one. Then there will be almost no wait if you make an appointment online first. Takes in 2 minutes to set it up online. There is still so many people that just show up to the store without an appointment, and then the wait can be super long for them.That said, my experience on yesterday at my appointment with Alex was great. My wifes phone was broken so we went in to replace, and also look at an upgrade for myself while there. Alex was very friendly, informative, and patient. Answered all of our questions, and even put up with us changing around what we wanted a few times as we talked through options and pricing. I have had little to no problems with this store in my experiences. Great service, but Alex needs a raise.

These guys went above and beyond for my family recently. I went in one weekend to have my cell phone bill looked out. We had a huge fee for roaming charges. They noticed everything was done right and I just needed to call customer service to square it up. No biggie. Well, that went nowhere so that coming weekend I drove out there again (mind you an hour drive because this store has always been so amazing and helpful). Same associate was there, Tristian! He instantly remembered me and I explained how customer service wasn’t doing much and if there was any way he could help me. Almost 2hrs he spent with me on hold and waiting to get our plan figured it out. He could have easily told me to leave and handle it myself but he really wanted to make sure these charges were dropped from our bill. After all the call this number, please wait, hold again, we finally got my bill figured out and charges dropped! Tristian was so patient and understanding. We will be going back again to upgrade our plans through him. He really went above and beyond for helping!

Went in to get a new phone. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and placed in the queue to see someone. There were 4 or so people in front of me but the wait wasnt too long. The store is crisp and clean with plenty of seating.JaWon helped me with my phone purchase. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. Got burned by the great scam. Went in to have the content of one phone transferred to another phone, and they just happened to leave out that by doing this both devises will be Blocked from network use So when I went back all they said is Thats how we sell phones, just go to walmart and buy another one, simple fix What a scam, time to spread to word to start moving to Verizon...

My wife and I went into the Wanamaker AT&T on 6-2-2021, we were greeted immediately and only had to wait about 20 mins. We were helped by Isaiah and he was absolutely wonderful, he made our visit hassle free and made conversation the whole time! He made the process of getting new phones the easiest it has ever been for us and we will now be requesting him if we ever go in for something else!

The AT&T employee, Isaiah Declerck, who took care of us was totally AWESOME!! Super knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and most importantly, trustworthy! We felt tremendous confidence in his ability to take care of the variety of things we needed to have done at our appointment. By the time we finished up with Isaiah, my husband and my son (Frank and Adam) were much more at ease with adapting to their new phones on their own. Isaiah was the best. After a frustrating experience at another store, JaWon met us at the door with a smile. He quickly found out what we needed, made sure I had the information he needed and we were on our way. My son has autism and started to melt down when the choices for a new phone were overwhelming. JaWon was patient, helped narrow our options and didn’t bat an eye. His manager Evelyn came to check on us and made sure we were fully taken care of, offering fist bumps and encouragement to my son. For a process that could have taken hours and caused a lot of frustration, we were on our way in less than one and all the concerns about customer service gone!

Sean, the manager, was very rude to me he threatened to hang up on me after I was questioning a bill. He was very unprofessional and was in a very angry tone the entire phone call. AT&T basically stole my money and they were doing nothing to help me. I will not be using their services ever again. Their customer service number was also very rude to me and said some very bad words to me. I cannot believe a company is allowed to be run like this. Unbelievable I hope the upper management hears about this

I want to recognize Isaiah Declerck. He took a lot of time to help me figure out what mistake had been done by another AT&T associate. After figuring it out, he wrote down everything I should tell the customer loyalty and retention associate and the problem was fixed in 20 min. Prior to that, I spent 9 hrs of my life being transferred to different people and companies. He is fabulous.!! Ask for him

I went into the AT&T store on Wanamaker for assistance activating my new phone. Isaiah was assigned to help me, and he was very polite & helpful. We discovered that my phone was activated, but something wasn’t working correctly. He determined that when my plan was set up through Sam’s Club, they made several mistakes. I have been paying waaaay to much every month. Isaiah was able to get my phone activated, and set up my plan correctly. I would have to call a customer service number to request a refund for the amount I was overcharged.I have so much anxiety about calling customer service numbers. I shared this with Isaiah. He offered to sit with me while I made the call! I had already taken up a LOT of his time, so I told him I would try to do it on my own. This amazing guy wrote up a TALKING SCRIPT for me, including which numbers to press, and exactly what to say. Bless him! He also gave me his card, and told me to let him know if I had any difficulty.Isaiah made the whole experience so pleasant. He could sense that this was out of my comfort zone, and he asked me questions & visited with me to help me feel comfortable. He has a very calm demeanor. The icing on the cake- he REALLY knows his stuff! He is very competent, and fixed many, many mistakes that the salesperson at Sam’s club had made.So...AT&T management, if you read these reviews, please take note! This young man is an asset to your company. He is genuinely invested in the company, and cares about doing things the right way. He is someone who could problem-solve without ever losing his cool. There are many salespeople who are just in it for the sale. I cringe when I get one of them. They talk AT you, they don’t listen, they are a dime a dozen. I usually don’t take the time to write a review, so hopefully this shows how much I appreciate how Isaiah went above & beyond for me.

Lauren was outstanding with the customer service she provided us today. She explained the steps needed to reach our goal of walking out of the store with new phones. We purchased the Samsung galaxy A52. We received a good deal. Lauren was very thorough in finding us as many discounts as possible. Then, Chris, the manager, visited with several times and was very encouraging as well.We had a few snags, but ironed them all out very satisfactorily.

I opened a new account with AT&T online and it turned out to be a huge headache, but on the upside I went to the store on Wanamaker there I met Marcus and the assistant manager Evelyn whom were very eager and very happy to help me sort out the problem !The store was very busy !it was very clean, I was really quite surprised as to how they manage to get us through so fast and dissolve the problem., It was not what I thought it would be, having to go there in my experience of never going inside of one, and I was very impressed with the communication skills the Cleanliness, the way the Employees interact with the customers made me feel like I was valuable,and then I also got to speak with Sean who is also The head manager of that store who was very professional very courteous and knew right away what my problem was reviewed everything and make sure everything was on the up and up! LONG wait times, sometimes an hour. I have even made an appointment online ahead of time. Still had a 20 min. wait. THEN ......I have been told SO many different answers from different employees to the same questions each time I go in. Still not received a resolution. This store is the ONLY store to go to for purchasing and service in Topeka.The level of knowledge of all of the team members there is impeccable. They truly make the Customer #1 and will take the time to show you options and explain services without trying to hide anything.Bryce was simply outstanding working with us. We came in with 3 phones to upgrade and Bryce was friendly, ver patient and gave us his undivided attention. Whatever you do, dont get AT&T TV, now Direct TV. The worst customer service online, by chat, by phone, by tech, or in store. Started service 6/23 and never had working TV. Any attempt at help requires a 1.5 hr hold, such a waste of a LOT of money.

Buying a phone was always so terrifying for me because I know nothing about technology. But for my latest purchase I had Bryce help me! He was very kind and patient with me and answered every question I had thoroughly and in terms I could understand. It was a very busy time so there were a lot of customers in the store mostly using the one kiosk at&t had working to pay their phone bills. A lot of customers were having trouble with it but Bryce managed his time very efficiently and in between helping me helped 4 other customers who were needing help with the kiosk. His ability to efficiently help many people without leaving anyone feel helpless or like a burden is what makes a good sales person in my opinion. He was very pleasant to talk to and got everything done in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you Bryce for a wonderful visit!

Eric Bare, Sales Consultant was the most informative, patient, friendly, great listener, down to Earth, caring person which I have never experenced. I had a heck of a week on the phone with 5#s given ... back n forth from ATT & DirecTV when obviously the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing thus the transition of ATT takeover has not been a smooth one! Been a customer for 12 years now, sometimes I wonder why Im still with AT&T! Wanamaker store is less than helpful, ignores calls and when someone does answer they place you on hold and then hung up! They do not honor their quotes, the billing is different month to month also. Be prepared to have poor customer service and no explanation for high bills!

Evelyn was amazing. She is exactly what AT & T stands for. Evelyn made the process flawless, simple and took care of everything. I am a nurse and one thing I stand by is how well you treat those that are seeking to be cared for. When people come to you for help, there is nothing better than feeling confident you will be treated nicely. She was so funny too. My daughters smile when she got her phone was just the sweetest. I felt so at home. The best part was it was my daughter was my daughters 15th birthday a few days later and she took time to get everyone to tell her happy birthday in the store. Nothing better than that! It’s just so amazing to see the kindness behind some people. Additionally, I must say the gentleman that greeted us at the door, Isaiah, was very professional and ensured we would be taking care soon. Phillip helped us as we switched over from Sprint and even added a new line for 5 lines total.I was/am SO impressed with the way Phillip helped us! In a time when the customer service standard has all but went to the waste side, I have never had such superior service in my life!Ive been with Sprint for 26 years and was quite reluctant to make any changes, let alone, switch to a totally new company and Phillip IMMEDIATELY put my mind at ease! Id ordered a new iPhone from AT&T online as a gift for a relative, but once the phone arrived the setup process was not going smoothly for them. They were able to take the phone to the local store for help, where they got great service setting up the phone and managing the process of getting their old phone number transferred over. I was worried about going to a store for service on a product that wasnt purchased there (Im sure a lot of businesses wouldnt be thrilled about that) but Isaiah at this store went above and beyond to help us out. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this location, the only thing Id change is that I would go there first next time, and skip the online ordering part entirely, as Im convinced this entire process would have been much smoother if the pros at the AT&T store had been able to handle the order from start to finish.

Made an appointment online. Served by Chris within minutes of appointment time. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Made easy work of setting up new iPhone 12 mini. New sim card, activated new phone, installed update to operating system on the new phone, transferred data from old phone. Gave good advice about screen protector and protective case.(Pointed out that my first choice didnt give much protection beyond scratches. I appreciated his knowledge about the brands in his inventory. I left the store with my phone better protected than when I entered.) Installed protector and case for me. Chris Rowe is amazing! He helped take a very stressful situation and completely turn it around. Although I was told I only had two options (both were bad) before I came into the store, his attitude and focus was immediately on finding a different beneficial solution. In the end, that is exactly what he did. During the process he was kind, calm and considerate while keeping the focus on me and my needs. I ended up at this location because some miscreant managed to order a phone in my name, which was sent to my old address in Arizona. Somehow I received the bill in Topeka, which was for a total of over $1500. I called AT&T customer service, who told me to go to an AT&T store. The store manager, Emily, helped me, and I cant say enough good words about how positive the experience was. She got me on the phone with AT&T Fraud, and in less than an hour I walked out of the store no longer on the hook for the fraudulent charges. Emily was very knowledgeable, and was very helpful, pleasant and understanding throughout the whole ordeal. Again, I cant adequately describe how awesome the experience (and Emily) were. This was the best Black Friday special I could have hoped for.

Yesterday I had a bad experience with Marcus. He did not want to spend the time to explain my upgrade options or review my bill/plan changes. The wrong devices were ordered and on my accessories he did not give me the buy 2 get one free deal . I had to spend 2 additional hours on the phone with at&t representatives and then an additional 1 1/2 hours in the store to get it all corrected. Went back today to get everything fixed from the mess made yesterday, and had a pleasant experience with Darren. He helped get all of the phone orders fixed, spent the time to explain my options with devices and correct the issues that were made.

Breath of fresh air on the customer relations side of mobile phone service.I’ve had a number of bad experiences with mobile providers and store workers through the years - worst with Sprint. I have been blown away by how helpful, patient, friendly, and customer-centered the workers at this ATT store have been. Emily and Isaiah have both been great with me and worked through issues that were my fault and issues that were their fault as well. They have bent over backwards to make sure I was getting the most discounts possible for my plans and helped us switch over multiple people at different times from different providers with relative simplicity. I’d highly recommend this store to anyone.

Oh my gosh I cannot express enough gratitude to Lauren she was so patient and so polite she explained everything to me and made sure everything was working well before I left she fixed my plan so I am getting better deal and got me set up on auto pay which will save me money YAY!! I was so frustrated when I walked in and ready to leave ATT whom I have been with since early 90s she not only saved me from leaving but made me feel very satisfied when I left she spent a lot of time with me because we had password issues and had difficulty setting up auto pay on app she never lost patience with me. The IP address AT&T has assigned for our internet is blacklisted by sorbs.net. Figured no big deal. Ill call and theyll assign a new one. I figured wrong. They simply said they do not have the capability to issue a clean IP or change the one they have assigned, even though they own and control the IP addresses. They tried to forward us to a third party that would charge us money. The problem is still not fixed, and we have been instructed to wait between two weeks and a month, when the IP will change. I would give zero stars if it was possible. The customer service is unbelievably bad!!

My husband and I went in to upgrade our phones. We were impressed first by the fact that we could make an appointment to provide all of us with safety and social distancing. All of the staff and every customer while we were there for almost 3 hours wore masks. This was a huge factor in our comfort level today. Our sales associate, Isaiah D. at the Topeka Wanamaker store provided us with excellent customer service and such a pleasant experience. Due to his direct, professional and knowledgeable abilities he was able to help us not only upgrade our phones but switch to AT&T TV. He provided us with all of the price comparison information and answered all of our questions while we pondered switching our service from Cox.
