I worked here years ago and I use to love coming here, but my last visit has changed that. They are not as friendly as they use to be. Walked by several employees more than once, didnt get greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything. Customer service is a big deal.

I always have such a wonderful time here! Hands down, my favorite store to go to when I need something crafty! Everyone is always so polite and helpful here. I love creating things with resin and frequently go here for supplies. They have a great selection of everything, and always have good coupons and sales.

Always people working with good attitudes, probably a side effect of working somewhere that isnt super stressful as far as stores go. Pretty quiet and easy to shop at, and they have both cheap and fancy options for a lot of materials and huge arrays of options, pretty well organized and always clean.

Good variety of items. I was looking for watercolor brushes and found a good set, reasonably priced that can be used for other mediums.

They helped me return my stuff. Staff is always friendly and helps me find what i need and they make me feel like i belong and that i am welcome in the store. They are extremely professional!

Customer service, selection and check out were all excellent.

Well, there wasn’t anybody around to get something I needed. And then when I was checking out, the cashier didn’t use my coupons. First thing I said was, “I am a rewards member and I am a teacher.” Checked my receipt and there were no discounts. 🙄 I like Michael’s but geez… it’s frustrating when the cashier won’t even acknowledge what you have to say.

I love ordering pick up from Michaels. They get my order bagged up and I just walk in and get my supplies. The employees are always friendly and helpful. A little pricier than other art supply stores but they price match so Michaels is a no brainers when youre feeling creative. They always have little kids for sale for kids. Great seasonal products for every holiday. Overall a fun place to shop for supplies and ideas

I have started a new hobby calling felting. I read on their website that they had very many of the items I needed. When I got there it took me 20 minutes to find. Nobody was around to ask and when i did find it the choices were meager. I got a couple of things to start. But i think Amazon is my shopping place from now on.

Absolutely love this place the ladies that were there today were very very very helpful.. the prices 👍 awesome including discounts made me happy . Ill definitely return and I recommend anyone with or without a hobby should go to Michaels

This craft store is well stocked for most types of crafts. They have limited stock for wooden crafts which uses clear and pre-cut lumber.I consider the prices reasonable and the floor well organized.

They were out of everything I needed and while walking threw the store I would see things I liked but they would be out of my size or shade I wanted :(

Will not honor price matching.They have a very large red sign where itStates,We will match any price and beat it by10 percent. I was wishing to buy some prismacolorColored pencils the one hundred fifty pack.At Michaels they sell it for about 189.00On the Walmart webpage it is sold average (not sale) price for 91.99 on Amazon it goes for about 97.00This is the average price range on thisProduct across most websites. The one I ask for the price match on was Walmart. They flat refused to price match and said there computers wouldnt let them with that large of a price difference.They also would not price match amazon or any other site for that matter all this under the giant red sign that said we price match and will beat any price by ten percent 😒If you want an honest company with good prices Michaels is not for you.

Terrible customer service. Called ahead of time about returning a color pencil set. Mind you its not cheap but the lead kept breaking off when it was being sharpened. The woman we talked to on the phone said it would be no problem to return or exchange, even if its been used and you have no receipt. we can find it on your rewards account. Then we went in to either exchange or get our money back, they made a big deal as to why it cant be returned. Its been used. Cant return a product thats been used. Its against our policy even though we told them that it breaks off every time we sharpen it. They were very rude and disrespectful. They lost a very loyal customer and we will let all our friends and family know to never shop at Michaels in Topeka. We will be calling corporate on our experience with Michaels.

It was a great reference tool for me. What does a 24x36 frame look like? How about a 16x20? Its great to have a measuring tape but nothing like being able to visually capture the differences. They had every size I needed to compare and strolling through the store I got ideas for other crafts too.

I love Michaels. Its much better than Hobby Lobby. Great sales all the time.

Seem like every time I go in this store, there is always an awesome sale. My kiddos love to paint and last week the had every size of canvas you could think of by 1 get 2 free! AMAZING!

Well I did have a bit of trouble finding what I was looking for, but it was a very small 3 section. So thats on me. I was able to look down all the aisles very clear, very well spaced. Easy to navigate!

I bought a bird house and some stencils. There were paints and daubers as well. The floors were not directed, and the aisles are very narrow so it is impossible to maintain social distancing while shopping.

Staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The stores selection of yarn was a bit lacking and spread out. Instead of being in several consecutive rows, it was in the main middle aisle, two rows over, then in middle aisle bins and along back walls that werent near the other aisles. A bit like a scavenger hunt. The overall selection was much smaller than that of a Hobby Lobby or Joanns

I was pleasantly surprised when I went in to grab some yarn for a project. The aisles are clear, shelves were stocked and arranged neatly and the clerks were helpful. A great improvement over my last visit. Ill be making more trips to Michaels!

Michaels is a craft store that has moved to selling items to craft on as well (for example glassware for etching/painting)...I was not overly impressed with the staff, size of store, offerings, or price.Went in looking for cross-stitch patterns for beginners for a young girls group and none of them could really help.Went in looking for a good adolescent Paint/drawing set including canvas, again, staff was not very knowledgeable...I prefer Hobby Lobby

Well stocked nice staff when you can find them prices a bit higher so I found what I wanted went to their site and bought online at a great discount picked it up at store. Loved it.

I usually love to shop at Michaels, but I bought a calligraphy set with ink cartridges and one of them got stuck. I searched online about how to get it out. It said the only way was to pop the ink cartridges so I did. It still did not come out and now I just have ink everywhere. Again, usually I am very satisfied with what I get at michaels, but I am very disappointed. This costs me 15 dollars for something I can’t use ever again. Very disappointed!!!

Michaels has everything a crafter would want. Lots of sales and coupons as well. I always Google Michaels coupons before I go in then pull them up on my phone, show them at checkout and Im good to go!

Very great staff and are always around to help you with questions. I been shopping for the same materials online but come to find out they had everything I needed here for reborn doll projects. And I paid a little bit to much ordering certain items online.

Always find more than what Im looking for. Always seem to have some great sale that lures me in. Never felt rushed or an inconvenience. If I ever have questions, they dont hesitate to answer or find out the answer.

I only get my journals here! $5-$6 and many designs, PLUS coupons! Not to mention everything you can imagine or need for various crafts! OMG, the adult color books have thick pages,... I could go on for days! Super friendly, knowledgeable staff, and a steller selection of various products, and always a great deal going on!!!!
