Great place to eat! We were across the street sitting at the lake enjoying the view. Since we are from Ohio we were just trying to find places near by to eat at before our long drive. This was one of the first places that popped up. Checked their menu and my whole family was sold when we saw their fry selection with all the toppings. The staff was really nice and patient with our large family. They have a little play ground out side. You can eat in a screened porch area, under and pavilion style roof, upstairs, or at any table with an umbrella. They were speedy about serving us and portions were good size. The lake is right across the street and their is a running track and benches to enjoy the view. Kiddos food came on Frisbees which they all loved. Would definitely recommend!

The chili cheese fries are so good!!! Everything is made to order and cooked just right. Im not native to NY but it was a great place to stop for a quick bite during my visit. Love it!

The staff is always kind and the food is amazing! Quick in and out with great patio seating. The top patio is our favorite because it over looks the water. Very romantic.

Its definitely not how I remember it. It definitely needs an upgrade. They need more staff. I just dont feel the nostalgia of my childhood memories. I believe the pandemic has something to do with it. Hopefully, it will get back to its glory days. The ice cream was good. I was impressed with their gluten-free ice cream options. Ill definitely go back and give it a try again before summer ends.

Love Mississippi Muds. Great food and very clean resturant. Its nice to sit up on roof and see the activities happening at the river. Friendly staff and its nice to stop for ice cream after your walk down by the Niawanda River on the path, you will see ducks and enjoy the sun, boats and jet skiers.

We bike through this area at least once or twice a year and always stop here due to its great location along the Niagara River, and fast service. Burgers are offered in 1/4 and 1/2 pound, unless your old or a small kid, get the 1/2 pounders. Served on soft rolls instead of hard or multi-grain., hint hint. They also cook their burgers a little more than I care for as I prefer more medium rare. If you grind your own meat, you can generally offer that option. Otherwise very acceptable overall and plenty of condiments at the back counter. Lots of outdoor seating options, too, including the roof!

Great little waterside food shack. There is a variety of sandwiches and specialty fries. A little pricier than I would like to spend on a burger and fries, but overall, good food. They have an upstairs deck with a good view of the water and nearby area. Recommend giving it a shot for easy/fast eats

Seriously one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. Plenty of menu options for both dinner and dessert. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean with multiple employees cleaning tables regularly.

Always a pleasure to go to a buffalo staple. Foods a little pricey bit always delicious! My kids love playing on the slides, so its my go to for food when at the park.

I have tried their California Burger and the Vegan Custard that they now offer and both are awesome! They also offer the Beyond Burger and the Field Roast vegan sausage which I have not tried yet. But definitely great place for plant based options, with more choices here than any other places I know of. They have their menu online. Keep in mind, according to the sign hung up under their menu, vegan food is prepped in the same area as non -vegan food. Just a disclaimer for any strict vegans out there. I think most people understand what to expect when eating out though,

Nothing really special about this place. Its not really a restaurant nor a fast food joint, not sure what to call it. Wait! Over priced! This seasonal establishment sits across the street from the mighty Niagara river...beautiful park along the water way.The staff were friendly and service was nice. I was there today at the request of my son. See, my boy is a hot dog lover lol. So we went, first and last time. I have nothing negative to say about the place. However, the cost of 2 hot dogs(foot long) 2 regular fries and 2 drinks came to the grand total of $32 and some change.Ive been to other out door establishment, across from water ways, local as well and the cost has been about $10 cheaper. Some might argue that $10 is just $10...but to others its a bit pricey. You decide and get back to me.

Friday night and the family wanted ice cream!Great Perrys ice cream and the best of flavors is served here. There was a line but it went fast enough and we watched a great sunset taking place. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful.

Great Salemns hot dog joint and so much more. Chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, onion rings, ice cream. Very clean. Spaced out seating. Everything looked new and refreshed! After you are done eating at a table you flip a sign in for someone to clean it for the next person. Very impressed!

I bought a small hot fudge sundae with whipped cream. One scoop of hard ice cream. Virtually no hot fudge - it was like a drizzle of chocolate syrup. It was not hot, not fudge, and almost non-existent. The whipped cream was 2 little splurts, one on either side. For this I paid 8.00. I will never go there again.

This place was highly recommended, but it wasnt as great as I thought it would be. The food was very expensive for what you got. The burger was tasty, but not very big. The onion rings were okay. My friend got the root beer float and it was two thirds full. Then I went and got a twist cone and it was very expensive too. It was not very tasty. I was expecting much more and might not go back...

Everything was fantastic. We tried the corn on the cob on an impulse with our pulled pork. Amazing. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent!!! Food was very good.. Plenty of social distancing and plenty of hand sanitizer conveniently placed around the seating area, along with information on the table that it has been cleaned and sanitized after the last people sat there. And in this day of covid, Im very glad there concerned with your safety. I will go back and eat there again.

We wanted to visit somewhere today with 2 adults and 4 kids under 10 years of age. Kids meals are an okay size for ages 5 or under so only one seemed appropriate with our kids ages even though their menu allows up to 12 year olds to order off it. No way the kids meals would feed kids over 5 in my opinion. Those meals come in at $6.79 a piece including a beverage which is fair. The grand total for a casual lunch here was a whopping $89.00! For backyard burgs, dogs and two fry orders (because no meal comes with fries). Outrageous. Even worse are drink prices at over $4 a piece (I think.) Food was average fast food served up cafeteria style. I cannot think of a reason our family would drive here to dine again based on the pricing and we are NOT cheap people in the slightest. Pricing should be based on average pricing for the food/drink type but also on the volume and quality. There is something seriously lopsided with that at Mississippi Mudds.

Delicious food! Wait time is unfortunate and god forbid if you forgot to order something or want seconds. Itll be an.hour before youre back.at the register. Other than that, the food is absolutely delicious, prices are fair, environment is Uber friendly and I will definitely be returning!

Great chicken sandwich, nice view from the porch, but $54 for dinner for 3 people (1 sandwich plus fries for each.) A little pricey for a hamburger and ice cream stand!

Got the foot long based on the recommendation of someone in line and was glad I did! Shakes are delicious too and service is quick. Didnt have time for a picture since the food was that tasty I just had to eat it.

After a long day of driving in hot weather, the walk up window for ice cream caught my eye. Beautiful view of the river while I cooled off with a Banana Boat. I was happy I stopped in the moment.

Tonight was my first encounter with the “famous” MM. Unfortunately I will not be returning. Parking is horrible, bugs are flying everywhere and it took me standing 10 minutes in the ice cream line for someone to tell me that I had to go inside to order food. After finally finding my way to where one orders food I simply ordered a cheeseburger fries and a drink to the grand total of $19! FOR ONE PERSON! I don’t care how good any food is anywhere in this economy I can’t see too many people spending this kind of money let alone taking a family out for a burger. Maybe it was an indication when there was no lone at the food section yet a 10 minute wait for ice cream.

Lovely patio, a little pricey, but worth it to sit in the shade with a burger or sundae. Great service, good food lovely views.

Roof dining is great in warm weather. Lots of indoor tables too. The pulled pork was perfect try it. The sweet potato fries with honey and butter are a must for us.

Had the ice cream so good. They also offer gluten free cones, so that was a bonus for my sister. They also have vegan friendly and lactose free ice cream so if you have a specific allergy I bet they can accommodate.

Had the cajun chicken sandwich, flat as a pancake and over done, spices bad. Good roll. 8 bucks. For a good chicken sandwich and a great view try NT lumberjack instead

This has been one of my fav places ever since 1st trip 25 years ago. A must-visit EVERY trip to Buffalo! Never loved the high prices but food is good and youre paying for the great view.Was heartbroken last week to see they replaced their previously-excellent (handcut?) sweet potato fries with processed, frozen, garbage youd get from anyplace that phones it in (& theyre still charging TOP dollar for them!). Hopefully this is just a temporary shortcut because pandemic has them shorthanded??

You just can’t go wrong coming here if you’re hungry or crave ice cream. I haven’t been here in several years because we moved away from NY but it was must do a few weeks ago when we were back visiting and it didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend the marinated chicken sandwich, it was amazing. We always get cotton candy ice cream in a waffle cone and it was still perfection. We tried the sponge candy ice cream and it was alright. Sponge candy addict over here but not fantastic in ice cream. And you can’t beat the view by the lake :)

Looked at the menu on line and knew what my wife and myself wanted before we even left the house.When we got there they didnt have the Turkey club sandwich or the beef/chicken chowder. Had to pick out something else.The guy taking my order said it must have been an old menu.So why not update it? When the girl handed me my order she asked If I had already taken the seafood sandwich? I said No, I didnt take anything.She had to place another order for the seafood sandwich for my wife and my Bologna steak was getting cold while waiting for it.The Bologna was only luke warm.While sitting at a table in the parking lot there was a old used plastic utensils,salt packets and leaf debris stuffed under the table past.Not worth the trip from Williamsville.
