Went to this place to try to get something nice and healthy. Prices are insanely high for poor quality food that didn’t taste good. Tofu was inedible-it was that salty and disgusting. The man at the register was no help when I went up to say the dish was inedible. He also gave us the wrong dish for my friend and said he couldn’t do anything about it. ridiculous- never go to this place. The manager also came in when we were trying to get another dish and was unnecessarily rude to us. We had a bad experience with your food AND your customer service sucked? pick a struggle

Ordered a Shanghai Bowl and received a completely different bowl (the Sydney). Luckily I didn’t, because my aunt got the Shanghai and it was DRENCHED in soy sauce. I mean, unbearably salty it was un edible. We asked the employee for any sort of compensation and he said sorry we can’t do anything. Never coming back here again.

Roots is one of the best places to eat in the area, and the drive thru window is a huge bonus for convenience when you need it. Everything on their menu is organic and made with LOVE. The staff is so friendly and recognizes me and is so kind every time I go in. Support this local business if you are looking for healthy, wholesome foods. I craveeeee their bowls and juices! So good! Very clean and good atmosphere as well.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant hoping that we’d find a pleasant eating experience. Unfortunately, we were very wrong and underwhelmed. Food had a lot of potential but was unseasoned. We ordered the crispy kale and by the time we got back home with our food it was soggy kale. For what its worth I am sure the smoothies and juices are very good here but I do not plan on ordering food from here again

The OWNER IS RUDE!! If you ask too many questions or request too many things he is rude to you and rushes your order😏😧😧. I had to call him out one day and he apologized. I’ve bought the magnesium smoothie or the Hawaiian breeze and the food is good, however, unless the owner makes the smoothie it tastes horrible. Most of the food is over priced, but they do have a few good items. If the service improves I will go back otherwise it’s a no for me

My coworkers and I get this multiple times a week! The coffee is good, and every meal we try is amazing. I recommend chicken kabobs. And this is my favorite breakfast turkey bacon eggs Benedict.

I had the expresso cinnamon with soy milk, eggs Benedict over mushroom and asparagus as well as the chia seed dates pancakes and a healer 16oz juice. Everything was beyond delicious, nutritious, healthy as well as filling and ORGANIC!. One of the best breakfast meals Ive had in such a long time. The price is very reasonable for the portion size. It is a commute of 20 minutes but its well worth it for me. Atmosphere is delightful as well as super hygienic and clean.They are a 3 minute drive from the DMV so if you are running errands this is a great spot to stop by and they offer free WI-FI 😉

I live super close and have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Finally did a pick up order this past Sunday. 10/10!! I got a turkey club wrap with a side of hummus and my friend got the turkey veggie sandwhich. They were so delicious!! Everything tasted homemade (big plus for me), from the pickle to the chips. Hands down best kettle chips I’ve ever had. And whoever was working the drive thru window, through her two minutes of kindness toward me, really lifted my day that wasn’t so great before this lunch. Would def recommend. Can’t wait to get it again

Landed here during our vacation, as we were looking for good vegetarian fare for lunch. SOO glad we did - Food was amazing, people at the counter were warm, friendly and helpful! The place has a very open and warm feel to it.We went there as a family of four - kids had cheese quesadillas, which they loved absolutely. We also tried the falafel pita sandwich and the falafel was so fresh and tasty. I had the Worcester burger with vegan patty and it was delicious - I ate it so fast and soon I realized it was over!I also tried their Walnutccino, not impressed at all - It did not have much flavor although it sounded appealing on the menu.

Just went here for the first time and I’ll definitely be back! Friendly & kind employees. The menu has so many delicious healthy options, with the convenience of a drive thru. So hard to find a place like this..perfect for my 2 year old with food allergies. We really enjoyed our food & smoothies!

Such a good coffee shop! During this time of the post-covid economy, when local businesses are still recovering from the hardest hits, it is imperative that we support our local businesses!You get coffee here that you wont get in Starbucks or Dunkin. Or really anywhere else for that matter.Im a Starbucks and Dunkin fan, but this coffee shop offers its own unique charm 👌

This place is a GEM there is something on that menu for everyone the smoothies are fantastic everything is fresh and organic it is unbelievable my personal favorite is the Magnesium smoothie! And the best part is they have a drive-thru its a definite must try

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times already. I recently became gluten free ontop of me being vegan. I found this place on Instagram and knew I needed to try it. This place delivers. When I go for dinner I get a veggie burger with a gf bun and it is AMAZING. When I went for breakfast I got a veggie omelet with a vegan egg. Even though it was missing some veggies you cant beat that it tasted great. Will be returning many more times as the food is great if you are vegan and gluten free and need an easy option.

Amazing coffee, and excellent selection of food and smoothies! The Turkey Bacon Egg and Cheese on an english muffin was amazing.

Great friendly service and food I felt good about eating. I had egg whites, turkey bacon, cheese and veggies on an English muffin with coffee. My son had a steak and cheese omelette with hash browns, whole grain toast and fresh squeezed orange juice. A bit pricy but not surprised given that everything is organic and freshly prepared. I would definitely eat there again!

I have ordered lunch online here a few times. My food is always done at the anticipated pick up time. It is an excellent change of pace from the same eateries around here. Refreshing to see so many veggie options. The hummus wrap and air fried fries are phenomenal. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

We just got dinner from Roots. The Roots sampler is delicious. Highly recommend!!! My husband got the Sydney chicken bowl with quinoa and he loves it. My Roma bowl was also excellent. I can highly recommend the veggie burger too. My 12 year old wolfed it down so fast! And it just feels good to be eating healthy.

Love this place...outstanding food. All organic...you can just tell that the owner CARES about what you eat when visiting his establishment.

I dont know the name of the male person taking orders inside around 6pm today (Sept 19th Saturday) but as a first time customer out of town who knew nothing of the menu he was totally rude and impatient with me when trying to figure out what to eat. Instead of making suggestions on what I could mix in my bowl based on the ingredients I wanted he just gave me attitude just staring at me shaking his head and saying youre making this hard for me. Well if me asking simple questions on how this works bothers you then maybe you shouldnt be working there. Maybe its time to find another place of work. Good luck! You just lost a customer in a matter of minutes so great job!

Well done! We’ve been waiting for this place to open for a while. Great menu and fully organic. We had breakfast and the food was fresh and ingredients were authentic. Owner is on site ensuring you food is well prepared. Something for everyone with Mediterranean/Middle East influences.

Literally took one bite of the sandwich i got and it went in the garbage. Not judging everything but after that i wont be back for a while

Pathetic! 🤢 The food was tasteless! The website menu looks more appealing than in real life. Food was Dry and Bland. Salmon was overcooked. Quinoa was overcooked. Buk choy was over doused with lemon. Never again! For $15 bucks, A sliver of Salmon and bunch of Dry Rice

Tried for the first time this morning. Great local spot. Coffee was fresh, hot and tasted great. Got the eggs Benedict, hollandaise was very good and different. Would recommend. Food came out quickly and staff was very friendly. Will be back to try lunch here.

We stopped at this place the other day for lunch and were amazed by how good the food tasted, we had a burger and falafel which both were great.We really like the idea of an organic place to eat around here and all the menu items they got to offer, I must mention the staff is super friendly and quick.Welcome to our neighborhood and best of luck.

I love the menu. Each time I go in I try something new. Great place for the smoothie lover. Try the akkado! If your in to deliciousness, try the lemon shrimp salad and the chicken napoli. Just a few of the platter that i have tried so far. Im ready for my next visit. Enjoy

Very expensive, big menu lots of choices, was not impressed with my vegan burger on the gluten free bread. The vegan burger Patty fell apart and was short on taste and came with literally five chips which were over done for $12, I expect way better . The kale chips were good but not enough were given. The ginger lemonade was good.

Roots is our new favorite spot! We are soooooo happy we stumbled upon Roots by accident. In two weeks weve gone 3 times! The food is amazingly delicious and the place is very clean and well kept.The Spot: The eatery area is very clean and well lit which I love. You can also see into the kitchen and you can see how clean and organize it is. The staff is so nice and sweet! There is ample parking and its really easy to get to. They also use all eco-friendly products which is nice to see that they dont just serve organic but they also keep sustainability in mind throughout.Food: The food is incredible - my brother and mother love the chicken bowls! The veggies look fresh in this meal and the quantity is a perfect amount to fill you up and leave no wasted food. I am a vegan and have fallen in love with their variety of options. I have had their vegan yogurt parfait on the go (so yummy!), their banana walnut pancakes are vegan upon request and again so filling and flavorful, I also love their iced lattes with non-dairy milk. I also got the vegan burger with vegan cheese and I am dying to go back for another one! They have a variety of options for all and their food is fresh and made to order.I love this place! I am honestly very happy that they are in Toms River and I hope they stick around. This spot has great hours (they are basically open for every meal) so its great for a breakfast on the go or a dinner spot. Definitely stop by and have a bite and trust me youll be addicted just like us!

In a town full of Wawas and QuikChecks it is good to have a great place to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a delicious smoothie. You gotta try their banna, peanut and oats smoothie!
