I really enjoy shopping for my craft items there. I normally find exactly what I want. Last time I was there, I couldnt find an item I really needed. The cashier actually asked me, Did you find everything you wanted? Wow! That opened up the opportunity to tell her what I couldnt find. She said, Ill go get it for you. What great service! To me, thats going above and beyond. Everyone is friendly and the store was neat, clean and organized. Keep up the good work, Michaels staff!!❤

The custom frame dept at Michaels did an incredible job. Very professional and very helpful in helping me choose the perfect matting and frame for my picture. Highly recommend using them.

Who doesnt love Michaels? Seriously though, as a former employee this one is good and the employees are always nice. The one i used to work at was definitely nicer in size and selection but this one gives a decent selection and is clean.

Shelves are not as full as usual but to be expected. Had what we needed just not a full selection.

Hi I went to 8 stores in 3 towns for two days looking for Hanukkah candles. I was met with disappointment. And one woman offered me Christmas candles. 🙄 I called the Michael’s located in Toms River Nj and spoke to a wonderful girl named Wendy. She Informed me they carried Hanukkah Candles for the menorah. She even put them aside for me. Besides being super helpful she was so friendly. She saved my holiday

Michaels is nothing like it use to be. When their competitor (AC oore) was open they had sales. 40% off an item and so on; but now that they are not competing no sales. Not many sales, prices are high.

They always have fun craft items for all holidays.

The staff in the Toms River Store on Hooper Avenue are outstanding. I needed their assistance three times and they assisted me above & beyond my expectations. I found everything that I was seeking with their help. They also made my check out a very nice experience.

I like how the store is set up, its pretty easy to find everything you want.I wish there was a few more employees around to answer questions, but maybe it was because its the holidays.Masks are required, & theres line markers 6 ft apart.

Love michaels but unfortunately the manager at this location, Savana, doesn’t know how to do her job. Placed an order through the app for curbside, item was available when ordered, to have my order be cancelled and my money never refunded. When I called, savana advised that there never was a charge even though my bank account showed it! I had to actually call my bank and dispute the charge because she decided to argue with me about the charge and then hang up on me! I would have settled for a store credit plain and simple!

Michaels has a great selection of crafts for kids. I go there frequently both as a teacher and for my own kids. There always seems to be a coupon available and that draws me in. They have some inexpensive home decor as well. I always find something when I go to Michaels.

They have EVERYTHING! Im a beginner crafter and I was overwhelmed in the store. Thank god I found a sales lady. Will go back again and again!

I didnt have a receipt for some Christmas decorations I had purchased that were not working properly. I figured for sure that i was SOL! Everyone in the store was so helpful and mad my exchange process so easy! What a great crew!

Staff were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Good sales were running on several items. Bought items to make some handmade decorations for a baby shower and I was happy with the selections available.

The staff dont really know the store that well.. and you must really look for someone when you need someone. The check out area took way too long, and the manager walked away when they noticed another customer was visibly having an issue with the cashier.. wierd time to walk away just go be called back up front. Other then that. Everything was stocked and the store was clean.

I watched a MANAGER named SAM scream at an old woman when the power went out an then when my sister an I told her there was no need to be rude, she ran her mouth to us, without her mask on. Horrible experience. It wasnt until a sales employee came out to us to apologize for sams behavior that we went back in to get our stuff. Next time I wont be so nice.

They are doing a great job with the CDC guidelines. It was also very easy to pick up my online order.

Ok, ok, its time to admit that I have a problem....I am a compulsive crafter! I absolutely love Michaels and other craft stores. Since geography wins, Michaels it is....I can find everything easily, coupons make shopping affordable and the staff are amazingly helpful and outgoing!

Store just had a slight revamp. much cleaner than before. The only problem is finding what you need. There is SO MUCH in this store, if you want a specific item, it is a grind to find. Nice cashiers.

I go because I make my own cards, envelopes, boxes, etc... Never ask or need help until I check out. Everyone is always friendly. Store is clean and bright, and I dont really care that its an older store that was a former drug store. Has the products I need or my mother needs and were always satisfied.

I am a regular here at Michaels! Their supply of Happy Planner products, along with seasonal items are awesome! Love the constant coupons! And the staff there is very nice! My only complaint is that there are times I go in on my lunch break and theres a long line at the cash wrap. It sometimes take forever to get another cashier up to the register. Once that cashier gets there, the line gets cut down.

Excellent customer service. Tamara tends to be top dog when it comes to helping me with my projects however I have found the majority of Staff theyre very knowledgeable and interested in helping me whenever I need. Shelves are stocked store is clean Im in and out quickly love Michaels. I am a small business owner and Shop there often do to these positive traits.

Visited Michaels and it was very clean and the staff was nice and helpful. I had a coupon that wasnt yet active and the cashier gave me a coupon she had. It was a very nice gesture we appreciated it!

Good variety of craft-based items and more. I am not a fan of the business model they use where everything is priced very high and you must wait for sales and coupons to get it at a competitive price and my rating reflects that.When you sign up for email offers (which you pretty much have to) you can expect to get a flooded inbox with emails arriving daily.I will continue to shop here because of its proximity but if a competitor offered fair pricing without jumping through all the hoops I would easily stop shopping here. It would serve them better to offer a membership program where you pay $X/year to just get straightforward pricing all the time.

Great store if you are into arts and crafts. It has everything you would ever need. Husbands, if youre not into arts & crafts, you would be very bored! There is NOTHING else there to look at.

Went to Michaels in Brick to get parts to fix a bracelet. Absolutely no one was around to help. The cashiers told me they couldnt help. I drove to Toms River and there I found Dillon. He was wonderful helping me pick out the right items for my project. Id just like to give him a shout out for being such a good employee. It was late, he could have said he was busy....but no...he went out of his way to help me. Thank you!!!!! You are a rare find now-a-days

I was looking for craft things, they are pricey but have beautiful things.

Good place to find materials for any kind of craft project you may have in mind. They have a large selection of baking pans and decorating materials now. Make sure to look in your phone for a coupon you most likely find one. Also they have discounts for teachers and military. No much help in the floor.

Good place great sales.. Always pop in for some cute little projects to do at home or at the scouts.. Didnt know they had their own class room and host a variety of activities for kids for cheap.. And they do a great job with the projects

Placed an order for pick up at 2:30 it’s now 9:50pm store closes in 10 mins and still haven’t received any update on order that’s a bit ridiculous

Giving 4 stars because store has diverse selection of items spanning many craft or art likes as well as the holiday offerings throughout the year. Would be 5 stars if more help was offered locating items. Not visiting frequently I find myself searching for items sometimes, and rarely see someone to assist in the aisles
