I have been playing guitar for over 11 years; and this January I decided to take lessons again. I felt a desire to learn more from someone versus YouTube videos. A friend recommended that I take lessons with Chuck Stohl of Damien fame. Without a doubt one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Chucks passion for the guitar and music is so infectious that it made me fall in love with the guitar again. Plus hes an overall amazing guy to hang one-on one with. Hes also a lot of fun to go to concerts with. If you want to take guitar lessons, take them with Chuck at All Star Music!

Don and his staff are friendly, helpful and they do what they can to make sure the customer gets exactly what they need. Great place for quality pre-owned instruments at a great price.

They are more of a used school band instrument sales store. They do have new instruments but if your looking for guitars not the place. If your looking for lessons this is the place Chuck is an amazing teacher and the other teachers are great too.

My 6yr old decided he wants to play guitar. So instead of buying a new guitar we found an old one from his sister, but it had a broken E string. We took into the shop to see about fixing it and they did more than fix his string as a courtesy but also gave us so much information on classes, loaner instruments, what to look up on YouTube to get started and variety of beginner books in store. Thanks for the help guys and hopefully hell enjoy learning so we can start classes.

If you are looking for great piano and voice instructors, you’ve found the place! My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Martha Heminger for 2+ years and the level of instruction is superior! Martha always seems to know what songs are best not just for my daughter’s skill level, but also geared toward her interest level! We’ve recently added voice lessons with Isabella Weik and Wow! We were blown away with her ability to quickly develop my daughter’s voice and vocal expression with her fun and valuable lessons. Her vocal style is relevant, her coaching style puts a student at ease and her honest approach is refreshing! Isabella even pulled All Star’s amazing cello instructor, Nick, to accompany my daughter at the recent recital, with an amazing rendition of White Christmas! I couldn’t be more pleased with the instructors and the service we have had here!

I signed up for cello lessons and I picked All Star because I had received a postcard some time ago. The staff are very knowledgeable and the cello looks like new. I met my teacher and am very excited to start lessons and my husband will take guitar lessons at the same time. Great place.

My daughter takes violin lessons from Nick Kelly at All Star Music. She has been very happy with lessons and has learned a lot. Nick is a positive and engaging teacher, who works well with grade school and jr. high age students. He also really knows his stuff musically, and is an outstanding musician in his own right. I would highly recommend parents in the Toledo and Maumee School Districts for music lessons with Nick at All Star.

Paid twenty dollars to have my guitar restrung. As soon as I get it back, I go to tune it and the string snaps. The strings were restrung way too short and were not secured to the tuning peg. Very frustratedAll star replaced the E string for free, refunded me the price of strings and offered my next restring there for free. Thankful they corrected the error and partially reimbursed me even for the hassle.

Donny was super helpful when getting a case and strap for my 4-year-olds Fender. Fair prices, great suggestions, and nice local place. Quick service - I called to inquire about a strap for a child and he had it ready for me when I arrived. Will definitely be back!

I wish this place well. Nicer people are hard to find

I dropped off my cello on Monday 1/2 to get restrung and tuned. I was told it would take a couple days and cost under $50. I received a missed call a couple days later with no voicemail left. I called back (with no idea who I was calling) and it turned out to be All Star Music. They had called to let me know restringing my cello would be about $70 and they wondered if it was okay to proceed. I agreed and was told my instrument would be done in another few days. On Wednesday of the following week I called them wondering what was going on with my instrument. I was told the repairman had been out and my cello could be picked up on Friday (1/13). No one had notified me there would be a delay on the simple task. When I arrived on Saturday morning they had just started on restringing my cello. I was told to come back in 20 minutes. When I returned they explained that a small part had broken on my cello and they repaired it. I was charged $115 for RESTRINGING my cello and replacing the fine tuner adjuster. The strings were not completely correctly wound around the pegs and the cello was not tuned as I had asked them to do. The cello was so out of tune in fact that I know they didnt even attempt to tune more than the A string.If they were going to take two full business weeks to restring my instrument I think they could have been professional and at least called me to explain instead of leaving me wondering. If they did not have the ability to do this simple task well, they should have made me aware of that when I first inquired before bringing my instrument in.

I recently went in to sell two of my Violas 1 in which I was sure I would not get much for it,however the second I knew that it was worth a whole lot more than what was offered I had done my research by when I got into the store and the salesman started talking I felt uneasy about my findings and the price I thought I should get long story short.He gave me 20 bucks for both violas in which 1 was worth well over $500.00.ABSOLUTELY NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE
