I was amazed at how good the prices were here. They have a tremendous selection of video games, CDS, DVDS, records, vintage audio, and just all around cool collectibles. Worth the trip!

Heres my experience; if your selling they low ball the seller, I had 14 CDS & 4 cassettes & they offered $12, thats a buck 1/2 ea. Needless to say I packed my belongings & left & wont be going back!

It was nice to find a record store that still exists physically. The location is quite easy to get to and the parking is adequate. There are hundreds of records, tapes, videos, games, and hardware to browse. The staff was friendly and paid attention to my needs. I will plan to shop their in the future when considering music and video.

I was in my happy place in the store. I loved the turntables and the service. The two guys there were extremely professional and made me feel welcome. Additionally, I saw the coolest thing while there. I saw this little girl feeling comfortable and checking out this guitar. It stopped me in my tracks, it was so cool. I asked her (and her Dad, I think) if I could get a photo of this to post!

Without a doubt, this is a fantastic record shop. Absolutely superb selection of alternative, psyche, punk, folk, jazz, etc. with a musically erudite, and enthusiastic, staff. From used vinyl to reissues, this place has both for the avid record collector. Went here a few weeks ago and was not disappointed. I was not only astounded at their variety, but also at their remarkable prices. I could tell these guys price their records with scrutiny and fairness based off of record condition, length, and rarity. More importantly, they don’t try and rip consumers off like other stores are inclined to do. With a wide, varied collection, knowledgeable and amicable staff, and impeccable prices, this store is a consummate 5/5 for me. Do yourself a favor and visit this store.

Great selection of music and a very helpful staff! This is my go-to record store and I always enjoy shopping here. Only issue I have is that a record I bought new seemed to have a scratch on it, Id hope with the cost that theyd be in better condition.

Got a PS1 here in great condition super cheap. They also get in games that I havent seen in years. I love to come in and browse around.

Overpriced and not very friendly..

Went in at 2pm on 4/21/21.. not a single employee even said hello or any words at all to me. They want 15 an 16$ for any normal cd. Like dr dre’s chronic from the 90’s, paid 12.99 at most originally and these profiteers probably gave someone 2$ at most for trading it in. Not worth the trip for me, cheaper to use itunes and forego physical copies.

I never feel bad spending money at this store. A gem in the area with the nicest people i’ve ever had the pleasure of talking to.

Great unlike replay on Laskey.. they did NOT keep me waiting for service and they were able to help me..at the other store they left me standing without helping for more than 10 mins and still couldnt help me on a simple game resurfacing........THANKS ALLIED!!! it my favorite game.

They have all kinds of CDs and records. Ive been looking for a place to buy gospel CDs and the places Ive been didnt have any or was closed.

Not a huge bluray or 4k selection. But, they are more of a record store and they have plenty of those.

What I had to take into Allied record was I guess too old and messed up for them to take to sell them but theyve got a lot of how old used stereo system components Ill be going back hopefully itll be there the Iowa speaker system in a JVC receiver combination receiver amplifier

Really great place. They have lots of great selections for Vinyl, Video Games, DVD and CBS. Staff was very helpful and nice. And prices are reasonable for used Vinyl. Picked up 5 vinyl and 2 DVDs for less than $40.( That also depends what you choose)

Cool eclectic shop. The staff is super friendly. No public restroom is a little bit of a bummer. Lots of options if you are looking for a hidden gem. Could you find better prices, yes. But youd have to look. You will find something cool here.

They have the biggest, pristine record collection for sale that I have seen. Yes...Ive seen selections bigger at some of the antique superstores, but these are non-scratched versions of records you want...not 80 copies of Classical Hits that smell like a wet basement. Oh...and they have used games/Blu-Ray movies. Very cool 😎!

I absolutely love this place. I haven’t been there in quite a while because of rona but every time I’ve been there I’ve found something very nice. I’ve gotten all kinds of neat things from NES games to posters. Very nice place and would highly recommend.

Great variety of items available for purchase from 8tracks,records, cds, dvd, gaming systems, and equipment. Im giving four stars because I felt shorted on the amount that I was given for the items I had brought in as they were rare and in great condition. They will make what they gave me (at least) for everything on the nes alone. Too much hassle to try and load everything up and try to get more at other shops so I took the slightly insulting offer.

Its the only place to by real heavy metal music.

Ive been going to Allied for years I love it there the employees are always very helpful and nice and sometimes you can find some really cool stuff there! If you are into retro game systems and old VHS tapes they are the spot to go I highly recommend this place!

Pretty much your typical independent music store. First time visit, staff was helpful. I snagged a nice dual tape deck in mint condition for $55.

They have decent stuff in there but could be better. Duplicates of everything. Ok prices.

I went to sell my DVD collection (since I dont own a TV anymore - by choice!), and they bought almost all of them! I got cash for them, but would have gotten an extra $20 if I chose store credit. I looked around while they were looking at my collection and they have so many DVDs, CDs, records, video games, game consoles and more! If I ever needed to buy one of these things this is definitely the first place that I would go. Highly recommended rather than purchasing new.

Best priced resale store in the area. My son called to see if they had a video game. Not only did they have it. It was $20 cheaper than anywhere else and they held it for him. Great customer service.

Bought a 5 CD player there and was told it worked well. It did not work at all. I tried many different CDs with no luck. Had some other good albums.

Cool place. Prices are a bit high for vinyl. Music playing over the store speakers was awful and Im pretty open to just about any music. It was borderline un-listenable.

Ill start off with the positive. The selections and the music that is played inside the store are great! Plus, the store always smells good! However, ever since Ive been going there (a few years ago), the employees seem to be nice to everyone but me.When they act like theyre nice, its a fake nice. This is especially true of my last visit on June 15, 2018. When I bought a cd, the guy kind of counted my change back to me but it was all non verbal. Also, the guy actually ended up overcharging me and I had to come back and get the correct change. But, Im still not sure if I got all my money back because of the tax on it. Overall, I actually love this store but the employees dont make me feel welcome so Im not sure if Ill ever walk foot in this location again.

Cheap CDs, decent amount of video games and helpful employees. Game rotation seems pretty stagnant so youll see the same ones each visit, prices are at or above retail. Place smells great if you like incense. Vinyl, record players, DVDs, blue Rays, game systems, accessories etc. Owner is a nice guy, pretty straightforward. Had a nice exchange of my old CDs and DVDs.

They had a VCR and it was $35. I hit the jackpot and it made my project not expensive.
