Im very happy to find a place like this in Toledo. they have hot and cold prepared food ( just about everything middle eastern you can think of), sweets and other groceries. The cashier gave me some free samples of the hot food, they were delicious. Bakery items were pretty good, not amazing but for a place like Toledo: very good... However some of the items are considerably Expensive compared to Dearborn & metro Detroit..i would come here all the time if i lived in Toledo!!

Always a wonderful experience at Tiger Bakery!Today it was sandwich and 2 sides, and apple baklava and Im just overjoyed with how delicious it always is.The apple baklava is amazing and also the first time Ive ever heard of it!The staff are always sweet and helpful.If you havent been here, youre missing out on more than just a good meal.

My husband and I went there today and the lady was very patient and helped us find exactly what we wanted. She even let us try samples. As we had never been there and wasnt sure what we would want, we took our time looking at EVERYTHING. They have a nice market and you can even buy fresh cheaply priced spices. The food was so amazing and all of it was very fresh! I loved the fresh pita chips. Thank you Tiger bakery and deli.

This place has honest, price-worthy, very delicious food. I tried another Mediterranean place in the area and the schwarma wrap was so bad I came here to buy hummus to put on my leftovers. I wish I went here first.Their options are plentiful and very decently priced. You can tell the food is made homemade and prepared with experience and love.Their flavored Pita chips are to die for! And you better believe they use arab magic in the regular hummus. Only three ingredients, and it tastes so good!!!

Best lunch spot in town.If you are looking for a crash course in Mediterranean cuisine, this is the place for you. The staff is incredibly helpful and will allow you to sample the great variety of dishes. But in all honesty, I pick at random, without sampling, because I know Ill be coming back next week to try what I have not.Be sure to finish your meal with Turkish coffee and a slice of baklava or kunafa. The freshly baked kunafa brought me back to the shores of Haifa where everyone seems to have an opinion of where to find the best kunafa in town. Little do they know, there is a bakery in Toledo, Ohio that could compete with the best of them.

Very friendly people and clean environment. I ordered the chicken shawarma which was super good. I also had the turmeric fries which arent really fries but more potatoes cubes. I would also suggest asking for light turmeric seasoning blend because mine had so much on it, I had to wipe half of it off. But the food was really really good and fresh.

Ive been coming here since childhood and the food has never been bad. Everything is good and the quality is spot on. Theres also a small grocery store there so you can purchase odds and ends that might be hard to find in other places. This is one of Toledos best kept secrets.

Tiger Bakery is a wonderful place to dine in or take out. Many different options for lunch. Staff is ever so friendly and I come here often to get food to go on my lunch hour. They offer samples for you to try something if you have never had something before. When you order, there may be a line up (as there usually is) but, you will be treated with the same respect and kindness as everyone else.

Food was cold NOT lukewarm but cold. Soup and sandwich both. Here is a tip people eat soup with a spoon, the least you can do is provide one to go with your ice cold lentil soup.

GEM! Tiger bakery has been around since I was a kid and it is a gem. I moved away and recently came back to Toledo to visit family. I had to make a trip here while home and it did not disappoint. Try the spinach and meat pies, they are amazing!

This is the hidden gem of Toledo! The family that runs the bakery/deli are the nicest most welcoming people you could ever meet! The food is absolutely amazing. Whether you are getting deli to go or eating from their hot food bar there, you will thrilled with how delicious and well priced everything is. It is all homemade and there is a huge variety. If you are gonna Netflix and chill stop at the Tiger Bakery first for some amazing take out!!!

Visiting Tiger Bakery & Deli was probably one of the best experiences of my life. Im from out of town, was spending a week in Toledo for work, and was trying to find a local Mediterranean restaurants to grab lunch from. Walking in, I received the warmest, friendliest of welcomes. I mentioned to Ahmad that it was my first time to the shop, as I was from out of town. He very enthusiastically suggested that I should try samples of anything I wanted, and each and every sample I tried was incredible. By the time I purchased my lunch and headed out, I already had a full stomach from all the incredible food I was able to try. Thank you to Ahmad and the fellow staff for such a wonderful experience, I look forward to stopping by every time Im in the area!

I can not speak to the quality of food or service at the restaurant however while visiting the Toledo Hospital this afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised with their prepared foods provided to the hospital cafe.In particular is their rice pudding. It is insane how good a rice pudding they have prepared. This dessert is a favorite of mine but I never thought anything could be so palatable. How could anything have such a wonderful bouquet as this rice pudding from Tiger Bakery?Rice, milk, sugar,...wait for it...and orange blossom water!Chanel No. 5 comes to mind!!

One of my favorite places to eat in Toledo. The food is always delicious. There are tons of options for both omnivores and vegetarians. Also, there is a certain charm coming from the workers. I dont know the story for all of them but I know at least some of them are related and it really shows through a warm and welcoming environment. Whenever I come back into town from trips elsewhere the first thing I do is have a meal at Tiger Bakery!

This is some of the best Mediterranean food in Toledo, and some of the kindest people as well. Tiger Bakery is a wonderful place for a quick lunch or, if you prefer takeout, an event or family gathering.I could eat the shawarma, kefta, and grape leaves every single day (Im not exaggerating.) And Ive been exposed to so many new and delicious dishes here, theres always something new to try.Make sure to grab some baklava or Turkish Delight on the way out!

Worst experience EVER!! Separate orders all together in same containers. Hommus without pita or veggies. Fatoosh had no sumac seasoning or pita chips and was swimming in oil and water. ZERO NAPKINS OR PLASTIC WARE. And to top it off the items are listed with different prices on different delivery sites. So completely disgusted. We will not be ordering from here again.

Good selection good food

This place is alright, except for the fact, that they way the food as they make it, when they clean the hummus machine that spray the machine with a hose and the water smells horrible. Smells unsanitary. They way their clothes there. I used to work for Abdullah the manager, a few months ago, I was going through some medical problems family wise, he told me take the week off I did I called back he always acted like he was busy. I walked in there, he ran to the office acted like he was busy, when he wasnt I STILL TILL THIS DAY HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY LAST PAYCHECK. He refuses to give it to me. Ive actually cut myself a few times they told me to continue working (I refused). This lady named misty threatened me he let it slide. So yea unless you want ripped off I suggest just eating there. And my Aunt who is a lawyer said they cant do that! So I will be consulting a lawyer. Because he is not giving me my last check!!! And I know some PRETTY POWERFULpeople WHO WILL GET THAT PLACED SHUT DOWN if I have to. All I want is my MONEY.

Love their food! The Chicken Shawarma, Hummus, Kibbie, and Fatoush Salad are all my favorites! The Kibbie is meat and in my opinion look like little shaped footballs. So good! Try this place at least once, you just might like it!!!

I thought the food was overpriced and didnt even taste good. For example, I ordered hummus for dine in and they didnt include bread, just asked if I wanted a spoon. I ordered shawarma, and it was pretty cut meat that was refrigerated and just gave me lettuce, unseasoned onions and tahini sauce. Thats it. The meat was extremely chewy and bland. It was hands down the worst shawarma Ive ever ordered anywhere. No service, you just sit down yourself and no one comes to your table.

Food and service never disappoints, generous lunch special portions. As a 20-year patron of both locations, about once a month I pick up the same 4-5 items each time, to be enjoyed over a couple of days: Fatoosh, 2 pounds meat grape leaves, fatayers, hommus, bag of pita. And we have *finally* convinced a stuck-in-pizza-and-hot-dogs mode young teen how a Fatayer is like a Mediterranean hamburger. She tried one, and is hooked (now I buy at least 6 each trip, yay!) :)
