For those that didnt know this place sells bus tickets that can take you to Texas. My grandmother comes every year to visit she takes the bus in Texas and gets dropped of at this place. The bus its called Tornado, if you have family that doesnt like to fly or dont want to drive when traveling this is a good way to travel. Im pretty sure there are more places this bus travels. For more info I would contact the store for prices and locations.

They have the best flour tortillas you can buy in the city. Owned and operated by the same family for over 20 years. Their always helpful and polite. Great store

First time visit. If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place. I got 3 tacos with rice, absolutely delicious. Actually 3 tacos were more than I could eat but I did it and topped it off with a Mexican coke. The tacos were so full of ingredients and very tasty. We will be going back!

We used to go here all the time until we got 2 packs of tortillas with mold on them. We tried returning the molded tortillas and were told that they wont take them back. Sorry guys, if you cant part with $2 to make correct something thst you screwed up to begin with, then we cant justify coming in there every week for tortillas and tamales. Amazes me that anyplace that remotely cares about their customers would conduct business that way. We go to La Palomas now instead. So do are friends.

The family that owns this place is so very nice and they make you feel like you are family. The food is so delicious real authentic mexican food.

This is one of Toledos best kept secrets. Authentic Mexican food made fresh to order at the lowest price in town. Their lengua and barbacoa are amazing. This is a small, family owned and operated business that doesnt try to be anything cool or new. They simply serve their community the best tacos, burritos, tortas, menudo, etc. The place is tiny so dont try to have a party there, but that is ok with me since anyone judging the quality of a restaurant or grocery on the ability to get drunk on margaritas and dance is confused anyway.So if you are looking to try some new Mexican food in the Toledo area and you havent checked out The Mexican Store, then I recommend that you do.
