Some good healthy choices, but at a premium price. They still sell items with hydrogenated soybean oil, one of the most unhealthy ingredients still allowed in food. So this store is not really a health food store.

Fresh Thyme is such a cute store and when I can’t make it to Ann Arbor, this is my spot for healthy, organic food, great produce and fresh juices. They have lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options and the prices are reasonable! I have also been able to find hard to locate items like pulled Jackfruit for tacos!

Very clean and well organized store. The fresh meat and produce all looked excellent, and the packaged offerings all looked good too. Prices felt a little higher than I am used to at bigger chain stores, but decided to purchase a few things from the fresh meat case anyway. Overall its a quiet, quality, shopping market with easy highway access and amoel parking. Worth a visit if you are in need if high quality, fresh ingredients Im liking for an alternative to large chain grocery stores.

Im the kind of guy who takes great delight in posting 5 star reviews of businesses because I like to recognize hard work and excellence. Sadly, I cannot give Fresh Thyme a good review and this decision did not come easily. I came in on an ad that was posted buy one/get one. At the register, I was informed that it was only for one item, not all of the same items. So, I asked to speak with a manger, who was polite and did his best to cover. It was apparent that this was a corporate program/decision and not his, so I thanked him and left. I pointed out on my receipt that the store was clearly not even honoring the advertised special on ONE item... and all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. So, I sent a polite email to Corporate. No response. Called their customer line and left two messages with all of my contact info and requested a call back. During this entire situation, I have been polite and courteous. It has been almost 4 weeks and nobody has thought enough of my request to respond. Fresh Thyme is a nice store, but we are blessed that Toledo has several very good grocery and health food stores that I can go to. We all make mistakes... I sure do and I understand. As long as someone shows a passing interest in addressing or correcting a situation, I can give him or her credit for trying. These folks clearly dont give a darn...and have seen my last dollar.

I am fighting with myself if I should even post this. I normally love going here after because of how clean the store is and friendly the employees are but today was an embarrassment that is leaving me not knowing if I’ll even come back. I just got off work so I’m mildly/pretty dirty because of the weather and I just wanted to run in to grab some chicken to make an easy dinner tonight. The employee who checked me out was the typical friendly to the customer in front of me talking to them but when o tried to talk to them they refused to even look at me or acknowledge I excised. They asked me if I wanted the receipt as she was already balling it up to throw it away. This has rubbed me the wrong way and honestly I’m torn whether I’m coming back here or not just because I feel like as a customer I had no value because of the way I looked.

I went here for the first time the other day and saw on the menu they had award winning ribs and ordered them. ribs were unreal dry(so dry im going out of my way to leave a comment/review. my girlfriend ordered the brisket and was also extremely dry. i was under the impression this food was freshly made and not just under a heat lamp all day. very disappointing to spend 70$ for two ppl to eat here. great waitress tho.

Went there yesterday for first time. Had to say I was incredibly impressed. Team members were awesome and selection of good choices was awesome.

This was my first choice of places to shop however today I purchased 3 lb of bacon from the meat counter I thought it was a little strange that it was kind of fast and they were single packages but I wasnt really paying attention. So I looked when I got home he very deceptively sold me old packaged bacon two of them were packaged on November 21st the third one was package today at noon I wasnt in the store until 3:30. While on the phone with the manager he said theyre allowed to do that up to 3 days old but its not the standard practice. Please, I dont even want to know what they do with the other meats. They probably all do that though, so I will be paying attention and asking from now on

Staff is always knowledgeable when I ask a question. Theres a great variety of products you wouldnt typically find elsewhere. Im a little sad they no longer carry blk water but Claudias still does. I enjoy the atmosphere and being able to pick fresh high quality organic produce. Fresh thyme is helping me so much to reach my personal nutritional goals. Im enjoying how much money I am saving while also improving my health!

Refreshing ! The place was clean. People doing stock but not blocking the isles, not even empty packages on the floor ! The shelves are full. The vegetables are fresh and passed my wifes inspection. No loud music or sales talk on the PA system ! Fresh Thyme has fixed what the big chain stores have done wrong for a long time. The staff is very professional and efficient. They would have gotten five stars but the prices are a little high on some items, but the atmosphere is worth every penny. I will definitely be back !

People of Color BUY vitamins too and dont need an employee standing over us to babysit. We can come in a store and make a purchase while withholding the urge to pocket something for free....(sarcasm)

It was our first visit and we were pleasently surprised. We will go back again! Lots of organics, if you are into that. Sale items and specials in every department. Many of the items we looked at were priced in line with what we pay at our large box grocery store. If you live out of town dont forget to put a cooler in your vehicle, or you will be sorry.

I live in south Toledo so I forget to stop here. They have nice sales. Meat section nice Becouse they are portions for 1 or 2 so price good. It is worth stopping here to check out. Open till 10pm which is nice too. Employees very friendly.

I love this shopping experience! The market is very clean and the staff is beyond friendly. We love the gourmet coffee they offer and I get caught up at the delicious olive bar! They have the best options for organic and fresh ingredients. Stop in get your little one a piece of fruit on the house and get shopping.

Over priced, cold and unwelcoming environment. IF YOU’RE A PERSON OF COLOR, ANY COLOR OTHER THAN WHITE, EVEN PURPLE, DO NOT GO! You can feel it at the door your not welcomed! I’ve lived in the south most my life and I thought this type of treatment was only found deep in the country, but I was proven otherwise recently. From an HR perspective the employees lack sensitivity and acceptance to other cultures and races. They are definitely in need of CULTURAL SENSITIVITY TRAINING. Please managers look into this if you want your store to be successful. That said, I’m not really sure why this store has such raving reviews. You’d think since it’s a smaller chain store they’d be more warmer to customers but they are the complete opposite. The selection of food isn’t much, and they call themselves organic but the ingredients in most of their food items would say otherwise! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Great place to shop, fresh everything; bacon, chicken, pork ribs, beef, fish, olive oils, coffee beans, a large variety of nuts, homemade soups, bread, sandwiches, pizzas, vegetables, fresh herbs, salad bar, peppers and fruits, etc. all reasonably priced. You can shop for groceries or stop in for lunch. You can get a fresh homemade lunch for around $7 bucks; soup salad, & a sandwich. They have it all, its truly an unbelievable store. One of my favorite places to shop in Toledo. If your in the area you have to stop in. Check your local sales add or check your phone for great weekly sales.

I really like this place. Best specialty market in Toledo and very well priced. Surely they are higher in price than big box retailers but I much prefer this place. Lookout for their sales, because they help make your wallet a little fatter walking out of there. Their meat and produce are both of really high quality and worth the price. Staff is usually pretty helpful and never gave me any problems.

It has a great variety of fruits, vegetables, sweets, and other produce. And all at a pretty good price. Every time Ive went Ive picked up a phone crochet bag of food and spent less than $20. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Wow. There is not enough words to describe this store. If your into fresh, healthy foods and supplements then you have found your Disney Land of stores. Its far for me to commute but well worth it! Of course it is a bit pricey on some items but you are going there for your health!

I love that this store sell a variety of products. From vitamins supplement (like the kind you can buy at a Health food store) to organic hair, body and household products. The salad bar is phenomenal, and deli department is to die for. They sell fresh made pizza, and sandwiches to take home or eat there. They also have prepackaged dinners and dessert all made fresh. Did i forget to mention the fresh juice and juice blends they squeeze fresh everyday. There is so much to love about this store. Why not find out for yourself.

I had my kiddos with me and they were able to eat fresh fruit throughout the store. If they found the tractor that was placed somewhere in the store, they were able to tell the cashier and receive a special treat. We all LOVED it! Awesome selection of organic goods and fresh fruits and veggies.

Thus has quickly grown to be one of my absolute favorite places to go grocery shopping. They offer a wide variety of fresh and healthy food. I havent tried it yet but you can get fresh made deli sandwiches, salads, and pizza by the slice! They even have a setting area with a microwave to warm up the cold entrees they offer, so you can grab a drink and some dessert and have a meal before you do your shopping.
