I just got back from my first evening gaming here and it was awesome. Great selection of tabletop gaming supplies, super helpful staff, and a lively crowd to game with. Ill definitely be back.

Do not sell your Pokemon cards to this card shop!!! I just took over 1,500 old pokemon cards there to try and sell from base set unlimited, base set, fossil, jungle, team rocket, gym challenge, etc.... Some were holos, some 1st editions, and they SERIOUSLY offered me $20 to buy my entire collection. They are the Game Stop of the Card Shop Community!!

Found the perfect Christmas gift there and returned to buy very pretty dice to play a new game with family.

Soo many cool games not found in your local box store. Will only go here for games from now on. The staff has basically played all the games they sell, so they can help with purchasing gifts for others, including younger kids. Go here!

Don’t go this place. There is this guy named coal over there, he is so fake, I went in there one time and asked if they bought Pokémon cards, he told me they did not sell Pokémon cards. I went in there again because my school is right next to there looking to buy some Pokémon cards. I have spent more than 200$ in there. A guy comes I in there with Pokémon cards and asks if they buy Pokémon cards he told him yes because I think is a casual customer. I went out of that place mad because he told the guy they Pokémon cards, I am never going there again he never seems to have answer for the questions I ask, I am not asking for an arm and a leg I was asking normal questions and he seems to be annoyed any time I say something. You guys lost my future business.

Had a great time in the store for my first time. Talked w the guy behind the counter for like an hour about qbout everything from covid to games workshop prices to painting to all out nerdom. Would be in more but not from the area

Ive been going to this store for a couple years now for both MTG and Pokemon products and I have never had a bad experience. The staff are ridiculously nice and the store is always clean.

I just started going here not too long ago and I will say I was impressed with their selection and prices. Started collecting pokemon cards with my daughter and we have bought packs and singles from here.The staff is also very nice and helpful also.

Pretty chill enviroment and a welcoming place to play strategy and board games for free even. They sell all the tools to paint your own figurines and game pieces. Im not a novice of these kind of games; but I can see myself coming here again sometime to start a new hobby.

Second time here. Store is very well organized. Nice selection of items as well. Was buying paint on this trip. Had a great selection of that. My only knock was nobody greeted me until I hit the counter. But I will give then a pass as they were very busy with what I believe was a lot of Magic players. Definitely will visit again.

Great selection of games and gaming suppies. This bright and open space is a welcome change from the back alley game shop. My wife and I stopped in to buy a set of dice to commemorate our trip to Detroit this past weekend.

The location is always clean. The staff is friendly, and the prices are fair. The staff has been willing to help me find items multiple times, and they always offer to help whenever I come in no matter who is working. Would heartily recommend.

Love this place. Have never had a bad experience out here for the past year now. Owner is super fun and plays games with patrons sometimes. Store has wide variety of board games that people will love, all the trading cards you could ever need, and events EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Also if youre a DnD player they have a great group that meets up out there every other Tuesday. Overall, no matter what you enjoy playing, this place has something for everyone whether they know it or not.

Stopped by to kill some time while visiting a friend in town. Great selection of games, cards and a super sleek and clean gaming area. Staff on hand were friendly and greeted me upon entering. They also answered a couple minor questions I had. Would reccomend to any gamer.Love the name of the shop too!

Im a big fan of board gaming, but I dont typically visit board game shops. I have been to all of the shops around Toledo at least once though, and I can say with certainty that this one is the best. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating, the board game selection is good (not huge, but definitely adequate), and their prices are pretty good as well. Theyre the only local place that charges less than full MSRP, and they list their entire inventory on their website as well, which is extremely helpful when Im looking to buy something specific.Like I said, I dont visit board game shops often, but when I do, this is my store of choice.

Actual face to face gaming goes on here. Board games, card games, miniatures. Everything you need to have a great day of gaming. They even have open boxed games that you can come in, try and and see if you like it. They have weekly events that you can attend and meet other table top gamers. Highly recommend!

Nice selection of games. Its been awhile since our last visit and it seems like they have a lot more inventory then our last visit. Store is very clean and is a nice friendly environment to play games at. Prices are fair.

Staff was incredibly helpful and considerate. Store is neatly laid out. Prices can be a bit high, but nothing out of the ordinary considering the costs of the items theyre selling.

Good game store. Knowledgeable employees. I would love to hang out and play games sometime, but Ive never been there when the other customers are receptive to playing a game with someone they dont know. It could be just that most gamers are introverts.

I GM here on a biweekly basis and drink too much diet soda. Despite my players best efforts, its usually a good time.

Great prices and discounts. Game night on Thursdays is always a blast. Demo games available to play if you dont have your own or want to try something new. Owner is also a blast and is always trying to help everyone out.

Well setup and while they dont have a lot of space they make up for it in product and presentation. The store is clean and well kept. Owner as well as employees are knowledgeable of their products and offer some decent rewards/cashback stuff that makes shopping a pleasant time.

OSG is a great game store. I would give it 5 stars except one thing..The last time I walked into the store I was hit by just a wave of, um, body odor. I hope it was just one smelly person and it hasnt just absorbed into the store itself. I hadnt been in the store a while and the last time I was there it wasnt like that. I would be embarrassed to bring friends into a place that smells that way all the time. Other than that I really like the store and your guys webpage is great, Im on it all the time checking out whats new. Plus your store credit policy is great!

Drove by this place at least a dozen times while in Toledo... I finally stopped in and it was really cool. Not only do they sell cards and games, but they hosted what looked like a Magic tournament as well.

I work at Old School Gaming but before that I was just a regular customer. Its the only place I go to play magic the gathering, board games and other card games as well. Everyone is always very friendly and willing to help out if you have any questions. Check us out on Facebook and see what events we have going on. Mondays and wedsndays are modern for magic the gathering at 7pm.Every other Tuesday is DnD adventure league, stop in for info on that. Thursdays are boardgamenight, people usually show up around 5pm, come in and play all the board games you want, meet people and learn some new games for free. Friday is magic the gathering draft at 6:30. Come visit us anytime, theres always something for someone.

A bit over a week ago I went to this store during its posted business hours and it was closed without any noticed.When compared with other local gaming stores this store also has far less variety when it comes to Roleplay systems.Ive also left several flyer/ads here, with permission of the staff, to find a gaming group and by my next visit they have disappeared yet ads have remained. This is their store and they can do what they want with it but Id personally rather stick with a store that helpful and supportive of its customers finding others to game with. That being said Ill no longer be shopping at this store and sticking with the other local gaming stores, Checkmate and Toledo Game Room, for my gaming needs.I posted a similar review on Facebook and received a comment from someone claiming to be the store owner which I understood to mean that I did not having permission to use their intellectual property, which I assume is the store name, in my posting. At the time of this post to Google the Facebook reviews of this store have been disabled. All of this has convinced me that it would be best if I simply dont returning to this store ever.
