Holey Toledough, great donuts and a food pun, thats all you need. There are so many unique flavors of donuts. I asked what are the most popular, they told me the maple bacon and pecan French toast. The French toast was so great, soft and fluffy with a great glaze on top.They are a little out of the way, if they relocate they probably could do better. The area they are in does seem rundown but its worth a visit.

Better when they first opened. Quality went down a bit. Fillings are skimpy. Usually get doughnuts for co-workers and they werent impressed :( a year ago I took these doughnuts to my job and everyone loved them. Not so much now. Went from a 5 to average. Taste is alright just not as good of quality as before.

The donuts and coffee was awesome. Each donut costs around $2.50, but they are well worth it. We got a four pack: one vanilla bean, two chocolate with sprinkles, and one maple bacon; there are as good as they look. There was no line. They were friendly and quick. The place was clean. The donuts were fresh. They have a Simpsons, outer space thing going on. They are well worth the trip, if you are in the area. I am not local, but this place has to be a local stop. Great job!

Holey Toledough has been my favorite doughnut place since 2015! I got the rest of my family hooked. So when my sister suggested doughnuts from our favorite place be involved...I couldnt say no! It was my first time working with the catering side of things and everyone was helpful. They even delivered! Thank you for making my sisters special day even better!

Okay wow! I was visiting Toledo and it was suggested to go here. The maple bacon doughnut is freaking amazing! Second is the pecan french toast! You can order online or walk in. The girls working there are also very helpful. The place is very clean as well! Next time I want to try the milk and ice cream available!

Tried it for the first time today! We accidentally came in after they closed (even though theres a huge sign on the door that says 7am to 12.... Sorry! ). They were really nice and didnt say anything. Well be back. Really good doughnuts. Very fresh. Best doughnut Ive had in a minute.

This place is a great change of place. The doughnuts are great. We had the maple bacon, birthday cake, cinnamon and sugar, chocolate glade sprinkle ... All of which are the best I have ever had. The were our of maple bacon and heard me ask for it and made me one special. that is customer service right there! We split all the flavors in my family so everyone can try some. people might complain about the price but remember this is a persons dream not a franchise or corporation. yes you can get cheaper somewhere else but the quality and the heart and souls of the ones that run this place... this is the dream... i will stop regularly its on my way to work. cant wait to try the other kinds!

Love that you can order donuts ahead of time for pick up and curbside delivery. The maple bacon is delicious and the specialty donuts are always fun to try with amazing flavor combinations. The Cinnamon Bunn Cronut with cream cheese frosting was AMAZING!

My 2 daughters introduced me to these AMAZING DOUGHNUTS. So when it became time to plan my Moms funeral luncheon. We needed to include Holey Toledough doughnuts. My Mom loved doughnuts more than anything. I ordered 5 BFD ( BIG FREAKIN DOUGHNUT). The family went WILD over the maple bacon, but my favorite is the pecan french toast. We had an extra maple bacon BFD. Our parents raised us right, we gave it to the staff at Shortys back Forty whom prepared our meal. They LOVED it!Holey Toledough doughnuts is a must at all our family events from now on.

Amazing Donuts! They have all the delicious and creative flavors you could want but the actual donut base is one of the best Ive ever had. The Vanilla Bean Glazed is the absolute most perfect glazed donut. Ill be back!

The best donut business in Tolexo finally opened up a retail store so we had to go and it did not disappoint! Our first trip there had using choosing the samoa, maple bacon and lemon-poppyseed blueberry donuts. The maple bacon had a good maple glaze topped with a generous amount of real crumbled bacon. The samoa had carmel icing topped with toasted coconut and a chocolate drizzle. Just like the famous cookie! The lemon-poppyseed was just as amazing with a tart lemon-poppyseed glaze over a blueberry donut. And the donut had fresh blueberries baked into it! My only complaint was that the blueberry donut was smaller than the rest (and of course it was my favorite, lol!). On our second trip, we took advantage of the limited edition black hole donuts, a mystery-flavor purple donut (blueberry?) topped with caramel and chocolate icing and galaxy-inspired edible gold dust and stars. My boyfriend again chose the maple bacon (hey, I did say it was good, lol) and I gave cookies and cream a try. It tasted just like the name suggested and was topped with frosting and chocolate shavings. Whether you live in the Toledo area or come for a visit, Holey Toledough is highly recommended to try!

Very likely the best doughnuts in Toledo. And they seem to know it. They have very creative and inventive flavor combinations that REALLY do work. But dont expect any sort of customer service. Weve been ordering from them for several years. Not consistently, but a box or two every few months. Weve had orders cancelled day of pickup, because they allowed a transaction to process online, but didnt (want to) make as many orders as they sold. Other boxes we prepaid for, were created after we walked in, rather than having it ready to hand over at a time that was predetermined. But, they were already running out of flavors at that time. They are open 7am-12pm for pickup, but its really 7am until sold out. Dont expect to pickup anywhere close to noon. In our books, they have already had strike two. At three, we wont go back again.

I ordered ahead online, but apparently did not complete my order so it was not ready. Some of the donuts we wanted were gone so we only got 6 instead of 12, but the staff was amazing!! I had my 2 year old with me, they gave him a donut to keep happy while I tried to figure out what happened. He stole their display sprinkle donut while I was paying and instead of being upset we all had a good laugh. They truly turned a bad situation into a wonderful experience! We got lucky and snagged some strawberry shortcake donuts too!!

I get excited every week for their flavor announcements! When they had melon milk for St.Patricks I knew I HAD to find the time to come in - SO worth it! That milk was DELICIOUS!

Holey Toledough has some the best specialty donuts around also wonderful customer service. We preordered a BFD to celebrate my son’s 3rd birthday that died and somehow missed the window for pick up. Holey Toledough has a variety of flavors. Try it if you like new flavors and yeast doughnuts over cake! If your tastes tend towards old fashioned cake doughnuts, go elsewhere. Their doughnuts are good here, but theyre more about the fillings/toppings than anything else. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!

So glad I finally tried them! The cakey ones are delish. The Persian is ridiculously good. They are a little pricey, but so worth it for a fun, creative, homemade doughnut. And the staff were great! Best donuts in Toledo hands down. Be warned- they are VERY popular so there is a good chance you may get there and they will have very few or no donuts left at all. Theyre usually good about putting when they our sold out on their social media pages, so check those out. The amount of donuts left though, you find out when you get there! Just keep trying if you dont make it when there are many left. They are well worth it, and well worth getting up early for too! The earlier you go, the more donut options you will have available!They will post what donuts they will be having as often as possible as well on their social pages, so you can get a good idea of what to expect when you go!Customer service has always been great here. Theyre very quick and efficient!They also support a variety of other local businesses as well, which is amazing.If you havent tried them yet, you definitely should!

I have ordered quite a few times from them, and every single time the donuts are sooooo amazing. They look amazing, and I always forget to take pictures because of how excited I get. Never have to get more than four because of how good they are. Highly recommend this place!!!!!

Tried the classic Homer donut thinking I knew what to expect. So much flavor! I had never had a donut where I could actually taste strawberry from the pink icing that most places call strawberry. But all of their flavors really shine through. Im also a big fan of the rotating menu. I like trying all the new flavors they come up with and it makes the old favorites feel more special when theyre available.

Holey Toledough does wedding dessert displays and they do them well! They nailed our specific order of 18 dozen for our wedding reception, delivered them to our venue, and put together the MOST awesome dessert display! The donuts looked awesome how they had them laid out and they included our other dessert table decorations in the display as well. They were in a transition period with staff at the time leading up to our wedding, so the staff member we had been working with was no longer in contact with us. I then contacted the owner, Chris, and he personally texted and called me in the days leading up to the wedding to confirm our order and make sure everything was transferred over correctly since we had worked with more than one staff member. The donuts were fresh, our order was spot on, and our wedding guests LOVED them! They have different packages available, but will honestly do just about anything to make your donut vision come to life and are worth every penny! We held Holey Toledough close to our hearts before our wedding, and even closer now that they helped our day be such a success!

The absolute best donut shop I’ve been to in my 66 years on this earth. You can always find at least 2,4,6 or 8 of their incredibly tasting donuts that are your favorites, not counting the special ones they keep inventing! This place is trying but they just dont have consistency. Their cronut donuts are always different shapes and sizes even in the same day, and much smaller than regular donuts. The regular donuts are sometimes dry and the toppings are kind of sloppy. Its been this way for at least a year now. When they were doing donut deliveries to black kite and such they were so much higher in quality.

My family just hosted a Halloween party and they were able to make it out and supply us with their delicious doughnuts. They were amazing!!! Great flavor, great variety, I definitely recommend checking these guys out!!

Just ate a pumpkin donut and a reeses donut while sitting in the car in the parking lot. SO GOOD! Definitely coming back, delicious donuts that truly satisfy the craving.

Went there on Saturday morning (between 8-9am) last week and was disappointed with the doughnuts. Simple glazed yeast raised doughnut was tough, dry and stale along with the lemon pistachio glazed. Perhaps the cake doughnuts are better. Hopefully it was a fluke, but I did not receive quality, fresh doughnuts on my visit.

It’s disappointing that you can only purchase whatever donuts are leftover, especially at the same price. I think sales would skyrocket if donuts were being made throughout the day and the hours were longer. Good donuts, but hopefully next time I go they have the one I want left.
