I have gone there twice in the past three weeks. Both times they were closed when their hours online state that they are open. They leave a piece of paper on the gates stating when they will open again. When I call, there is no answering machine to state when they will be open again so I have to go into the mall to see what the sign says. Very unprofessional. This has happened in the past a few times before. If they need to close for some reason, then PUT IT ONLINE OR LEAVE A NOTE ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE. Ive wasted two trips there.

Saw a pendant the wife wanted for 20 dollars and walked out with a new diamond ring for her. Staff was very nice and helped her pick out her dream ring. Tho it has to be resized, she was thrilled and happy knowing she will be wearing it in 2 weeks.

I keep going to this location on my lunches to get my ring cleaned and inspected and they are always closed when I get there. This has happened about 6 times now. Really frustrating that they dont have their correct hours posted so that people can make proper plans.

Rip-Off! Nice item prices but Be Careful ordering online! I paid $21.95 for same day shipping because the expected delivery date was Dec. 24; after they charged my card the shipping fee (which is quite high comparatively ) the expected delivery day Never Changed! 😯😔 These are gifts for out of town relatives & after speaking w/customer service I learned that my items are coming from India! Id have done better on eBay.... Same prices, free shipping & due by Dec15th! When I called Zales again to cancel my order they tell me they Cannot Cancel after 1hr. past placing the order!!!! So Now my kids have no Christmas gifts & Im out an extra $21.95 because Zales false advertises & Scams

Terrible customer service. The lady who helped me didnt seem to want to help at all. She was somewhat rude and lazy about the returns I was making and helping answer questions, could tell she didnt really want to be there. I also had to try and show up 3 different times as they keep closing down at random times mid day with just a handwritten sign saying they will be back at a certain time. I get that this is probably because they are struggling due to COVID, and I would have been willing to look past that had my service not been so terrible. I was looking to maybe purchase something else but ended up going to Rogers and Hollands across the way in the mall and had excellent service, not to mention a better selection of jewelery and found something perfect! I also experienced horrible customer service with my online purchase which is what I came to try and return and/or exchange. The earrings I got looked far cheaper than in the picture, and the bracelet I got was beautiful but broke the second time I wore it. This isnt the stores fault but they had an opportunity to makes things better and utterly failed. Despite liking some of the things they carry Im not sure if Ill ever shop any Zales again after these experiences.

I’m not from Ohio, I am from Michigan. But once the stores closed zales in birch run had my rings and wouldn’t communicate with me about anything. I’d emailed the manager multiple times a week and no answer (they had my wedding ring and bands for 3 months) Thankfully the manager at the Toledo location Eric had emailed me and got the location of my rings and the status if they were done or not. Finding out they were done he had them shipped to my house here in Michigan. I’m so appreciative of him and all he did for me. Will forever support this location by word of mouth, can’t say the same for the birch run location. Thank you so much Eric.

Gregg has been such a big help to my fiancé and I!! I had an issue with my old engagement ring (purchased through a different company) and he has been such a great help helping us get a new one! He fixed my fiancé’s policy and has made us very happy customers! We will be back again to the Franklin Park Zales!

I have had such a horrible experience dealing with this place. My fiancé got an engagement ring with them and I went in to go get it sized and also picked out a wedding band. They told me it would be two weeks for everything to be sized. Well I show up to pick up my stuff and they only sized he wedding band. They didn’t touch the engagement ring. They said it was too big to size down and instead of calling us to let us know they did nothing with it for two weeks. They now have to order a new ring for it to be sized down appropriately and they said no more than a week and it will be done. It is now over a week. They have no sense of urgency and I even told them I was irritated and wish they have the decency to call and let us know and the lady wanted to argue back with telling me I was wrong. I don’t recommend going to this place If they treat you like this and I have be our an engagement ring for 3 weeks already and probably longer than that. Something that’s expensive I would like to be wearing it.

I love Zales for their low prices and beautiful jewelry. The only person I deal with at this store is Eric. We have been customers for 5 years and Eric is the only one who treats us as not only customers but as friends. I have had issues with the other employees but Eric has rectified my bad experience. If Eric isn’t there I will not go in. He makes sure that we are well taken care of

Absolutely awful!!! I ordered items for my daughters birthday and Mothers Day. I only received one in time. I spent hours on the phone with customer service to cancel the other two items and still received them a week later. I called customer service again and spoke with Melissa, the manager only to have my intelligence questioned regarding the ordering process. Now I have to take more time to return items to the store. I feel really valued as a customer! To date, Ive worked harder than any of their employees on my issue and had to pay them for the opportunity to do so!

My wife and kids came to the mall to visit a different jewelry store and ended up feeling dejected and put off. We went over to Zales and were helped by the store manager. I do not remember his name, but He was exceptional and we ended up spending a lot more than we originally planned. Thats not a bad thing, just a good salesmen.

We have been searching for MONTHS for a wedding ring for my fiancee. We wanted a simple white gold band with a small recessed diamond. Every other jewelry store we have been to looked at their small display of mens rings and told us sorry they didnt have anything like what we were looking for. Today after visiting the other 3 jewellers in the mall with the same results we were assisted by Eric at Zales. He not only discussed custom options which we could order he spent a lot of time searching online for the ring we described. After well over a half hour (during which we at least found some possibilities) he found EXACTALLY what we were looking for. It was amazing to have someone willing to help and not discouraged by the fact that we already had a firm idea of what we wanted. Awesome experience.

There arent enough horrible things I can say about my Zales experience. We popped in around mid-January to purchase wedding rings for my fiance and myself. To begin with the sales lady acted very snoty and didnt really seem to know what she was talking about. But they had the rings we liked. 3 weeks later we go to pick up out rings. Both were ordered in the wrong size. The ring I picked out didnt even come in the size I ordered. So I was forced to pick out a different ring. 4 weeks later we get a call that their back in. My ring again was ordered in the wrong size. And once again, the second ring I ordered didnt come in the size I needed. So both times instead of anyone contacting us about this, they just ordered it anyways. So just shy of 2 months after paying for them, and now 4 weeks before our wedding; I had no ring. Whats worst is that they never even apologized. Every person we dealt with treated us like the scum of the earth, did nothing to make us feel better about it, and couldnt even say Im sorry...Luckily I popped in to Rogers & Hollands Jewelers across the way, where an amazing salesmen named Jeff. Helped me find a ring, gave me a hell of a deal, and had it in in 2 days! And it fit perfect! After all that, I will never in my life step foot in a Zales again.

Don’t shop at Zales. They are the worst. My now husband bought me an engagement ring online. It had insurance so when I accidentally damaged it, I took it in to get another one. The lady talked me into getting one from the store because “it was better quality”. I haven’t even had it a year yet and I have lost 3 diamonds. I’ve had to take it in (40 minutes is the closest one) to get it repaired each time. So in the matter of less the a year, I haven’t had it for about 2 months out of that time because it was getting repairs. I don’t wear it to sleep, in the shower, and to work most days. The ladies are always rude when I go in there and I will never buy from there again once my ring is paid off and I tell everyone to avoid them.

I requested to get my metal back when I went in for resizing. They had no problem with giving it back. Well when the rings were picked up, my metal was not returned, and I had to request my box back for the tings! Zales will no longer revieve my service!

I have a diamond warranty with my ring meaning that they will make sure my ring is in good standing and will guarentee their work. After they made my ring really thin I didnt think much of it until a sales woman said that it will probably break and I should have it looked at. I took it back to zales to get it realized and to make the underneath band thicker. Marcella, the assistant manager, says that the only way to get it fixed would be to add a shank and that would cost a couple hundred bucks. I was frustrated. I did make a comment to my fiance that well just have zales resize it and go get the shank elsewhere. The woman says that if we get work done anywhere else it would void my warranty because they cant guarantee anyone elses work. I mentioned that they cant guarantee their own since they wont fixed my ring that was messed up by their guys. Her response was that she isnt going to argue with me. I grabbed my ring, said well come back another day, and I will never stop for back in that store again.

Garbage after-purchase service. i was lied to about their return policy in the store, then i got called a liar by one of their associates over the phone, then i called their corporate number and they basically told me there was nothing they can do. easily the worst interaction ive ever had with any company.Update: I went through Better Business Bureau to resolve the issue. turns out my custom jewelry was not actually considered custom by the company and the manager / sales associate / customer service rep were all incorrect. Theyve agreed to return or exchange the product. i moved from 1 star to 3. not 5 or 4 because i was still called a liar and given a huge run around when they should have known their own company policy in the first place.

Worst jewelry store I’ve ever dealt with! My husband and I have been looking at 3 stone rings for a while and now and loved the one at Zales. Didn’t want to buy it from the store in toldeo because of their horrible customer service so my husband asked for the stock number to find it online the manger said he couldn’t give the stock number....called the store in Ann Arbor to see if they had the ring which they didn’t have the size we wanted ended up buying it from the toldeo store and calling the corporate place and they said there was no reason why we couldn’t get our extra % off on top of the sale and to return it and they’ll make it right called the manager to let him know and he said he couldn’t do it. So it’ll be retuned and we’ll NEVER give Zales our business especially the Toldeo store. If your looking for fine jewelry make your purchases at Kays they’re higher quality and way better customer service. I’d rather pay full price rather than deal with the staff especially the manager at the Toldeo store!

NEVER BUY FROM ZALES!! My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Zales in Toledo, OH! It was a complete surprise. He picked it out all by himself. And I was in love! So on March 8, 2018 we were officially an engaged couple after dating for five years. Of course, every girl wants to show off their engagement ring and plan their wedding. On April 14th, 2018 my FIRST diamond fell out. (My ring finger is a size 4 1/2. Which they said they would completely remake my ring so diamonds would NOT fall out... but it happened) After they attempted to repair the ring, it had extremely sharp edges which made the ring uncomfortable to wear (hurt/scratched me). Then, a couple months later on August 18th, 2018, we took it back to fix the sharp prongs that they put on. (We live over an hour away from the closest Zales... and to remind you we are STILL trying to plan a wedding in all this.) We received it back on Friday August 31st, 2018 around 6:30 PM and by the NEXT day, September 1st at 1:30 PM I had my SECOND diamond fall out. NOT EVEN 24 HOURS SINCE I HAD GOTTEN IT BACK FROM THE “JEWELERS”. So we drove back up to Toledo on September 2nd, 2018 to yet again send my ring in! By this time, they have taken my ring away three times to “fix it”. And it takes two weeks to send it in and to fix it and to get it back. I had to shop for MY wedding dress without my ring. I had my engagement party without my ring. I am having my bridal shower without a ring... AT THIS RATE I’M NOT GOING TO HAVE A RING FOR MY WEDDING! And they have no sympathy! I would never recommend Zales to anyone. They never called my fiancé back when they said they WOULD. They never had any compassion for us, and our wedding is on November 10th, 2018... ZALES, YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RIGHT!!!

Stop in Sales to enquire about a mothers pendent. Salesman Aaron had his back to me and rolled his eyes before he turned around to answered my question. Im sure he didnt think I saw him.... But I did. Very Poor customer service. I will NEVER purchase anything from this location again.

I love zales I have NEVER had an issue with them they are friendly and very helpful. I buy all my jewlery there. Ive went to other places in the mall and was ignored and put off but not at zales they acknowledged me right away and have been do so since.

Happy with ring i purchased very unhappy with how long it takes to get back any money zales owes you it will be judgement day by the time you get your money back so if your unsure if you might return something or not do not buy unless you know for sure your keeping it i kept ring still waiting on the defference to be mailed in a form of a check that i think never was issued but oh well all i can do is wait right.

Not the best customer service or quality. A stone fell out of my engagement ring after wearing it for less than two weeks. Needless to say, we returned the ring and are going elsewhere.
